Brazil lost to Cameroon and have 4 players injured, 2 of them gone from the WC. Argentina looked inconsistent in the 2nd half against KSA and didnt look that hot until the 2nd half against Mexico. Getting cold out of nowhere in the knockouts can be deadly. France lost to Tunisia just like Brazil, but managed a commanding lead to the group, but with that many dark horse moments in the groups, its really anybody's game at this point

@@zikalokof1challenge414 technically it's more France C team, with so many of our top player out (Nkunku, Pogba, Kante, Kimpenbe, Benzema ...) due to injury a lot of them had to be replaced kinda last minute for other player that very rarelly play for the FFF and were not 1st pick. We still have a shit load of talent in our current team which is the reason we're able to perform and advance to the Finale phase. If France had their full effectif they would deffinetly be the N°1 pick in the final phase.
I know many people want Argentina or Brazil to win, but man, this tournament has been so full with surprises that I really want a new team to win. How amazing would that be to see a first time world cup winner.

The biggest problem with the US team is the fact that their best players aren't starters for their club teams so their fitness isn't great, with the games coming quicker and quicker and the way they need to play means it doesn't look good for their prospects.

The colonies adopted this word and started calling it soccer as well. Then, England changed it back without telling the colonies, so we kept on calling it soccer. USA are being aggressive and dominating the start as they have but I'm scared this won't carry through. Update a minute later: Netherlands score and Memphis depap as inspirational story with his name. Update 17 minute mark: Netherlands just shanked a shot. I wish the USA would shoot from range and just more overall as it is easier to play defense when you know the team does one strategy (getting in the box and crosses) which is being countered with great man to man defense. Van djik is a wall. A wall of Netherland pride and patriotism 😤. Edit: I am probably going to make spelling errors as I am traveling and watching the game while typing.
