When she flipped upside down, went down quickly, just to catch herself wrapped by the ankles. That wrappage (i know that can't be a word) must hurt though, holding her up like that.

The performance was stunning. The only thing that bothered me was what seemed like concrete flooring. She had no mats to soften a fall or save her life if she were too fall.

Amazing performance. Blown away. So beautiful. Please use mats have you not seen what happened to cirque de soleil performer last year? Very strong and experienced he died in between the big moves, just lost his grip on the roman ring fell feet first instantly dead. Terrible

As a person who performs in Circus arts and Aerials, most of these tricks are actually quite painful. Having the silks wrapped around her entire body, and her moving so quickly in incredibly impressive. This routine is very exhausting and would be quite scary, to do this many drops so fast. Well done 👏

this is insanely beautiful! one of my favourite aerial silks acts I've ever seen. one thing - she really needs a mat working at that height. aerialists die or break their necks and backs from falls all the time. just use a crash mat - it is not a risk worth taking.

maybe it isn't worth the risk to you, but considering her obvious comfort on the silks I am sure she is very experienced and there is less risk. Falling would be devastating with or without a mat.

Right! Like you may know the move perfectly but one wrong twist or knot or placing the silk wrong could lead to you falling and injuring your self really bad!

That was an absolutely great performance. With what ease she mastered it. I am very impressed. I kept hoping to hear the audience clapping during the video, but probably the music was too loud. She deserved to have the audience applauding all the time.

The audience probably was not allowed to clap or make noises so she can hear the background music from up there

for the video music is usually put over all of the audio so you cant hear the clapping. If you look closely im pretty sure you can see clapping after each drop. It's just for the quality of video.

I do aerial and it is very dangerous without a soft floor because one mistake can take you to death

Fer Zuñiga no it can’t, one mistake can end with an injury but it’s worth the risk. It’s a lot of fun but you won’t die from falling! I fell from the top of the silk upside down once it hurt but I was fine I just got back up and tried again, and if I hadn’t I wouldn’t be as good as I am today.

Sophie May, you must be 7 to think that you can’t die from that. Who knows, you might not even do aerial silks because you have no idea what you’re talking about. Do you actually know how many aerialists die from not using a mat every year? I think it should be a rule for everyone just for safety. And yes maybe it won’t do too much good with that height of a drop but I’m pretty sure it would be better than what looks like concrete!

As a tree climber, working at height and relying on friction all day, this is incredible. I often have people tell me that they could never do what I do. It may look scary to most who don't know about the safety gear used in tree work, but I'm tied in at all times. If at any second somthing goes wrong i'm not going to fall to the ground. This is mind-blowing to me, the skill required to so accurately and quickly recognize and manage your friction is amazing.

I’m just getting into silks, just foot locks hurt and I’ve always had a fear of falling, so even a beginner can see how beautiful and effortless she made this look! Her movements were so fluid you could miss her getting ready for a drop!

Mam 10 lat i trafiłam tu przypadkiem. Dzięki tego typu filmom odzyskałam miłość do szarf. 1,5 roku temu moja najlepsza przyjaciółka spadła z bardzo dużej wysokości. Szarfa była zamocowana po amatorsku i tak to się skończyło. Trafiła do szpitala w stanie krytycznym. Kamila (tak ma na imię) cudem żyje. Nie wróciła już na szarfy ale trenuje gimnastyke

Sok sikert ! Nagyon nehéz, de ha sokat gyakorolsz, sikerülni fog. Én nem kerestem az íjászatot, de megtaláltam és a gyakorlások eredménye az lett, hogy világbajnok vagyok, de ezt nem dicséretből mondom csak hogy minden lehetséges hiszen 12 éves vagyok

When she flipped upside down, went down quickly, just to catch herself wrapped by the ankles. That wrappage (i know that can't be a word) must hurt though, holding her up like that.
Ahhw E-Any yea, it’s really painful! And you get a lot of ugly bruises all over your body.
The performance was stunning. The only thing that bothered me was what seemed like concrete flooring. She had no mats to soften a fall or save her life if she were too fall.

Amazing performance. Blown away. So beautiful. Please use mats have you not seen what happened to cirque de soleil performer last year? Very strong and experienced he died in between the big moves, just lost his grip on the roman ring fell feet first instantly dead. Terrible
As a person who performs in Circus arts and Aerials, most of these tricks are actually quite painful. Having the silks wrapped around her entire body, and her moving so quickly in incredibly impressive. This routine is very exhausting and would be quite scary, to do this many drops so fast. Well done 👏
that's all I could think about... ok (pose) that hurts ok (that one pinches tight) ok (that one bruises) ok (that one, I'll need my chiro tomo) ok (ya, that hurts again) and. my arms are tired
This is some things that people never actually think about but they are so true, they do hurt quite a lot and most of them leave bruises

Yes I, too do aerial silks and it is amazing how she makes these hard, painful tricks look so flawless
I was holding my breath the entire time. This child has a concrete floor below her and this haunting music. Shes phenomenal in her strength and poise !

this is insanely beautiful! one of my favourite aerial silks acts I've ever seen. one thing - she really needs a mat working at that height. aerialists die or break their necks and backs from falls all the time. just use a crash mat - it is not a risk worth taking.

maybe it isn't worth the risk to you, but considering her obvious comfort on the silks I am sure she is very experienced and there is less risk. Falling would be devastating with or without a mat.
I know, right? I'd love to do that but I'm too afraid of heights (for the very reason you're talking about)! I wouldn't want to climb up that high...
Right! Like you may know the move perfectly but one wrong twist or knot or placing the silk wrong could lead to you falling and injuring your self really bad!

That was an absolutely great performance. With what ease she mastered it. I am very impressed. I kept hoping to hear the audience clapping during the video, but probably the music was too loud. She deserved to have the audience applauding all the time.
The audience probably was not allowed to clap or make noises so she can hear the background music from up there
for the video music is usually put over all of the audio so you cant hear the clapping. If you look closely im pretty sure you can see clapping after each drop. It's just for the quality of video.

I do aerial and it is very dangerous without a soft floor because one mistake can take you to death
Fer Zuñiga no it can’t, one mistake can end with an injury but it’s worth the risk. It’s a lot of fun but you won’t die from falling! I fell from the top of the silk upside down once it hurt but I was fine I just got back up and tried again, and if I hadn’t I wouldn’t be as good as I am today.

Sophie May, you must be 7 to think that you can’t die from that. Who knows, you might not even do aerial silks because you have no idea what you’re talking about. Do you actually know how many aerialists die from not using a mat every year? I think it should be a rule for everyone just for safety. And yes maybe it won’t do too much good with that height of a drop but I’m pretty sure it would be better than what looks like concrete!
And if you actually fell from the top of silks you wouldn’t just get back up, you would probably be in a hospital. Especially if you were upside down

You must have some pretty good flexibility yourself .... for your jaw to be on the ground during this entire video.

i thought i would be good at it too, because i made 3 years of ballet and 4 of gymnastics and it is still kicking my ass off
As a tree climber, working at height and relying on friction all day, this is incredible. I often have people tell me that they could never do what I do. It may look scary to most who don't know about the safety gear used in tree work, but I'm tied in at all times. If at any second somthing goes wrong i'm not going to fall to the ground. This is mind-blowing to me, the skill required to so accurately and quickly recognize and manage your friction is amazing.
the way that she just makes the silk appear in the right places… it's like she isn't even putting it around her it is so smooth.

I absolutely agree I was thinking that as I watched I noticed how her choreography matches the music throughout the routine and as an aerialist I find that most KZhead videos of aerial dance doesn't really match the music.

I come back to this performance time and time again. As a fellow aerialist I can imagine the amount of time training, choreographing and rehearsing this would have taken! Absolutely amazing! ❤

I’m just getting into silks, just foot locks hurt and I’ve always had a fear of falling, so even a beginner can see how beautiful and effortless she made this look! Her movements were so fluid you could miss her getting ready for a drop!

The first time I watched this I just didn’t know what to think. So much frenetic energy. Now I have been doing silks for a year and OH MY GOD. She is so strong, so graceful, so musical! I am thoroughly impressed!
you are literally so impressive! people don’t realise the strength you need to just hold yourself in the air that high little alone all the drops and everything!! i barely trust myself to balance in the splits a couple feet off the air with a mat underneath me, your skills are incredible!
With the music and her performance I feel like I just watched an epic battle between gods

Mam 10 lat i trafiłam tu przypadkiem. Dzięki tego typu filmom odzyskałam miłość do szarf. 1,5 roku temu moja najlepsza przyjaciółka spadła z bardzo dużej wysokości. Szarfa była zamocowana po amatorsku i tak to się skończyło. Trafiła do szpitala w stanie krytycznym. Kamila (tak ma na imię) cudem żyje. Nie wróciła już na szarfy ale trenuje gimnastyke
