Donald Trump court hearing in Georgia case; First Amendment argument | Live stream
Lawyers for former President Donald Trump will be in court in Atlanta on Thursday morning arguing his charges in the Georgia 2020 election RICO case should be dismissed on First Amendment grounds.
A motions hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. It will include also incorporate arguments on two motions brought by Trump's co-defendant David Shafer, the former Georgia Republican Party chairman.

Trump get away with using the first amendment, this mean anyone call Georgia and say anything to a city official they feel like saying and say I got freedom of speech regardless what they say.
Context is key here,was the said speech said with the intent to commit a crime, to express concern etc. State will have to prove it was with inent, defence will claim otherwise. Do u punish a naughty child because he did something wrong or do you do it because you dont like the naughty child basically.
