There won’t be a heist for a year and you’ll only be allowed to do it once a month. Seems like the new scrap yard is the new heist. Mini trash heists that are capped for the week

Been trying to decide if I should get a next generation console or just quit gaming all together. Noticing all the ways the gaming industry is changing is making me feel like it's not worth it. Gamers who remember when sequels were released every year and us who remember what gaming was before microtransactions know exactly what I mean.
Yeah man, I was at that crossroads too. I only recently got back into online again after like 7 years. I was thinking about getting a ps5 but I bought the game for pc instead. My reasoning was that there's no monthly subscription to play online. I'm happy with my decision though. Really enjoy the game and I play solo anyways. All the best man
Sadly, it doesn't matter how we feel about it. R* keeps making questionable changes to the game, and it's still as popular as ever. The mobile game industry is inundated with ""free" games that charge 100 dollars for items that are worth 30 seconds of your time (so-called time-savers). And people not only buy it, they defend it. Any sociopath leading any company under these conditions sees a great potential to cash in on people's addiction and/or poor judgment. They're normalizing this behavior. I'm not as excited for GTA 6 any longer, but do you think they'll make any less money because of that?? We're doomed =)

If doing this results in a little bit more money before gta6, why wouldn't they. They care about money. If there's flaws, but they still get billions, they might not rush to get the flaws

I mean I understand why, because I personally don’t like the glitching ways people use to sell cars and make lots of money. But on the flip side, regular guys like me who don’t glitch anything whatsoever, am forced to deal with this nonsense. I blame rockstar, but mostly I blame the people who glitch 20 deluxos so they can mass sell them. If it wasn’t for those guys, this would have most likely never happened. I realize how much of an unpopular comment this is going to be because people love to glitch, but this isn’t the first time rockstar has had to make in game changes because of people using exploits. Now we all suffer because of these glitchers.
You can't expect me not to do glitches when Rockstar started overpricing everything so we are forced to buy more shark cards or spend hours grinding just to end up losing it all to some bs or buying one car and becoming broke again. Imo its on them.

Aside from selling personal cars. I find the most easy way to make money in Gta V is playing the Chop Shop Dlc missions. If you do all three weekly missions and you get money from all your business safes you can earn quite a chunk of change. What you have to do though is reframe from buying every single new Dlc car buy only the ones you enjoy and leave the rest. Trust me your money will build up over time.
Yeah but if you do all that the game becomes more like a real life job which shouldn’t be the case, most of people want to have fun and enjoy the game for a couple hours a week
I noticed this earlier..I was wondering why my car I wanted to get rid of ending up being 56.000. When it usually is around 200000. Yeah good job rockstar again screwing up everything. No wonder people cheat and glitch.
They should have just done this for people selling the same model of car, say if you were to sell only deluxos they get the reduced price. This just makes it worse for people who just want to earn a bit more money or clean out their garages.

When i first heard about this change coming i made sure to sell all of my cars that needed selling
Had no idea this was a thing and decided today to sell some stuff I don’t need to make some money , I sold the Tula plane for normal price, then I sold the cyclone and thought this is weird I thought I woulda got more money, after that I sold the unmarked cruiser and realized the sell price was like 500000 after I already sold it, never thought rockstar would’ve done this I legitimately buy all my vehicles and it’s screwed up to make these changes 10 years later unannounced

Got to make changes in my low-level grind path. I would use the wave method I found on a different KZhead channel. Get VIP and run vip jobs like “headhunter” and “haulage”. During cool-down run a client job or steal and sell a car every 48 minutes. Bonus money if you out live the bounty put on you by npc’s. Anyway I am not low level anymore and I will leave these alone.
So...I have a couple of Deluxos from years ago just collecting dust. Did those sell prices get shafted as well? (I don't feel like going through the trouble of redownloading the whole game just to check it.)

They should made that if you buy a vehicle for one 1mil, then if you wanna sell it you would get 1mil for the first sell The second sell should be 500k Third 250k And fourth 125k For example a more expensive vehicle like the Deluxo You buy the car for 5.750.000 1.sell is gonna be 5.750.000 2. Sell is gonna be at 2.875.000 3.sell is gonna be at 1.437.500 4sell is 718.750 Or they should just remove the daily sell limit if they gonna keep this shit

PLEASE READ Before everybody gets all pissed off. Which is probably too late but here is the reasoning I think they did this. I am part of a subreddit where people trade cars because of the new specification system that they got at the ls car meet people looking for removed cars stuff like that. I came across so many people that had garages and garages full of deluxos that were only making money through hitting the daily sell limit and not actually playing the goddamn game. I believe this is why they started doing this so people will actually play the game instead of just selling duplicate cars.

And this isn’t targeted toward modders because they already have the daily sell limit and modded accounts meaning anyone who sells a lot of cars already can’t sell more than one a day anyway so that literally doesn’t matter anymore and modded accounts have no need to sell cars, literally the only person this effects is the average player who doesn’t mod, they’re the ones who need the money from selling their cars

Negative there sir !!! That won't change one bit ! Reason is the rule only applies to PERSONAL Vehicles. If you steal a car off the street you can sell it for it's full value every 48 IRL minutes. Now if you choose to insure and install tracker it becomes a Personal Vehicle Seriously, who needs to sell a Personal vehicle that often? Only time I worry about is is when garage starts to get full, but that happens gradually so just pay attention and you will be fine.

So they finally made that change, though they randomly implemented it at the end of an event week instead of tomorrow at the start of one. Like in the video, I question why now instead of years ago to do this other than just as a beta test for VI. I know this is a last resort against glitchers and R* tried to combat it so long, but I feel it’s to late to implement this now.
I glitch for my money because Rockstar makes it insanely difficult for casual players like my self to earn enough in game currency for my tight schedule. Its rockstars responsibly to adjust the in game economy back to a natural state not the consumers plus the game is litterly 10 years old now and at end life cycle a few glitches here and there will not affect the regular consumer its just a exuse for Shark Card sales out of company greed

I've never had to need to rapidly sell any of my personal vehicles, if space starts getting tight just sell one a day and replace as needed. This sucks. I’ve been getting really into buying Bennys and f1 wheel cars from the car meet and selling the old versions of these cars. It’s glitching but it isn’t glitching to make money. So this just sucks for no reason. I was already taking the hit on the 40% value thing you mentioned when you sell at all. Not to even mention, when you buy a car from someone at the meet you’re paying for every penny they spent on that build. So annoying.

They make those changes because people spend all their time glitching and hacking, and taking advantage of all the features it has to offer to make as much profit for themselves with as little effort as possible. In gta 6 we probably won’t even be able to sell cars at all.
