FORGING Engine Valve DAMASCUS

I have collected multiple scraped valves from different Engines of vehicles. Basically Valves are used inside engine cylinder fro admit air or expel exhaust gasses. So Mainly these are made of High carbon steel or Stainless steel. I collected some High carbon valves so it is a good choice for making Damascus Knife. I named this dagger "Autumn leaf dagger" because the pattern seems like fallen leaves on ground in autumn.

  • Hi, Came after long time with another amazing project of Forging Engine Valve Damascus Dagger. I collected some High carbon engine valves so it is a good choice for making Damascus Knife. I named this dagger "Autumn leaf dagger" because the pattern seems like fallen leaves on ground in autumn. 🍂🍁🗡 Hope you all like my effort, If so don't forget to like and share it. With the quality and beauty of the blades and forges you make it wouldn’t be any issue getting good money off of certain blades you would sell and just keep ones you want!

  • Dude, try to forge something out of a metal file. That 1095 steel is amazing. If possible, combining it with 5160 might make a nice Damascus blade. These two steels will most likely not disappoint!

    @peterelmo2181@peterelmo2181 Жыл бұрын
    • That is good choice of steels, But both steels are high in carbon content but poor in nickel so they are not gonna give a good contrast in Damascus as these steels are black after acid bath.

  • I bet alot of people in the comments want to know how you got so good at forging, the tools/resources used, who teached you about Blacksmithing and even how you come up with ways to do all this, like that amazing Captain America shield Thor's hammer among many things. If I ever found a blacksmith place in my state that does what you do I would want to make my own mjolnir but one small enough to use on a anvil. Blacksmith Joke: Hammer time. Thor joke: Here comes the boom.
