    • What about the many people who have been in a ring, and those who have been in gyms, and those who have been in street fights? Why do people take stock in this world champ nonsense. If someone had a sanctioned promotion for backyard boxing, and they called their champion a "world" champion, would you hold them in such high regard?

  • 99.99% of ppl on this planet will never ever get to any level of kick boxing fighting the most rookiest novice let alone professional kick boxers like Tate is. Massive respects to Tate to achieve this level of athletic excellence being less than 30 years old. He literally achieved something less than .01% of the population will ever achieve.

  • He has such a strange style but if it wins in the ring that’s all that matters. I train and amateur fight Muay Thai and I know for sure that it doesn’t matter how petty the job gets done as long as… it gets done. I’ve won most of my fights by just being the netter man at the basics and having better endgame than my opponent. Tater style is very “lazy” almost looking, hands low, and head high. I see a lot of possible openings but hey… if nobody snagged the openings then it worked for Tate. Wins are wins. 👍👍

  • I actually am an amateur kickboxer and just stating facts here. He's not bad but his style wouldn't hold up in the higher levels of the sport he's just a bit slower than guys his weight and his defense isn't great. He wouldn't Crack the top 15 in and respectable kickboxing organization or the ufc. That's not a diss He certainly has all the tools to be competitive at the higher levels just don't think he can be a top guy. Respect nonetheless for anyone that'll get in the ring at any level it takes a different kind of person to deal with that pressure that you can't comprehend unless you've done it.
