Also, Tate being extremely polite throughout and at the end, acknowledging the announcer, walking over the opposing corner, acknowledging his opponent and Ernesto.   • I've been watching a lot of Tate fights lately. He has a mean left jab and circles to get bodyshots in. His kicks are really his weakest point. The way to counter a lanky opponent like Tate is to lift your left knee up and when it comes down come in with the overhand right or else Tate will just jab you to eternity.

  • Boxers reacting like they dont understand that kicks hurt 20 times more than punches, any gaps you see in his defense are covered by counter attacks by kicks, thats why even in range the one that keeps coveing his face doesnt try to attack those opening, because he himself is at risk, its not only 2 fists like in boxing, its 2 fists, 2 elbows, 2 knees, 2 feet, using all of dose ofcorse his boxing wont look as explosive/flashy, because all the coordination you use, its like ufc, punches are like 15%, grappling and kicks are way more effective in ufc, its the same

  • If Tate was fighting a really good counterstrike, or he would get knocked out quick. He has no guard but he made up for it with his offence and stay busy. I definitely give The Guy credit bud to do what he did takes a lot of hard work and dedication so I can’t take that away from you but I just can’t put them up there with the best Kickboxers in the world at all like I’ve seen better strikers, and amateur competitions that I fought in.
