how to make french toast Ingredients: 2 large eggs 1/2 cup milk (whole milk or half-and-half for richness) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 tablespoon granulated sugar Pinch of salt 4 slices of good quality bread (such as sourdough, challah, or banana bread) Butter or oil for cooking Toppings (maple syrup, fresh fruit, powdered sugar, whipped cream, etc.) Instructions: In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Heat a nonstick griddle or skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated. Place the coated bread slices on the griddle or skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides (about 2-3 minutes per side).
vanilla extract is optional
Use stale bread, it is better
What about French Fries? I had seen one at San Sebastian
Trench coat?
im gonna copy this and use it later thanks for the idea :)
8:27 Bandit : "stole 1 carrot" Empire of Nano : "That's it, I reach my limit" *Unleash Army*
That's the part that absolutely sent me Totally passive until they stole a focking carrot
Heck yeah, A Nano upload! Its fun to see you start off trying to be as peaceful as possible at the beginning then all chaos is let loose.
That's what the taste of power does to a man.😂
Italian nobles when they see a rival family built a tower bigger than theirs: 13:03
That explains San Gimignano....
@@Locahaskatexu Yes, Italian noble families used towers to show their power and influence, and they didn't really like when someone built a bigger tower. When that happened, they usually made the tower they already had higher, but when the governments started putting a limit on the length of the towers, the nobles just started building more lol

0:34 (People need basic needs) Nano: man, these guys want everything
1:52 So a Polish dev making a game set in German speaking lands (I think) writes a game with as much Frenchlish as he can and then makes the plebs speak English. Truly a diverse experience.
and the Bowmen are also an english thing. In Germany (or HRE) and other parts of Europe, the Crossbow were much more popular.
@@xSoulhunterDKx I'd be wary of being too broad there, though I do think you're broadly right to say that, at least by, say, the 1300-1400's, England stood out in Europe (though I don't know enough about eastern Europe at that time) when it came to investing in bowmen. There should 100% be crossbows in this game (there will be, don't worry) though; but I'm wondering how he's going to balance it. As far as I can tell, irl, the only real strengths that crossbows had over bows was that 1) someone with no training can learn to shoot powerful crossbows very quickly 2) crossbows *might* be better for shooting down from structures like castles. He could find ways of fitting that into the game, which could be cool. With a game like Manor lords he could even make that realistic and fun
@@tommeakin1732 Overall yes you are correct in your assumptions. As i'm sure you probably know, the main reason English long bowmen were so effective is because they trained from young ages to shoot the bow, and could fire off many more shots than a man with a crossbow could. This proved especially useful in battle such as King Henry V''s battle at Agincourt. Overall, crossbows are often a much better and cheaper choice, although they can be heavy. The crossbows take a while to load, however once loaded, an archer could pop up above the wall, take aim and fire, however having your men get tired while firing volleys of arrows is much less preferred to having your soldiers able to launch relatively precise bolts from a crossbow. Atop castle walls, (And this is perhaps where game play could come into effect), crossbows were much preferred over bows, because Bows typically can fire long range well, while short range the accuracy and rate of fire can dramatically decrease. Not to mention atop the walls bows often could be difficult to maneuver. Crossbows were great at shorter ranges, and well fit to be maneuverable, which along with not much training, relatively cheap costs, while still packing a punch made the crossbow so much more popular, especially in Non-English Europe Both are great, and if Manor Lords receives a castle update, I would hope we could switch our soldiers to be outfitted with bows or crossbows, each having significant benefits and drawbacks. Love this game!
Just because i grew as a farmer... 2:36 YES @Nano, rain forest are BAD for farming. Rainforest soil is typically poor in nutrients and minerals because they are stored in the plants. When plants die, they decay very quickly and their nutrients are picked up again by the living vegetation. Nutrient cycling occurs rapidly in rainforests, leading to poor soils.
Non-tropical forests can indeed have thick, rich soils and the game is probably not depicting a rain forest in medieval times, so it depends. While the soils are poor under tropical forests, cutting and burning them usually gives a couple years of decent crop growth plus the one-time timber sell. Thus, growing families cut down more forest each year until it's gone. The Amazon will not last another human lifetime; decades or centuries of conservation can be undone in 3 years so all you need is one bad politician to ruin it all and destroy indigenous communities as well (see current Brazil).
"...As a result, during the period 1750-1850 forests in Central Europe had been decimated, causing a serious lack of timber. Some contemporary reports even spoke partly of desert-like landscapes at that time." ... it doesnt sound like a good soil for me bro... is central europe, and i dont see that they used that land with crops again...
I had no Idea. Manor Lords devs > Me. Thanks for the correction!
@@Nanoytgaming Are you the real Nano?? Jaja thanks. Keep uploading ur the funniest guy, go back to squad too
@@TheCharkan Errosion is also a major concern when forests are cut down.

I love how Spiffing Brit tried so hard and was too successful where he didn't know what to do with his abundance of money and resources. Ambiguous Amphibian tried so hard and after much struggle succeeded despite his limited learning capacity... Hi Thomas..

Hello Thomas
Hi Thomas
If anyone's radically obsessed with hardcore Medieval warfare and society I strongly recommend Schwerpunkt's videos series
"Four more houses...I wish my government would do this." That one hit hard.
I love the massive cluster of towers on the pan-out of Nano's capital at the end
How many towers do you want? Nano: Yes
Do you know how you can build so many? Normally you can only do 1 per place
Just to heads up: "Immenreuth" [as seen in 4:28] is a little town in my near. I am really proud that the game includes our little towns ^^
My cousin got a trucker game for his birthday. He was so excited that the roads and cities were all realistic. Even our tiny town in Minnesota with a population of 1300 was included. The buildings even look pretty close. Wild stuff
It was so well edited that I watched it twice after the beginning. I hope we will see more. You rock
Possibly one of the best videos, love this

"Giant army of 324 men" *laughs in Total War*
In Total War, this entire town is just 1 build slot representing a lv1 settlement, so the entire map would count as 1 single settlement. Having 324 foot knights is impressive.
@@charlesc.9012 Honestly yeah 😂that's a whole unit or two in total war, foot knights get expensive.
I think That was actually Muzan Jackson 😁

Love your work man.
As Kleaper can confirm, the game does surprisingly well with over 1000 units rendered at once. The AI, however, doesn't fair so well.
0:33 In this economy? You can't have all three.
That traumatized bandit was fun as hell xD

Sir Nano, your commentary is hilarious!
When you mustered that army of 324, it looked like a horde of ants. 😆
Can't wait for this game to release!
Helped you on the Discord, glad I'm seeing the gameplay now!

Imagine having to supply that army! That would be amazing! You'd need to have a huge logistics system and camp!
Nano! I didn't even know you are a game-breaking gamer, too.
I cant wait for the mods of this. Imagine a medieval Japan, native American tribes, greek city states. The potential is staggering
Its cool that you can zoom in and walk around the town. Thats a feature I've been wanting in civ building games since like.... Stronghold
Sorry sir, far too advanced, no one could ever develop something that complicated. Maybe a AAAA developer but no less.

I'm struggling to keep an army the size of 10 (can't build up enough regional wealth for equipment imports, can't accumulate enough treasury through tax) and this guy is having an actual 500 strong army at his disposal.
oh my god nano haw ive missed your vids gald to find you again oh my god
i can't wait to play this masterpiece
Nano has become Spiffing Porto
I have a love hate relationship with bandits. Literally build a large town with a large farm make lots of wheat for the first two years sell most of it. Hire mercenaries smash the brigands quickly before their first raid. Then deal with the other lords army use influence from killing brigands to expand territory for the other resources you don’t have enjoy.
i still play the games demo its soo much fun , I am gonna grind this game when it comes out
Towards the end bro had 50k in the bank and like 4 days of food. xD

We’ve seen it here. Susan the 12th century medieval peasant was the first to invent the Moon Walk. HE HE
Would be fire to create a series about this
This is a masterpiece
Fr
Susan wasn't crying because her husband would die. She was crying because her husband multiplied into 15 husbands when towers were built.
What a good video, I don't speak English but these videos are very good and entertaining to watch and I try to understand with my low level of English, however good video you are great. 😎
Imagine if future Total War games started to shamelessly copy the dynamic battle system of Manor Lords. Apparently every archer is a separate person that can fire arrows regardless of formation and the mass combat is perhaps the most detailed I've seen in a game. And Total War style battles aren't even the main focus. Simply amazing!
They need a game like this for imperial Japan!
A question how long did it take in hours to get so far? Love ur vids!
This game looks so good!
the "thomas" easter egg was dope!
My Lord, House Nano hath Summoned The Royal Yeoman Regiment! Dear God. Sir, They’ll Trample The Fields, We’ll never Farm again! Dear God!
All that comes to mind is that Poverty and Famine song in Kingdom Come Deliverance as the town is set ablaze. Sadly I think a lot of the more absurd game exploits like spamming towers and arbitrage while trading will be removed before we get our hands on it. Would be nice if they make a way for us to play the pre release version so we can do this stuff too.
"I wonder if what I'm doing will cause property line disputes, in like, 500 years." Lol! Yes. Yes it will.

12:41 New York in August 1969 Like Nano, it did get more soldiers enlisted in the war.... Unlike Nano, they later regretted adding more towers.
Nice video
Hell yeah
Great stuff
This could be a fun mechanic if the towers cost periodic upkeep from personal treasury.
thanks funny love it
Had a really good laugh!
Manor Lords can copy the "Stealing Resource" mechanics from games like Kenshi for example. In that the NPCs have to physically travel from their spawn location to your base/town + go thru your defenses (if you have any) before they reach your food storage whilst giving you a warning about their impending arrival, such as giving time for the player to initiate/de-escalate a conflict thru dialogue. Or, they can be just like those Black Dragon Ninja shitheads, where they will just head straight for your food storage 😂.
