I see it being much more one sided than Karolina vs Rose. Rose was a better distance striker than Karolina, she was more accurate and sharp, but got annihilated in the clinch. I see Joanna beating Rose in every area, but Rose should be able to pick some clean shots throughout the fight.
Rose is a very evolved fighter since Karolina. Some fighters do grow from losses & there's nothing about her performances since to make me question her growth. Plus, I believe she has the right mix of assets/skills to beat JJ by giving her a very difficult time. I pick Rose to win.
I totally think Rose would have won that fight if she'd avoided the clinch. It was a tactical error on her part. Unfortunatly, she will lose against JJ anywhere, unless she surprises her with something. Flying armbar for the win ;)
She went for a clinch with KK because of her favorite back taking and choking, big mistake and if she tries the same with JJ she'll eat a lot of elbows.
People forget that she was the main sparring partner for The last two of Valentina’s camps and Valentina probably has the best clinch game out of the 35ers. So I’m sure rose has picked up a thing or two

She has never faced a decent counter striker at strawweight I’m not sure that Rose is that fighter, but a good counter striker like Shevchenko, who beat JJ three times, would make easy work of an aggressive, offensive style like JJ, and if they connect, JJ’s TD defense will be irrelevant. Even KK put JJ on her back.
