Speaking of lower tiers, I was looking at my tank list and many of the tanks I was playing before I had a scooby how the game worked had terrible win-rates (44% etc) and rubbish crews with stupid skills. So I've been going back, spending the Battle Pass crew books and grinding the likes of the Conenanter, Crusader, etc to 50%+ win rates - and it's been fun. They are so out of meta that a Crusader in a tier 8 match is comically bad, but now that I know the mechanics I've found that you can do something in those matches... and I thinks it's made me a better player...

I do have these TDs up through tier 8. My biggest problem with the tank is the tiny gun arc combined with the aim time. Just a little bit to the right and left, and you have to traverse the hull, and the bloom restarts the aiming process. Result, I have shots, and the enemy pulls back before I am aimed in or I miss.

If you've been watching the series FALLOUT, I guess that makes me a Ghoul. And as far as snipers "hiding at the back" is concerned that complaint has been going on since the Greek and Roman armies used archers, slingers, and javelin throwers to cut down advancing infantry. Let's go back to a little battle in 1415 at a place called Agincourt, where the smaller English army decisively defeated the larger French army, primarily by the use of a very larger group of about 7,000 longbowmen who rained "cloth-yard" arrows down on the slowly advancing French armored knights and men-at-arms. I'm sure the surviving(*) French noblemen were quite upset that their high position, costly armor, and horses fell to a bunch of peasants armed with long-range weapons, firing from behind barricades of sharpened poles well to the rear and flanks of the main line of attack. Oh, and by surviving(*), it's estimated that 90 to 120 "great lords and baronets" were killed. WG will definitely make adjustments to the Polish TDs when they see they are outperforming Russian TDs, I said yesterday that the Zadymka is not very good but it is okay if you like the gun's alpha and mobility I guess and is probably the only out and out camping sniper in the line, not got the Burza or Gowika yet but they look pretty good to play until inevitable nerfs come

If you're driving a glass canon TD you have not other choice but to stay hidden in the back and snipe. "Camping" is when tanks with decent armor hide in the back and snipe, as if they were a TD with nor armor. WG just wants all games to be over in a couple of minutes so they make more money on consumables.

I don't like the new mechanic, or rather I don't think that it makes any sense. Decrease the damage of a shot based on range. It sounds reasonable, but it completely ignores the purpose of AP-type ammo. Armor piercing rounds are affected by range to the target. That is why WWII cannons were based on the ability to penetrate a Tiger armor at a specified range (I believe it was 1,000 yards). The AP warhead did most of it's damage due to kinetic energy of the round after it penetrated the enemy tank's armor. Either through spalling or through what was left of the round bouncing around the interior of the tank. In my opinion, perhaps they should have decreased penetration at longer ranges, which would have the same effect perhaps, turning the Polish TD's into a brawler style TD instead of a sniper. Lower pen, lower DPS at range.

Currently grinding the line....Tiers 5 & 6 were ok, but the Tier 7 that I'm currently on is great in Tier 7 matchups. In Tier 8 & 9 matchups your armor gets shredded.

Tier 5-7 are pretty good, no real armor until tier 7. View range is bad, horrid at tier 5. Mobility is pretty good. They're not OP, but they are decent.

Hi again Claus. These 76 yr old eyes see better than you young pups. Wink. Tier 7 tank was aiming for the tank track wheel as the enemy tank was on a hill crest, was trying to track him. Tier tank was smarter in my opinion, you wanted him up on top where he would be more visible and no cover. Down on lower level he had more cover..buildings and etc. And look at his results. 3897 damage and 6 kills. Now I will watch the tier 5 match......watch what you say the old guy is watching and listening......Wink. Good videos....

i kept my t6 and the t8 .. but nthing special about them .. but i hated my t8 .. i was platooned up with my buddy and had a premium round in cause i kept getting in t10 games -- and a stupid elc would be trying to get me... and i hit 3 different ones in the side with 305mm of premium pen .. NOPE critical hit...... but i agree with the pen .. look at any rifle .. if you shoot something farther away it looses its power... only HE and HEAT rounds wouldnt loose their penetration power because they are explosive .. NOT a solid round .........

Hated the V, like the VI (kept it), VII seems OK, gave up on the VIII and stopped grinding, have the IX and X unlocked (thank you blueprints) and purchased but lightly played. Really would rather spend my time playing other tanks than looking at this line any further.

Ordinary promotion from WOT tips !! (Haha 3-6-8000 Damage) you don't get 1/4th of what you see here in real game!!! These bastards have a modified mod for promotions to see they are still in the top ranks, what he shoots is a hit!! if a tank hits him.. then a rebound... I guarantee that you won't have it that way!! and it will be the opposite on mil. % and besides... don't buy premium or premium tanks!!! it's useless anyway, the server determines the damage,,..determines victory and defeat .. If you upload min Damage to the opponent, the server will automatically flip and give Victory/ if High damage to the opponent - it is automatically Defeat.. You have a tank of 8 levels and you are approximately at the bottom of the team or on the bottom team composition, stacked from level 10 = It's automatically a win because you have no chance to shoot down Level 10 that is: min. damage = victory.!!! If you are on the highest rungs in the lineup, e.g. team level 8 to level 6 , Automatically = high damage to the opponent and you automatically = Defeat!! Server. BLOCKS....visibility, enemy detections, opponent damage, you can just do whatever you want :D !! it's wasted money!! You actually have more losses than wins in the game!! Ask yourself another question.. how many times have you recorded what you see here? (it's easy to play if you're an admin with a good game mode!), and this thieving company gives replays like this every day ... they're just lying to you and fooling you it's a great game, waiting for you to adjust the game mode to the minimum so that you can put real money into it!! Also note that they offer only premium or 10 level tanks, where you have huge losses in the game even during premium, especially if you use gold-i (premium cartridges)!!! , for 1 battle minus up to 8-20,000 cash... if not more... wt.

the only way this mechanic works on a physics level is if the shell is purely kinetic in nature.
Hi again Claus. These 76 yr old eyes see better than you young pups. Wink. Tier 7 tank was aiming for the tank track wheel as the enemy tank was on a hill crest, was trying to track him. Tier tank was smarter in my opinion, you wanted him up on top where he would be more visible and no cover. Down on lower level he had more cover..buildings and etc. And look at his results. 3897 damage and 6 kills. Now I will watch the tier 5 match......watch what you say the old guy is watching and listening......Wink. Good videos....

I'd hardly called that camping. He was moving back and forth across that whole ridge line.
During the Zadymka battle, the player always moves/jerks his target cursor UP when he shoots. It seems on purpose. Does anyone know why he does this?

i kept my t6 and the t8 .. but nthing special about them .. but i hated my t8 .. i was platooned up with my buddy and had a premium round in cause i kept getting in t10 games -- and a stupid elc would be trying to get me... and i hit 3 different ones in the side with 305mm of premium pen .. NOPE critical hit...... but i agree with the pen .. look at any rifle .. if you shoot something farther away it looses its power... only HE and HEAT rounds wouldnt loose their penetration power because they are explosive .. NOT a solid round .........
And what made anyone thing these new TD's would do anything other than camp. more excellent logic by WG, now we just have more heavily armored campers

Hated the V, like the VI (kept it), VII seems OK, gave up on the VIII and stopped grinding, have the IX and X unlocked (thank you blueprints) and purchased but lightly played. Really would rather spend my time playing other tanks than looking at this line any further.
If you play an unrealistic tank game, why not switch off the recoil visual effect when you fire?

no i wouldnt recomend to grind those tanks becouse 8 out of 10 matches you will be bottom tier and you will be pened like knife through the batter unless you have less than 20k battles
I am on the tier IX and they are just not fun to play.

Claus talks about distance effecting damage in these Polish TD reviews but nothing in his videos seems to support his assumptions. Unless that nerf has yet to take place....
Blame WG... They've introduced the mechanic, can't expect them to do it properly! Only affects t8 and above TD's as well..

These bastards have a modified mod for promotions to see they are still in the top ranks, what he shoots is a hit!! if a tank hits him.. then a rebound... I guarantee that you won't have it that way!! and it will be the opposite on mil. % and besides... don't buy premium or premium tanks!!! it's useless anyway, the server determines the damage,,..determines victory and defeat .. If you upload min Damage to the opponent, the server will automatically flip and give Victory/ if High damage to the opponent - it is automatically Defeat.. You have a tank of 8 levels and you are approximately at the bottom of the team or on the bottom team composition, stacked from level 10 = It's automatically a win because you have no chance to shoot down Level 10 that is: min. damage = victory.!!! If you are on the highest rungs in the lineup, e.g. team level 8 to level 6 , Automatically = high damage to the opponent and you automatically = Defeat!! Server. BLOCKS....visibility, enemy detections, opponent damage, you can just do whatever you want :D !! it's wasted money!! You actually have more losses than wins in the game!! Ask yourself another question.. how many times have you recorded what you see here? (it's easy to play if you're an admin with a good game mode!), and this thieving company gives replays like this every day ... they're just lying to you and fooling you it's a great game, waiting for you to adjust the game mode to the minimum so that you can put real money into it!! Also note that they offer only premium or 10 level tanks, where you have huge losses in the game even during premium, especially if you use gold-i (premium cartridges)!!! , for 1 battle minus up to 8-20,000 cash... if not more... wt.

Tier 9 is fine , rest is horrible. Tier 8 looks fun at paper but the armor does not work and it turns to slow. So no fun 😊.
