I recently learned from the loading screen tip that we can press the grip button on an item and scroll up and down with the joystick to specify the amount we want to pick up
Into the radius 2 early access is coming on steam soon
Spectral games just (3 hours ago) dropped a new video teasing another patch coming soon.
Everything I've learned about the game so far: - most buildings, tools, etc will be unlocked through story progression or by crafting a previous item. The rest (mostly cosmetic) can be purchased. - tree stumps can be chopped for an extra log - trees stumps and large rocks need to be removed before placing a building. Buildings can be placed on any relatively level ground, and even that has a lot of leniency. I build my house on the edge of a hill and it built up a foundation that was 8 to 10 ft high on the one side. If it's not letting you build, there's probably something in the way that needs to be destroyed. I also haven't tried building outside of the building area indicated when you first choose your home location. - to select a specific number of items from a pack or chest, you press the grab button over the item and in that second before it grabs all, you push down on that controller's joystick until you get to the number you want. - you make rope inside the hunting lodge - you don't need to worry about crafting arrows. Just draw the bow - in the experience and progression in your journal, there is a skill tree next to the progressionally unlocked skills that you may already have points for. - on the right side of your Journal are two tabs. One lets you move furniture around your house, the other one lets you destroy structures you've built(one of the skills in the tree lets you get back your materials when destroying something). - bring a shovel with you when you go into the mine beside town. A story mission will take you there at some point. -I usually save right before placing a building just incase it doesn't land right. - one reason you're so heavy is all of that leather you're carrying. You'll get a lot of it hunting and have no use early game(i dont even know if it has a use late game. I haven't found one yet.) So it accumulates pretty quickly. -pigs are asshloes
One thing I forgot, when building a house you can change type of materials used and add a window by clicking the arrows on each individual wall before you hit it with the hammer.
Very nicely done!
Fantastic collection of tips! Thanks!
I made my first copper ingot then I killed I think it was a buffalo or something like that 3 hits you’re done
The farther you get the quests starts bugging out bad
Chop your stumps for extra 2 logs
Nice! Is it like in the flat version where doing so means no regrowth?
Great tip! I think you, or someone mentioned it before, but I forgot :::)
I’m sure you’ve figured it out by now, but when chopping wood, as the tree begins to fall, continue to hit the tree with your axe. It’ll break into pieces midair… with your other controller just press the trigger and grab the logs as they’re falling…. There’s no reason to pick up resources the way you are 😂 use your trigger.
Immersion is the reason! But yes, there are easier ways :::)
