360Hz + Nvidia Reflex Latency Analyser = awesome? Asus Rog Swift PG259QNR review
This is a review of the Asus Rog Swift PG259QNR 360Hz, eSports gaming monitor. A tiny but powerful gaming screen with a multitude of features, the most interesting of which (to me) is the Nvidia Reflex Latency Analyser that's built into it.

great review, and appreciated effort keep up!
Thank you
I do agree on this monitor, it's a esports fps display with 360hz 1080p carrys a lot of horse power. I have asus rog PG329Q 32inch 175hz 1440p fast ips. I play rpgs and fps and for 700 dollars. It packs a punch
1440p is nicer imo but if you're all about the FPS then it's still a 1080p world.
@@TheProvokedPrawn well 1440p would help with viewing angles and clarity of picture for fps but you better have a good gpu and cpu to get high frames
@@TheProvokedPrawn I agree. Still loving my LG 32GK650F. It was on sale about two years ago for 290 euro. 1440P and 144 HZ is perfect imo.
@@TheProvokedPrawn hello, I don’t understand English, I’m going to buy an asus rog 360hz monitor, but I don’t know what reflex is? buy with reflex? or without reflex?
@@TheProvokedPrawn Possible to use the Reflex to help deduce how much USB hubs affect mouse and keyboard input latency? Doesn't seem like anyone has done great measurements on those and people wanna know :)
Hi, what does the gsync esports mode do? does it activate gsync even if gsync is disabled in nvidia control settings? also in the hud on the top right of your screen my mouse latency is 0.7 ms, how do I know my overall system latency? any other options to lower it as much as possible for cs2? also should I just keep my mouse plugged into the red usb port even when I'm not using the analyser function? any help will be very much appreciated.
Hello my favourite Provoked Prawn! I was just wondering, for the Asus PG259QNR. Did you notice that whenever you turn on the Asus PG259QN monitor, it always shows the "Republic of Gamers" logo and then the prompt that "DisplayPort" is plugged in before the screen switches to your desktop? Is this normal?
Alas I cannot recall I'm afraid
Hi what adaptor did u use? I have the same problem!
Im so stuck please help
with fortnite would you recommend I run gsync or fixed refresh with this monitor?
Thanks for the video. I have the same monitor but I do not see that gsync processor menu in the monitor settings. what to do? edit: nevermind I do not have the same screen. i got pg259qn
Deathadder v2 mouse supported for reflex analysis?
So the difference between PG259QN and PG259QNR is just that the PG259QNR you can see it and analyse it? Or does the PG259QNR have lower input lag than the other?
Probably lower
Has anyone tried this with the G303? The Nvidia website says that it supports reflex but it wont work on my PG259QNR monitor :/
Can someone help me troubleshoot this? I swore this worked before I moved and now it won't work
I have the exact same monitor but I can’t seem to get the low latency , I plugged in the two cables in the back of the monitor already
Well I run a direct die 11900K at 5.3Ghz all Core, and 3090 Kingpin OCed to 2.2Ghz/23GBPS memory. I think this would be a great option. I’m consider going down from 2560x1440P 165HZ.
did u get this monitor. how do u like it
@@parkerthompson368 did u got it?
Can we get all the features on this for Xbox
The monitor looks great on paper, ive been deciding what monitor to buy and i am still unsure if to go with a 360hz 1080p or a 1440p 144hz ultrawide
Go for a 240hz/360hz if you're into competitive gaming or else get the 1440p with 144hz or more.
@@jayt4225 what specs do i need for this monitor to run at 360? Got him today but got i5 last gen 2060 OC going to buy a new pc
@@dibumartinez4190 dibu lmk what u find out im trynna figure out if i should make the move and get a egpu setup for my old laptop : g63vr i think it has a 1080 in it but i wanna play csgo at 360 not sure what i need to upgrade in it... For now its xbox at 120 please lmk what u find out homie
You should also have Vsync on in NVCP while using Gsync and latency Ultra
What does gsync and vsync does?
my mouse latency is showing grayout in Performance overlay...same monitor, same mouse, rtx 3090Ti.. any idea why?
Is this monitor better than the Alienware one? Also does the asus 360hz have HDR?
They have the same panel
Nice monitor
How did you do that you have the nvidia reflex latency in the first tab? I only have ulmb options and can't even open it
Same, have u got a fix ?
@@krmawi7087 unfortunately not :(
@@ktosjakis5263 ok, to have that nvidia reflex latency option I guess u have to have that mouse, and in order to make the ulmb option work you have to go to 240hz.
Can I plug controller in?
I bought it today for my Sons. CSGO: BOOM headshoot! Go Go Go
Can this handle Minecraft Shaders??
That accent kid. The first 2 minutes i watched because i wanted to know about the monitor. The next 18 minutes was just to hear that beautiful voice.
Hopefully you enjoyed both.
I am going to buy this gaming monitor for CS:GO.
Sensible
@@TheProvokedPrawn what do you mean by "sensible"?
Do you still have your 2060 card?
For this I was using a 3060Ti
@@TheProvokedPrawn oh ok In one of your videos you had a 2060 and i was wondering if u still had it
Can't connect the smaller head cable at 6:55
Do i need a adapter for that?got no ports in the pc that connects
