  • This game made me feel confident about both teams. Titans did everything right on defense, a statement about both teams to be honest. They clearly have a well designed defense and a good DC, they are just missing the passing game. A good QB, and that team is deadly. As a chiefs fan, I was very pleased with how our defense played as well. Some miscues first half, but dang did we rally second half. Offense did good too, but we need to learn how to adjust and stay with what works. We tried to over complicate and it but us in the ass almost. Mad respect to titans. Hell of a game. He just undermined and wiped his aš$ with all the hard work the Titans defense did that game. He threw it all away. Just cause he wanted to be selfish and “get him one.” It was ridiculous the most selfish defensive play I’ve ever seen in the history of the sport. 3rd 9 game on the line he’s knows it’s man coverage no spy he’s been torching you by scrambling and scrambling only. To take that angle and go that wide was crazy. It was literally insane he did that. It’s almost like he was throwing the game it was awful. If I was his teammate I would’ve been tight smh.

Hurtz, Allen, whoever, it doesn't matter, Patrick Mahomes is MVP this year. His final drive, the 2 point conversion (he RAN for) to go to OT, it's his will to win, his ability to win. • Tennessee is always a tough game for the Chiefs. The Titans have some highly skilled people on D, and they pitch the Chief's O a fit. The Chiefs managed just enough offense to eventually get a W, but it really was the Chief's defense that made the difference. And it helped that the Titans failed to execute often. Lots of dropped balls, many on throws that were very catchable. Their back up QB, Willis, performed better than his numbers might indicate. The game was one of those where it is too bad someone has to take an L. Both teams put their all into this game. No one laid down or got down. A real nail biter that could have gone either way.

    • Bud Dupree going down in the 2nd half is what allowed Mahomes to find those running lanes late in the game. Dupree's inability to stay on the field hurts our pass rush every time he goes out.

    • Yep. I'm proud of my Titans for their grit, fight, tenacity and moxie. The loss stings cause for 2.5 qtrs it looked as though Tennessee had the game on their terms. The Titans must rectify their 2nd half struggles. Or great teams will eventually take advantage of the door the Titans keep leaving open. KC did exactly that last night.

  • Probably one of Mahomes' 5 best games of his career, in terms of putting the team on his back when they were getting outplayed. Usually comes down to his legs in those situations, which makes this year's playoff run that much more remarkable, since he theoretically didn't have that option. Used it at all the right moments, though.
