  • Stef has grown up a lot. It's good to see he's learned the right lessons from adversity. Always knew he'd be back in top 10 and slam contender again, but really nice to see the maturity. And also, that backhand is looking sharp! Down the line baby! Chin up to Casper, won over a lot of fans with his impressive win against Nole.

    • @@AlexandrawOfficial_Lexi if it’s true what he said at his press conference, that the stress of the situation and the feeling of unfair disadvantage caused the cramping than the mistake had a huge influence on the match. I love the way he took it, no complaints at all, no arguing with the umpire and he even accepted and said to the press that it’s a thing of the past and everyone can make mistakes, even himself. And he didn’t use it as an excuse before they asked about it, first he gave credit to Tsitsipas for playing well and fighting till the end. That’s unbelievable humbleness and he is a true gentleman, we can only admire his pure soul and personality. On the other hand if he protested and let some of the stress out instead of keeping it in himself, it could help him prevent the physical problems he had from that point. And even if he got angry at the umpire and showed some bad emotion we never saw from him, he could apologise after the match and keep his level of class in place. But once again, the way he took it and suffered from someone else’s terrible mistake is really admirable. Sometimes giving an example of uncompromisingly selfless behaviour is more than winning a match. His parents must be so proud of him not only as a sportsman. May the karma pay it back for him by winning the title in Rome which would be surely even more special for him than winning Monte Carlo.

    • @@janchevalier5613he should have stopped the point. The ball was 10cm out and everybody knew it was out. Past 20 years players take their responsibility when they think a ball is out, but now it seems they are losing this ability. Sinner didn't have the balls to stop the game and acquire the double break

I'm a Serbian and I support Novak naturally but I don't like how he behaves recently, I think it's his way to deal with his expected decline. I hope he'll be able to realise that and be more humble and grateful for the career he had. He should also apologise to Nardi publicly, the guy has his poster on the wall ffs. The man got to 3 slam final, 1 year-end final and 2 or 3 masters final, not to mention a few 500 tier finals, all without a win?!? That cannot be because he's ability to win, but must be something just don't click in his mind when comes in big tournament finals. He needs to do some mental training I think...

I need a different approach to big matches, fresh coaching and a mental coach too." Otherwise, his results will remain disappointing despite his talent and work ethic. Quello che tu dici invece dell'errore nel game del 3 set non era evidente e non decisivo per il risultato del match. Sinner è una persona fantastica perché seppur contrariato non si è ribellato. Tsitsipas non è stato onesto perché doveva fermarsi e dare la palla buona a Sinner. Lui non si comportato onestamente e non è stato sportivo. Che ti piaccia oppure no.
