Take same quantity of each items: Pumpkin Seeds Flax Seeds Oat Almonds Pista Walnuts peanuts Dry roast all these ingredients for 2 mins or until little brown Once it cool add Chia seeds Mix and grand together and make it powder Take 1 tablespoon of this powder with milk or smoothie

I did a quick breakdown of just these four ingredients to equal out 1 cup for simplicity: 1/4 cup of each - hemp seed, flax seed, chia seeds, and pumpkin seeds. The total for that mix would be - 31 grams of protein / 32 grams of carbs / 53 grams of fat / 714 grams total. Assuming you broke that down into four servings, you are looking at: 7.75 grams of protein, 8 grams of carbs, 13 grams of fat, and 178 calories total. Nowhere near the results I was hoping for. Even if I doubled that, the protein is still only around 15 grams, but the carbs now are at 26 (not horrible), but 26 grams of fat (albeit good fat), but at 356 calories. Depending on what you are training for, as healthy as this may be, it is very caloric dense and not sure if it is worth the amount of effort to make in bulk. I do love the recipes, and will continue to look for ways of replacing store bought protein shakes.

Whey is also indigenous, which means it comes from MILK. Also, there is no replacement for Protein powder since, these homemade ideas contains lots of carbs and fats not lean protein. It's good as in individual diet but not comparable to Protein powder.

Hello, Can you please tell us how much protein you will get by consuming 100 Gm of the mixture ? Nuts contain generally 20-30 % Protein which means I spoon of 20 gm serving will give only 4-6 gm of protein while same quantity of commercial protein will give 16-18 gm of protein.

No don't go for this recipe. It is full of fat and carbs. Negligible protein. Nothing can replace whey protein. Because whey is also a natural occurring substance, made from milk. Companies take good precautions to keep the protein pure.

Hello ma’am I subscribed to your channel just today and browsed through a number of videos. This one about home made protein powder seems great. My husband is diabetic and has lost quite a bit of muscle over the last two years. Can I use this protein powder for him ? He has been on medication for blood sugar, blood pressure for more than 10 years now. Apart from these he takes blood thinning medicine and 2 supplements- vitamin B and omega-3.
