Orange Boxx Fabrication FJ Cruiser Panels Part 2 // Plus A Giveaway!

Orange Boxx Fabrication sent me some new and upgraded panels for my Toyota FJ Cruiser which I'm pretty excited about. These Molle type panels are really useful for storing miscellaneous items up and out of the way!   • I don't think I have ever dealt with a worse company than Orange Boxx. They took nearly a year to repair a slider they welded together wrong and left a hole in the weld that was dripping water when it showed up. When I asked for a copy of installation instructions to make sure I was not the one making the mistake the owner of the company proceeded to insult and belittle me for not being able to figure it out on my own, when it wound up being his lack of welding ability that caused the problem, not me. They did not reprime or repaint the slider despite paying for it. I won't even put them on my truck despite dropping over $700 on them because the booger welds are just embarrassing if someone looks at it up close. The interior cargo panels I ordered came with Delrin risers that they drilled crooked, and off center so bad I had to make my own.

  • I dig the new fold down style PSD for the dash. I may need to upgrade my current set up... I had the table that can hook onto the old style it but lost it 🤦‍♂️. Great stuff, and of coarse another great vid🍿🧈😎! Good luck to those that are going for the give away!

  • Great video! You might want to install the FJ cruiser panel. It likely ties in all 4 corners together and shifts part of the load from the door to the panel system adding strength to it.

    • I considered that, but there's normally a spare tire hanging there, so it's pretty strong. The main issue I saw with the plate is that it ate up too much of the threads on the already short studs. Plus I was a little uneasy about putting an an almost solid steel plate up against the back door. Dirt and salt and water getting trapped in there doesn't seem good.

  • Ken I think you should put the FJ Cruiser plate behind the Orange plate you put on. Really think it would look good. Just my 2 cents. Love the videos keep it up 👍

    • It would look good. But, I decided not to for two reasons, the threads are pretty short, and I don't think I'd want salt and dirt and everything else getting trapped behind it.
