I looked to the auction house to see if it was any good (if there was a lot of them for sale and they were cheap I wasn't going to grind for the playlist) I found only one for sale the first time looking for it for 250k
I got one as a gift from someone and sold it for like 700k

I have all these cars in my garage, the Ford GT OPI, the Zonda Oreo and the Ford 32 Forza edition, and the way I got them was funny. One day I went to play Forza via the cloud and out of nowhere it appeared that I had received them in my garage and I was able to drive all of them but that was just for one day now they are just in the garage and I can't use them because the game says I don't have the DLC.
Typical Team 10 bullshit, “oh you got the DLC by mistake? Sure we’ll let you try them for 24 hours and then keep them in your garage but after that you’re never allowed to drive them”
Exactly same here. Before i got the premium thing, i received premium, the car pass and every car pack available at the time for free.

Sometime last year I had gotten a notification in FH5 saying that the devs gave me both the Oreo and Controller vehicles. About a day later they were removed from my account. I also had my mom buy the Opi nail polish 😂

Thank you! I may at last be able to get my beloved Lancia 037 in FH5! I think it's only been in one playlist, and if it's been in the shop I've clearly missed it. I'll admit I'm too old to sit and hit refresh on the auction house for very long, but I still check every time I play, to no avail.

At one point there was a bug where some Gamepass Cloud Gaming users for FH5 got access to the OPI GT, FE 32 Coupe, and Oreo Zonda on top of the Premium Edition DLC add ons. They patched it but as long as you didn't remove the cars from your garage, you still have them, though they won't count to your car collection count as you don't "own" them as DLC.

I actually saw an OPI Ford GT not too long ago. It was exiting the main festival site and I got a photo of it (not a screenshot but taking a picture of my monitor with my phone).
I have the Oreo Zonda as I bought a pack to get it. Technically you didn’t need to buy a pack as someone online took photos of them and put them online. I had to use one of the photos as I ate the only one of that symbol in the pack before getting the code and I needed that symbol to get the car. It worked. Yes, the car is tuned differently and it has Oreo Edition in the name. There was also a Forza Horizon promotion with Krispy Kreme donuts but that didn’t give a car as a reward. Just some logos on donuts.
The 2019 Toyota 4Runner trd pro is also a very rare truck in the game as well and hard to auction snipe! I managed to get it in the festival playlists twice as well so I’ve got 2.
You can obtain the E-ray if you have an older xbox. I played the new motorsport through the cloud and i was able to get it that way.

There is a car I am surprised you didn't mention on this list. The DMC-12. As far as I remember, it was only able to be earned in the Summer season the first week the game was released. While I haven't been able to play in many months now, I have kept up with the monthly videos and not once have I seen that car show up in a playlist in all this time. So I feel like that should also be on your top rare list unless I am wrong and it has been featured for a second time. Also based on what you said, I am one of the lucky few then to own the OPI Ford GT.

Fun fact: if you play Forza Horizon 5 through Xbox game cloud, sometimes there is a glitch that you can add these rare cars to your garage, including DLC cars and even drive them. I drove this Opi Ford GT and the Oreo Pagani Zonda a lot.
Weirdly enough, I remember downloading FH5 last year on Xbox from gamepass, before I moved to PC, and I had the Oreo Zonda, For De Luxe FE, and OPI GT already in my garage, and I could drive them just fine. Along with every DLC available. Sadly can't anymore since I moved to PC, so now they're just in my garage taking up slots. Unusable and unsellable-
I got the OPI Ford GT, FE Coupe and the Oreo Pagani. Honestly fun cars to drive and definitely catch people's attention. 9/10 times when I drive the OPI GT people think its fake till they read the in game name. They were easy to obtain. Beauty stores had nail polish. I bought a 2 pack of FH5 x OPI collaborative nail polish for $35, got in my car, snapped a photo of my receipt then went back in about 10 minutes later after submitting the code on the site and it being confirmed and valid, I then returned the polish and got my money back. The FE Coupe I got because for some reason my Gamestop had 4 of those controllers in stock, so I got one and the pagani oreo was from a pack of oreos. I have all these cars on the list and they are fun in their own unique way. However a very honorable mention is the Cadillac limousine and the Hoonigan Gymkhana 9 Ford Focus, Honda Ridgeline Baja and Polaris RZR Pro XP Ultimate
You can get the Oreo Pagani Zonda's from the auction house and it seems to be very common.
You cnat actually, if you dont already have one. If you havent redeemed it with a code you dont have the "DLC", and you cant buy it, just like the car pack ones
@@SuraSzellemim pretty sure you could, back in FH4 i know that i tried to auction snipe the Lamborghini Urus but it was from a DLC or a car pack, but it could still be able to be auctioned, just not for non dlc players
Should add the Gymkhana 9 rs. Appeared once over a year ago and i swear not many people even know about it bc it was hidden as a race reward. The only exclusive from a race durring the whole month. And the only car i looked over it.

Thankfully I've gone through the effort to collect, every. single. car in the game. Every festival playlist car, every limited time DLC car, every reward car from accolades, championships, you name it, I got it. For the limited time DLC cars, although I did the proper things IRl to get them but it didn't want to work so I had to scour eBay for the codes there as the actual way to do it just didn't want to work for me. Also for the OPI Edition, there are still codes for them available on eBay, but the codes go for upwards of $80 USD now, which is insane.
you forgot about the polaris rzr pro, thats also one of the rarest cars in the game. i spent around 40 hours trying to auction house snipe it. finally i asked someone for help and got it a while back

Actually I did see a few S700 in the auction house. I was just too slow to grab it most of times. The cars that I’m still looking for but NEVER saw in the auction house are the Alfa Romeo 4C and 8C, the AMC Javelin, the Ford Station Wagon, the Hoonigan Focus (9 RS RX), the Lancia 037 and Delta S4, the Morris Traveller and the Subaru Legacy RS. So far no visual contact
My personal favorite "rare" car is the DeLorean. I got it back when it was an exclusive car for the festival playlist

The Sierra 700 reminds me of the Fiat Dino back in FH4. At one point, the devs said it was the least redeemed car (or something like that) in the game, only a few thousand in circulation at the time

The '23 Nissan Z base model has always eluded me. To my knowledge, its only been in the Festival Playlist twice, last year, and both times I missed it due to a hospital stay the first time and then I can't remember what happened the second time, but it was still health related. I finally gave up on getting it through playlist so I bit the bullet and spent $20 Million credits to buy it. Then they released the Drift model. I was elated to have two different versions. Then three weeks ago, in the middle of playing, I got a pop up telling me that my game was invalid. I spent three hours trying to get it to work again, even calling customer service. In the end the only option I had was to delete my game from the cloud and start all over. So I'm back to hoping the Z is in the FPL soon.,

Sucks i cant get all 3 promo cars (already have the E-ray) bc im an OCD collector and not having these bothers the shit out of me. Of the oreo and controller car still worked if i got the codes for them, then i would say screw it and try getting th op gt from the event. But that isnt worth it since im missing 1 car from the general game that i want more than those 3.
