  • I have always admired Rose Namajunas's skills and heart and for this fight she will need both. Page Van Zant's strategy is putting a pace on Rose. If Rose is in shape I see her winning by submission in round 2. If she wilts than I see Page taking her out in the last round. Hard to predict. This could be fight of the night.

  • I love Rose and this Womens Straw weight division. I rank it ahead of Womens Bantamweight and Mens Fly and Bantamweight. Maybe even lightweight at this point.

  • Rose opponents have a combined record of 63-30 (if you count her Amateur fights and the UFC Reality Show) ... Paige opponents have a combined record of 31-18, including her 1 Amateur fight. As well, Rose has fought 4 UFC Top 10 Ranked Strawweight opponents and Paige has fought None. Rose wins this fight ... more overall experience and fought much tougher competition!

  • Thats the way society is now a days? Like womens hair is a new focus? I guess that is what it is to be so young. Does she know that people watch/buy tickets to see two "cute" girls fight? Does she realise that she is a prize fighter and the money is why she is there? Reducing her visual appeal affects her earnings?

Ofcourse, this also works as a great promo against someone who has a reebotch deal just because she's "cute" in some people's eyes. This has worked in her favor and her stock will rise a lot more when she derails the hype train vanzant.
