i used to do them like a activity while my bunker and acid lab made money, easy to make a million this way, add to that the nigthclub and the autoshop and with no effort i make like 10 millions per week, if i do heists is even more money

You can literally benefit more if you already have the car itself, as you can sell your original one for more than what they pay you in the salvage yard.@@isaac1374

Went from C-tier business to S-tier imo, the business pays for itself after claiming a few expensive cars. The claim car feature only sucks if you already own every claimable vehicle for weeks on end

I was expecting some kind of throwback from this. Its Rockstar we’re talking about here. But still I’m impressed that the car just costs 20k to claim, I was expecting just a small discount on the real price and that’s it

I held off on getting the Salvage Yard til this feature became available and the heist to get the Phister S2 is the 1st Salvage Yard heist I did and it makes this car all the more special and sentimental for it, it will be a standout in my collection as I never owned it and i work put in to aquiring it will also be memorable. Also has that unique Las Venturas license plate too... One of a kind 👌
I thought we are gonna buy the all cars we stole 😢

Currently on PC the special plates are bugged and will revert to a default plate after restarting the game. I would suggest holding onto the car until it's hopefully fixed if you're wanting to keep the special plates.
Folks always have to complain about not every car being able to claim. Be thankful you get one car, they could have chosen not to do this at all.
Yeah this is a pretty well balanced feature imo which is rare for R*, not perfect but it's pretty dang good
So in your case we should be "thankful" that we cannot get 1st Tony McTony's car along with Christmas versions that came out months ago.
@@SeriousDragonify I will be the first one to point out and criticize the mistakes that Rockstar have, and has made. But I am starting to find out that people are being ungrateful and hard to please. It’s like the spoiled kid whose parents buy him/her a burger and fries from McDonald’s, and instead of being thankful, they get mad because they didn’t get nuggets and a shake. To some folks, it wouldn’t matter if Rockstar made everything free in game, they would still complain about something.
@@brimstonethewolf2020 It's not exactly "free" when servers be shut down after years and realize where you wasted your time whole life. Free would mean owning in main game you bought. You clearly dont know meaning of "free" and complaints.

Rockstar doesn’t charge people for DLC’s but they make up for that with high in game prices to boost sharkcard sells. My point is clear, people will complain about something, no matter what it is. I guess I was raised to be thankful and respectful.

For what you earn, not worth buying the forgery just for that. If you already own one, you save 10k. don't buy the forgery just for those 10k though, you will not get your money back! I have been waiting for a property discount forever to buy the forgery office and weed farm. I will most likely never use them or even set them up, but I need to sync them up with my nightclub.

Right now if you're a PC player there's a bug, so if you wanna keep the plate, don't claim it yet.... Not sure if that's on consoles or not..

I hope they always make it the more expensive cars we can claim and putting good cars up to steal. Now i do wish we could claim past cars but ofc we cant so yay selling
I'm cool with only being able to claim one of the three cars, but it would have been nice if we could choose which one we want to claim.
Massive fan of this feature. It finally puts the “grand theft auto” into the game properly. Even though the missions became a bit repetetive before this feature came through I love the concept of hopping in every week to plan and do a heist where my reward is a new car to my collection. I probably won’t even visually customize these even though at least this S2 Cabrio looks a bit goofy. Still gotta agree with the others that they could at least give us the option to choose one. But at least something is better than nothing.
I had one in each of my characters garages. So for $30k each (plus mods) i was able to replace them and sell my old ones for $1.2+ million each! That's what i do with Casino and Prize Rides too, lol.
If anyone didn’t notice. This cabrio version doesn’t have “vehicle stance default/lowered” iam guessing it’s because we can claim it. All the tuners vehicles have a option for that, and still can lower it more at mod shop. (Tuner dlc) The Dinka* Postlude (criminal enterprise). Has a option to lower stance through interaction too, but why? It’s not part of the “tuner dlc”. Same thing for the Dinka Kanjo SJ, it’s not from tuner dlc, and it also has stance lowered in interaction
I bought the s2 cabrio yesterday for 20k and customized it the same way DCA did in his video
I think its a cool feature mainly because of the exclusive license plate. I'll probably fill a garage with these new claimable vehicles.
I maxed out my ceo office garage with free cars from podium, gta+, and the casino wheel. Starting to fill up my nightclub garage now lol

It would've been great that you at lesst could pick the car you wanna keep. An actually, putting a requirement to get all the cars before picking one, would've been a good way to motovate people to play with the DLC content, and make it more engaging, but well, would've been exhausting aswell
If only I could buy that gold Thrax I have in my shop right now (I guess you wanted it as well) instead but this is a very very pleasant surprise. You can make 20k in game by basically blinking. I never bought the doc forgery business and never will.

For the people who don’t know… the documentary forgery still makes no sense to get, as if in a MC Club will be taxed out the ahss for having all MC Businesses in the long run, so you’d be better off not buying it and paying the 20K every time you want to claim a car instead of the other way around
I my OG one for a mil plus bought this and put it right in its place even after upgrades I still was plus 1.1 mil
I glitched out of the submarine at the end and couldn't complete the mission I was so pissed 😂
Goddammit it has never hurt more to not be able to play GTA cause when I get over it it pulls me back in. This is a great addition even if in the future it's meh vehicles.
Well technically its costing you around $400,000 since that's what you are sacrificing in not selling it. That being said, you should get around $200,000 in resale value, so Rockstar gone done us dirty from that perspective. But still a great value car.
Most of us were expecting a small discount even after doing the missions so there's nothing to complain about.
I was was trying to lose cops like 20 minutes in this thing, it was so shot up that I got message that retrieving car failed 😄🤣😄 Now I have to redo this again

R* PLZ.. claimed the Comet S2 Cabrio with the special Plate.. was happy.. tuned it my style and noticed after that the Las Venturas plate was replaced with a regular one.. damnit nothing works in this game properly

you can keep 4, from 4 miniheists, but you must sell them to put more in there, thr garage can keep temporarily one car near the door

Towing cars is actually relaxing af. I am semi-retired and the business is a great endgame addition. It also generates passive income, but the safe works like nightclub popularity.
Please, you know they barely do business discounts anymore. Since December, there have only been two discounts: auto shop and the arcade.
Is there a way to keep the plate background but revert the text back to standard text? I would prefer the plate not to say random word so it looks more standard

How are they confused? Just go over to the car when you have it and buy it lol it's not that hard
Be aware that you have to keep the robbed car if you want the licence plate. You can't choose it for any other car in LSC🤷♂️

The price is only about 20k?? I thought I wouldn't care about this because I thought it'd be like maybe 600k or more if they were feeling a little generous. Might actually get back into the salvage yard

So basically you do all the work for the salvage yard. And instead of making the few hundred thousands you would get from salvaging/ selling the car now you make $0 but get the car? So basically the car is just heavily discounted since you don’t make the (lets say) $450,000 you would get from selling the car?
No really since you don't lose money besides the 20K, same thing with the weekly free car in the LSCM. And if you were to sell it nothing would stop you from buying other things with the money.

rockstar is really weird,.. they most of the time disappoints us but occasionally they add something really nice like this one..
How to fix the convertible issue? It always spawns with the top down when you call it. Tried saving it & driving in/out of garage. It’s annoying.

The best way to make money with this business if you own one of the stolen cars mod it to what you want and sell the one you bought and you get a few million back and get to keep the car
