The BEST VR Open World, Survival, RPG on Meta Quest // Medieval Dynasty New Settlement Review
Medieval Dynasty New Settlement has launched for all Meta Quest platforms including Quest 2 & 3. This game although released in a buggy state and at times janky has a lot of potential. It's a survival VR game, Open World, action-adventure, sandbox, and simulator.
Considering the game is developed by a small indie VR team this is already on pace to become one of my favorite games on Quest. It caught me by surprise as I had no expectations or hype leading up to this launch.

Thank you for playing!
Devs in da house! :P I stumbled upon this game a couple of days ago because someone in the chat mentioned it during a Virtual Strangers podcast. Looks promising but it looks like it would shine on PSVR2 and PCVR. Any plans for that? Great job nevertheless.
@@staffanstuff We'd love to bring it to more VR platforms in the future!
@@spectralgamesvr Cool! I hope you succeed.
@@spectralgamesvr this doesn't sound like its gonna be on pcvr. It needs a graphic upgrade, the games ok but i reckon it would get old quick 😕 the lack of shadows and shaders is understandable for quest but this needs a pc and psvr 2 release. The market is huge on quest so i get why you want it there first, however if its gonna be make money then leave like the rest it doesn't surprise me. This aint a dig just making an observation
I squeeled like a little girl. I’ve been waiting for years for a good VR survival / adventure! Song in the Smoke and h Green Hell were great, but this looks like another step up. Thanks for your review. Buying immediately.
Thanks for this, it's going on my wishlist now to buy later.
Awesome review👍 Thought, you had way more subs
Thanks, I appreciate that!
Good video. I’m gonna wait for the quest 3 update and hopefully they add coop to it like they did on the flat screen version.
Yeah the Dynasty games are very good simple but very good gameplay. I got my fingers crossed they bring Farming Dynasty to VR as well as nobody’s really done a good VR farming Sim yet. I asked the developer a while back and they contemplating it basically I guess off the back of how successful this one is on meta.
Thank ya for your guide, I'm now going to get it
let me know what you think of the game after you try it out
So it's like those 30 fps nextgen titles?
When it comes out with a proper Quest 3 enhancement I'll def give this a go. Same goes with Asgard's Wrath 2, which I refuse to play until it gets a final Q3 update, hopefully later this month.
Maybe what I was looking for!
Think ill be trying this out not that fussed about graphics for me game player always come first :)
Hi again! Quick question - we're making a review-filled trailer for our game, would you be okay by any chance with us featuring a fragment of this video of yours with credits? No guarantees it'd make the final cut, but we'd want to feature this part -> 2:59-3:08 🤗
Yep, perfectly fine with me
@@sixtacos Thanks!

Wait, 36hz?!?!?!
It’s definitely on my buy list but not at full price. They want too much imo.
Referral codes with 25% off usually help ease the process and a website like Meta dog lets you get one for virtually any game.
no AppSW: no grass, nor heavy foliage, nor tree shadows... probably smaller view distance too. So, graphics are "meh" imagine without it... it's easy to spin out again that slow low-g puzzle game room by room with no characters nor grass to boast about graphics, but that's not possible in bigger games with lots going on. AppSW doesn't generate quite "fake frames". Game logic and input are still normal framerate. It just spares battery and GPU by generating intermediary in-between frames from motion vectors for cheap compared to full render.
- I see grass and foliage? - View distance seems decent enough considering the device? - As with any game, graphics are not as important as smooth or fun gameplay, when you eventually grow up you will come to understand this - You're welcome to try and make a VR game for a glorified mobile phone yourself, go ahead and show us all how you are gods gift to VR game development?
@@suicidalbanananana how about you learn to read? I was saying if there was no AppSW, none of that would be in.
Just play repossessed
