I hope that the weather was better than forecasted. ❤
id much prefer if you would show us some more projects, like reupolstering or some diy on old furniture like you used to do now that you dont have any major inside works done. i miss seeing Stephanie doing projects and teaching us about art the same time. I m sooo tired hearing about the chapel, travels or ''filler'' schenes like you making a mess on your dress. Really i miss the old videos. Please consider changing your material and make it something about the castle or at least some renowork done by YOU this time!
@@kostaskaras-tm9if with progression comes change. So on that note, we have seen them decorating and using the new sewing machine. They are getting ready for the season to begin, now that’s a task. Not to mention that one wall that needs fixing. Also, 5yrs ago her chateau wasn’t world famous like she is now. 🙏❤️🥂
@@JudithBisson the castle needs constand repair and changes, agreed 100%. But we are not here supporting since all these years ago to get a daily video of things that have nothing to do with chateau life. No one needs a clip of steph washing her dress nor a whole video making chocolate molds. at least i dont so thats my personal opnion and im expressing as. To conclude i have noticed that the videos are not so much intresting as they used to be and i would love to see stephanie get her hands on some more projects. Maybe ditch the dailies if that means we could get better content? Afterall we(the people that are following and watching these videos )are the reason all this is possible and i think to keep up she needs more substansial content
@@kostaskaras-tm9if that’s fine, Maybe 🤔, it’s time to get what you need from the plethora of the other wonderful channels dedicated to chateau life in France. Good luck 😉
Wow what a great job of the Saint Cecilia's face by Steve.
Please get Lancelot a GPS devise for his collar so if he does escape from the chateaux you’ll be able to track where he is. A dog his size should never be outside alone as large birds like hawks can easily carry him away.
Omberline is clearly in her element, the garden is her happy place and she takes it seriously. It’s a great garden too.
Put an Apple air tag on Lancelot’s collar. Then if he gets out you’ll know where he is.
This is for ALL Followers! Please, please, please, (after watching this) go to The Moons and see what great things they do to help older horses and other animals. They are doing all the physical work to help the Legends and are such a great family. They just saved 2 more starving horses.
Yes, love the Moons channel! 💖✨
I watched one but just couldn't get into it.@@KimBThePreppers
Honestly you guys have the best garden dream team with Kirsty and Amberlin. I'm sure those spellings are incorrect, but nonetheless those two are wonderful and knowledgeable☀ ❤ they seem so patient and kind
Ombeline?
Stephanie, you look beautiful in whatever you wear, SO wear what feels comfortable, not what Philip suggests. He may have a good eye for laying a table but that doesn't mean you should take his word when it comes to dressing yourself x
after all there is differences... sorry
The chapel is sure looking great as the paint goes on. Hope you find a good solution for Lancelot about going out side alone.
The chapel restoration is looking very good! Enjoy your visit in Normandy. 🙏❤️
I love that Lancelot was too scared to go out, and now they have to put a gate up to keep him in! So heartwarming that he's in a great home and living his best dog life!
On e again, the piano music was wonderful. Made me miss Maria’s concerts!
Phillip & Anna are amazing host. I love Phillip's humour 😂
I really hope you guys enjoy Normandy. I miss my home region a lot. There's so much to see and discover in Normandy. So much history (a big part of the UK's history is linked to Normandy too so I guess it's always interesting for British people to visit this region in particular)
Gosh the chapel is looking so good!
The chapel is going to be astonishing!
Phillip and Anna are lovely. He will keep you laughing. Enjoy your visit.❤
I❤ Phillip's sense of humour 😂.
A screen door and window screens would be a good solution to keep Lancelot in and it will keep the bugs and other critters out. I'd move some of the furniture away from the windows so that he can't hop onto the windowsill. The garden is looking great!
they have pressure mounted dog gates. They work great. No screwing into the wall and you can take them up and down easily.
Look into finding old fire screens which you can attach to the doorways and use as your doggy gates. Then when not in use they can fold in and still be aesthetically pleasing.
So good to see you folks there again. Can't wait to see Normandy. You know, Phillip and Anna was the first Chateau owners I started watching...it was the title without killing my partner that got me and Philips straight up kinda funny. lol
You may need to fence in a small area of your yard for Lancelot, something in the shade. That way he can go out and feel satisfied.
I loved riding in the car with you and listening to the piano. I felt like I was on holiday with you.
Agastache is hyssop 😊❤🇦🇺
That was fantastic! By the way, we haven't seen Andrew for such a long time. You have his car but where is he?
Hope you figure out a way to keep Lancelot safe. Glad you got to visit Phillip and Anna again
GPS collar for the dog. So easy. He will stick close to home the more attached he gets to you all and the place.
Love Philip & Anna & their beautiful house. Philip is a scream & Anna is not only beautiful but has such exquisite taste. Their kitchen is my dream kitchen. Hope the weather's good enough for a trip to Honfleur. Unmissable !
Speak with Patrick and Stewart about the gps tags they use for their dogs to keep track of them. It’s not going to be easy to keep Lancelot inside I don’t envy the task you will have to contain him safely
I love roasted beet salad!!! With feta and walnuts!!!
Just something to think about but they do make dog collars that hold AirTags, so if he does get out you can find him!
They offer a retractable dog gate these days that would probably be a lot more discrete!
Those colours look so incredible and it must feel like the biggest satifaction seeing the chapel coming to life this way.
How wonderful to visit Phillip & Anna. They are such fun with a lovely chateau and Anna is so talented. Hope you all enjoy a relaxing 2 days. ❤
I really, really love the garden updates! 😍 ❤❤
It's called "Halo" a wireless invisible dog fence that you can set up with your phone. Dogs don't leave the property.

Have a wonderful time that Chateau is gorgeous ❤
After chappel is refreshed, I can imagine your staff could organize a wedding or two in such a lovely environment..
An invisible fence system might be the ticket to look into for Lancelot. They make versions that are gps set so you can trace the exact area to be covered.
The
Definitely do an invisible fence.
I didn't know what Agastache was til I googled: it's Hyssop, a very nice herb with edible flowers and leaves (I think stalks are edible too, though I don't know how tender they are).
So incredible seeing the the chapel progress.Steve is such a good friend and does amazing work! St Cecelia face is gorgeous! Hope you have a safe and fun visit. Thank you for all the videos and for sharing your chateaux et al and France with us!
I hope Anna and Philip would give you again another house tour of what they have accomplished to date. It would be nice to see your reactions to these rooms since you last came.
In the States we have what is called "Hallo" a collar the dog wears that can keep the dog in the parameters of your property or around the Chateau maybe even inside the Chateau. If the dog goes anywhere near the parameters that you set, his collar beeps and he know not to go farther. You set the area you are allowing the dog to go with your phone. When my dogs were alive we had them trained not to leave the yard, we opened the door and out they went and time to come in, they just knew. Check it out.
You can get dog tracking collars for Lancy they are quite inexpensive.
What a wonderful time spent together. It’s lovely to see your château tribe grow and thrive. St. Cecilia resembles Sara which is so sweet. In art school I learned and experienced that we instinctively create what we know and love, as Stephen did.
How about a small fenced-off area where Lancelot can go outside without running off?
Hello Dears. I know you believe a collar and tag might be sufficient. BECAUSE you pup means SO MUCH to you PLEASE PLEASE have him microchipped. It is the FOOLPROOF means of determining who he belongs to so he can be returned home 💕
Permanent identification of a dog in compulsory in France so he would either be microchipped or tattooed.
Wow, the new paint work in the Chapel is coming along fabulously. I’m a “ penaholic” love all things pens. Nattys looks awesome. X Anna
Love the garden and chapel updates. So fun seeing you with Anna and Philip at their chateau. I started watching your utube channel after I found theirs.
I'm enjoying to see the vegetable garden in progress. The herbs are great.
There are collars on the market with GPS that can be tracked on your phone & you can also put a perimeter for Lancelot that sets off a signal on your phone when he exceeds it! 🐾
Oh my gosh! The chapel will be stunning!! Rich with all these colors!! Will be a jewel!!
What a wonderful video! Earlier today I watched Philip and Anna's video of your arrival. Good grief, I feel like I live in France!
The chapel sure is coming along. It's so exciting. Lancelot is so beautiful. I love him. Great to see the ladies achieving so much in the garden. I love beetroot. It's great that Spring is finally arriving for you all. Ziggy doggy of course is wonderful with Philip and Anna. Enjoy the couple of days away! Hopefully Molly and Lancelot remain friends in your absence!
What a wonderful day-- the garden is so great and remember when Isabelle was the one who mowed the place on that tiny mower? It seems so long ago. I loved Natti's beautiful dress and, well, all IS well!
What a good job the painters have done.
In the USA we use harmless underground wireless fences for our pets. They wear a lightweight collar that gives sound warnings and light corrections if too close. We have used them for years and never lost a pet. Useful for even cats and the smallest of pets. Training is minimal time.
good afternoon from the Great State of New Mexico. USA
Hello from Vancouver Island Canada
The chapel is coming on nicely indeed it's going to be beautiful when it's finished, hope you have a lovely break with Anna and Philip which I watched earlier and you had just arrived nice meal Philip with a bit off help by Anna made . I really enjoyed this video thanks.💕🌼🤗
Glad you are so thrilled at the changes in the chapel.
And the bank account! 🤣🤣
@paulawynne6420 Exactly. For the amount she paid, she better be nothing less than thrilled. 😅
@@Sgirl The "Buy Me a Star" campaign is paying for the chapel restoration.
The chapel is looking glorious
Have a great time and say Bonjour to Anna and Philip... XXX Yves
Always love the walled garden in the sunshine. Love exploring and Normandy will be beautiful
The chapel is looking amazing! Thank you for the video!
What a delight to see the progress on the chapel! 🎩💖✨
Loving to see you using a fountain pen! I will have to check out that brand. I haven’t heard of it here in the USA. I love fountain pens and I have quite a collection. They bring me joy!❤
I love the idea of a fountain pen 🖋 My Dad always used one. Being left-handed 🫳🏻 a fountain pen doesn't work so well. 😕
@@mika72.-Bois there are fountain pen companies that make fountain pens for left handed people. KZhead has a whole bunch of people talking about fountain pens. I know I’ve heard some of them say they love their fountain pen as a left handed person. There has to be something out there for you. 😉
Maybe screen doors. You get all the air and light, but doggies stay in. Also no bugs inside.
Try expandable baby gates they use pressure against walls
Get a Halo collar. You can make a fence any where he is roam from your phone. You will always be able to find him.
Hope you two have a wonderful trip. ❤❤❤
Andrew loaning his Porsche is absolutely wonderful, especially for a long car ride! Ziggy was so sweet towards Philip! Enjoy!
Who is Andrew? Have I missed someone? What does he do at LaLande to store his car there?
The chapel is going to be so stunning. I can see such beautiful gatherings there! ❤
You could try a gps collar on Lancelot. So if he gets about you will know where he is. I dont know if they make them that small!
Hola from Vilcabamba, Ecuador
Too sweet...too short! I would watch one hour of this lovely gift to us, thank you Stephanie and Philip.
Good friends is a blessing!
Stephanie, I want to suggest that you do a video dedicated specifically to the chapel restoration when it is finished. A video showing the process from start to finish. I really enjoy watching your vlog, thank you for sharing your life with us.
Great idea!
OMG! Little Lancelot is so stinkin’ adorable!! I agree with the commenter on training him to not go outside without you. In the meantime see if Amaury can make a little “gate” for the kitchen window. It only needs to go half way up. I would hate for him to jump out and injure himself. 😢 So glad you are spending time with Philip and Anna. The meal looked delicious, Ziggy……adorable as usual, and looking forward to your sightseeing tour. 👍🏻🥰💙🐶🍷😉🙏
Definitely need to sort the Lancelot gates before Air BnB season. He’s such a little charmer - everyone will love him!
STEPHANIE!! I have that exact babygate you bought for keeping in Lancelot and I happen to know they sell an extender set for that model. We have one for our stairwell! Hope this helps!
If i was u i get Lancelot microchipped and yes a collar with your details on it . All dogs here in NZ are microchipped
I can't recall, is Lancelot microchipped? France has a great online system to locate dog owners. Enjoy your time with Anna and Phillip and the girls (and Ziggy)!
Oh please take a lot of videos! I used to live there many years ago!✌️😊🦋
I am watching from Ottawa Ontario Canada
We just came back from there! Our son lives in Nepean.
Stephanie, we have a portable fence/gate. My Boisterous Bichons have never moved it, so little Lancelot would be fine. It's on Amazon.
Hello from snowy Minnesota!
We will certainly see in the morning how much snow we receive!
❤Yay! My favorite time of any day!🎉
Hello from Lansing, Michigan, USA!
Enjoyed from Texas!
Oh your veg garden is inspiring ❤
Good evening from Waterdown, Ontario, Canada! Lovely vlog! Enjoyed it very much! Xoxo
Stephanie, what I do with my small-size dog is to keep him on a 15 foot lead/leash that has a hook on both ends. I have a big house and don’t feel he needs to have a run of the place to mark his territory everywhere, which Bichons do, and he can still have access to look out the door or whatever he wants within one large room. I hook one end around a coffee table leg and the other to his collar. They come in longer lengths if one prefers. I have another one that I hook him to let him go potty outside. It’s hooked to a ring in the ground at one end and the other end goes under the kitchen door so I can let him out without going outside myself. It’s a lifesaver and he’s never gotten loose. We take him for walks for exercise. He’s a lapdog so he doesn’t leave our side even if loose in the house except to go potty in another room - so we don’t consider it cruel. The room he’s in is larger than many small homes, as yours are. He has food, water, dog house & his own sofa so he’s quite happy. (Our home isn’t nearly as large as yours tho of course!)
I have a 25 foot leash just like the one you described. It was great when I was training especially for the “come” command and I still use it periodically now.
There is a risk of tripping up guests !! I think he hates the lead now .
Lunchtime in Tasmania. Safe travels!
So cute!
So glad that you get to explore Normandy!
Beautiful!
Someone please, send Stephanie a travel mug, so her tea will not slush all over the place and will stay nice and hot while she’s filming outside.
So fun to see both views of a beautiful reunion! nite nite
