    • well honestly,I dont know if you've ever actually struggled for food before. Not too many humans have these days. But if you have ever went a few days without food, somthing as simple as a potato will have you crying tears of joy. It's not even on the same level as going to a fancy resturant. It's complete bliss thats only comparable to heroin or other hard drugs. It really is that good.

  • In the pacific we also eat the taro leaves, we put coconut cream with lamb and vegetables and to cook we usually steamed or baked

  • You know, I watched one video of Eds and Im addicted..I actually like this guy a bit more than Bear Grylls, Ed seems more like if a real person were stranded..not a professional who doesnt seem really bothered by it...oh this happened? just do this, Boom Saved...Ed suffers I like that, as bad as it sounds...

  • Taro is delicious, especially with a sauce made of olive oil, lots of minced garlic , and a squirt of lemon juice. Just warm the sauce until you can smell the garlic. It's good on Yucca too.

  • I thought his sail was laughable because it cant turn to catch wind at different directions or be put down, at some point it will become more of a drag pushing him in all the ways he doesn’t wanna go..... just needs some sailing knowledge to go with his survival skills.

  • I really don’t think Ed Stafford is out on the open ocean by himself on a little raft thing it would be far too dangerous! What if the raft came apart and he had nothing? I don’t think the discovery channel would let him put himself in such danger on their own program you know.

    • This specific show is more of a survival-ish one where certain things are presented to them in a way that you could potentially (rarely) find them in a survival situation. Basically so that the race can continue in a more fair manner since they both get the same benefits. It’s more of a for fun show than an actual survival show like he has done in the past
