They sparred way back in 2013 when Joshua was still amateur and Fury is on record saying that Joshua really impressed him and he will be one to watch in the future.

People think Fury and Usyk are the same😂. You lot just started watching boxing recently, styles make fights. Usyk is a awful style match up for anybody. Usyk is also much more skilled, slippery, much faster and more defensive sound than Tyson fury. Usyk does almost everything better than fury except rough house tactics and trash talk, plus fury is much bigger. Uysk is imo the most skilled HW atm. AJ would have a better chance of beating fury than he does Usyk, because AJ has always had success against taller fighters and fury is a big target, those combos AJ couldn’t land on Usyk will land on fury, especially if fury plans on being aggressive. The favorite is for sure fury but I wouldn’t be shocked at all if AJ pulls off the win.

I believe AJ can beat Fury I’m in minority but thing is as long as AJ gets stamina up he got punching power and Fury mouth will provide Joshua with all the aggression he needs. AJ will go all out in this fight plus Fury’s taller and I think Fury will take him for granted which works in Aj favor. Aj has problem with short fighters.
Fury will most likely win, but I believe it will be a much closer fight than Usyk - Aj and I think Fury will be knocked down at least once in the fight. I think this fight is much closer than what people think.

This is still a very good fight, AJ's last loss to usyk wasn't a bad loss, possibly the best version of aj we have ever seen, problem is it was against the master sensai usyk, Joshua's outburst at the end of the fight shows the passion and drive he still has for boxing, he will not want to experience this feeling again, I also believe aj preforms better against taller fighters, all things considered this is a huge fight probably the best hw match up in the division at the moment

@@1man1bike1road there's nothing embarrassing losing to a fighter of usyks calibre, especially when you consider joshua started boxing at 18, it's actually very impressive he managed to make it competitive at all, if you think being the bigger man against usyk means you should win then you are down playing the genius of usyk, it also means that most of the subtle things he does in the ring go straight over your head
That Joshua version sucks. He is a bigger man and couldnt impose his size in 24 rounds of boxing. He fought at the same distance in the two fights. Chisora did a better work knowing his limitarions putting constant pressure on Usyk.

Why are people talking about Joshua? He is now a contender. Like Ruiz, like Wilder, like Joyce, like Parker, and others who are top 10 without a title. Usyk and Fury have the belts, not Joshua or anyone else in the Heavyweight Division. At least not a belt that matters like Fiji Island Heavyweight Champion or German Champ or some place in the middle of no where champ. Joshua had nothing to put up and he hasn't earned his shot. I think the rematch clause was to guarantee Eddie Hearn would take it tbh… if AJ gets beaten convincingly Eddie knows the public will want the unification fight with Fury & Usyk, so he can activate the rematch clause & then demand step aside money… Hearn may be a lot of things but he’s no fool when it comes to making money…

Martin was a title fight and Breazeale was his first defense.. At the time Breazeale was undefeated and a big strong young guy, not a bad voluntary for a guy who only had 16 fights. Those "old men" AJ beat were top 10's and mandatory defenses, and Klitschko was a unification fight. Was AJ supposed to vacate his titles instead?
Martin won a vacant title because of an injury.. Plus it was only vacant due to Tyson being stripped unfairly!
