Just ordered mines. Rather have the mini led than the 4k. It's also 1000 nits brightness plus I don't know if you can tell that much of a difference in the pixel per inch.
True because when will you use 4k for? Not gaming because 1440p is really good, you may use 4k for videos but it's not OLED or mini led.
Seems really crazy overkill but I mean good on you if you have lots of money to throw around on these stuffs hahaha because I'd too if I had the money 🤣🤣, I think it's crazy that this portable machine will be able to run just about anything at good ass rendering speed, performance for games wouldn't even be a problem, and at upward of 200-300hz is crazy to me

Forget about battery time. Its around 1 hour when gaming, its extermaly hot when gaming so its basically untouchable.

4080 is 4k on one of these things :/. I can get the legion 7i pro with 4090, 32gb ram, 14th i9, and 2tb SSD for 2400. It's currently on sale though, so normally can't get it at that price. Still that price is just ridiculous for what you get.

Just buy one of the 32 inch 240 hz oled feskyop monitors. Current gpu's can't even game at 120hz 4k multi-player. Maybe for watching movies at 240 hz.

I'd only recommend buying this if you're a doctor who needs to game during office breaks, or if your son wants to be a streamer and you're already affluent. If you give this to your son, his grades will drop. Believe me. Unless you want him to spend the rest of his life on a computer screen, you're better off paying for martial arts lessons.

Can anyone make a 18-in laptop with core i3 or low-end Ryzen APU, no dedicated GPU, just sensible developer laptop with lots of lines of code? I just want no-nonsense 18-inch windows PC that's work ready, and cheap to replace/equip the team with in large quantity, with no gamer gizmos. LG Gram 17 comes close but they don't make 18's.

@@arandomfish9630 Display with oled have pixels that emit light by themselves, so blacks stay black and whites stay white. When you see fully black image on display with oled the screen is fully dark without light. Mini led have a lot of mini lamps that give brightness to bright part of image seen on display and they dim the dark part of image, on lcd/ips display the pixels are always backlit behind by some light source so the fully black pixels aren't that dark like in oled.
for that price, its more cost effective to build a mini-itx or grab a steam deck if space and portability are that much of a necesssity. sheesh
