Nadal vs Tsitsipas for a place in the semi=finals - who wins?!
Nadal in 3 sets
Tsitsipas hopefully
Rafa in straight sets
Tsip in 2
Rafa in 3 sets
I was like... that's a lot of people not wearing masks! Then I looked at the title :(
I was at minute 5:30 when I noticed smh
:(
Or just also remember that they've never played in the atp finals more than once which was last year😉
@@15Stratos this statement will be false after 8 and a half hours
No way! Nadal and Tsitsipas both clearly look a year younger! 😂
They get me everytime with these old highlights. I was like wait a minute, what's the time now?? What time zone am I in now ??
Me too!! And I was saying, "Wait, the ball boy is bringing the towel to Nadal??!! And the crowd??!!"...it was at that point I figured it out!
...I was only suspicious about the handshake at the end (face-maximum-palm)...
me too! Spoiler again? Stop putting the winner in the thumbnail.... ops... my mistake heheheh
It is not fair most tournaments take place on hard court surface which gives favour to Federer and Djokovic mostly they are best in it they are 9 ATP masters tournaments In that 6 Tournaments are on hard court surface only 3 Tournaments are on clay court surface Grass doesn't have 1 masters tournament also It would be nice if 5 ATP masters tournaments takes place on hard court surface 3 ATP masters takes place on clay court surface 1 ATP masters tournament on grass court surface it would be great even top players would show interest in it. They are no grass court specialist actually because lack of grass court tournaments as Andy Murray and Nadal said it Grass courts are in UK of Europe Few places in USA also Clay Courts are popular and common in Europe and South America. Hard courts are popular in North America and Australia and few parts of Europe actually Tennis is becoming competitive sport actually Focusing on hard and Clay courts Djokovic is unrivalled and unbeatable in Wimbledon simple Nadal had a chance to win it in past for sure now it is too late for him to end the streak of Djokovic on grass
I only realised this was 2019 halfway through the video. Realising that there was a crowd, so this couldn't be 2020, was like being dragged back into an alternate dimension.
The energy is so different 😢
you are right
SAME
Same here!
You guys must be new to tennis, you could tell just by the outfits
Nadal’s voley is so underrated !!
He comes to net when point 99% won Then all that's left is to do doink That's not volley skill 👍🙏☺️
@@Phurngirathaana without crying now please, shut up
@@Phurngirathaana The doink-volleyer.
because federer's are perfect and everyone admire it
Conductor That is because every single player hates the net nowadays.
Rafa arrived late at the tournament, and even after this win he was taken out. But after this match came his amazing Davis Cup performance, giving Spain the title.
And Bautista, after his father died. Roberto was the hero in the last Davis Cup.
@@mrpiccolofan2 Nadal was the MVP
Nadal was improving so much with every match. He was playing exceptionally well but unfortunately didn't qualify. One of the matches of 2019./\ Thanks for putting this up.
Scariest thing is that Nadal never faced a break point!
What do you mean
Lmao this is not 2020
@@user-ff6vm5hk9j what?
@@user-ff6vm5hk9j He means that Tsitsipas didn't have a single game where he was at break point. Break point meaning that it is the opponent serving but you are on game point.
Almost 3 hours of play and not a single break point faced by nadal yet the match was as close as one can be. Absolute classic
Nadal net play was insane in this match.
fed say :it s luck
The only match lost by Tsitsipas in this tournament 🔥
I miss the crowd :(
Laughs in Australian Open 2021
Amazing tennis!!! I love love to watch nadal play ..he always give the viewers a high level of tennis
Rafa the king of big occasion what a fighter
The king of clay 👍🙏☺️
God*
Unlike Nole nowadays, Nadal always plays the game with intensity.
Man the crowd made the ATP Finals so special. Best venue and atmosphere in tennis imo.
That's your first acceptable comment in the comment section. You're improving. :P
A very rare respectful comment from Thomas brunkle
@@rafamessi3867 YEP,finally his FIRST POSITIVE comment ,hopefully it won't be the last
Kindly post an extended highlight of the Nadal-Thiem match 🙏🙏❤️

@@Phurngirathaana stfu hater a defeat doesn't change his greatness. Btw he played at such a great level with Thiem
Didn’t see the score and watched this fresh highlights, what an 🤩 entertainment
Same for me😅
@@dyno6955 HAHAHA, put another mark for me. I just knew Nadal won when he took off his bandana. BTW it´s 2019. I think they´re fighting some day on current date.
Fun fact: Tsitsipas had 0 break points in this match
Tsitsipas broke nadal twice?
@@thedayisnigh5886 These are the highlights for the 2019 match not the 2020 one
Some of Rafa's net play is just insane and they say he is not so good in net.The most humble champion in world sport and this is coming from a huge Roger fan
Nadal is the Greatest Tennis Player! It doesn't matter if he loses or wins.
That's just incredible tennis on both sides. So many micro adjustments to strategy and the defense level was so high that every winner required world class precision.
Unlucky tsitsipas ( one of my favorite players and future world number 1) but vamos Rafa good luck with the rest 💪🏼🎾
I mean that particular tournament Tsitsipas won the whole thing, so i'm pretty sure he wouldn't change anything that took place during that week, even this lose.
Wonderlandian ya I guess
@@wonderlandian8465 That's why I think Rafa will beat him. Tsitsipas only lost a set to Thiem in this tournament if you exclude Nadal and he beat Zverev Medvedev and Federer who are all great indoors players. Tsitsipas isn't as good this year and I think Rafa will beat him to qualify but it's a better man wins and goes through. Really simple but Rafa deserves to go through after last year he was unlucky to not pass with 2 wins
Matimb it’ll be between the three
@@matiasmb6032 yeah may be stefanos drops third
What a fantastic match, hope to see another masterpiece from these two in a few hours.
watching this while waiting for their match later...Vamos!
Nadal gives me the chills with some shots and his comebacks, man... It´s true. Years enjoying with his performances and still able tu surprise. I have grabbed my hair around ten times in this video.
Love watching this...thank you both...high level of tennis
Nadal VS madvedev would also be match to see skills of next generation against top two. Amazing display of top quality tennis by these youngsters.
That's why I really hope Nadal wins today. Anyways Medvedev'll thrash Tsitsipas in SF.
Unbelievable, what a performance!!
😌😌 Those were good times. When you could sit together without worrying about wearing a mask, shake hands, be in larger groups....
Yup and now we ll have a new world order. Crazy to think how the world ruined it self in 1 year
@@crab_striker1961 I'm not saying the virus is fake or planned, but the world was heading for economic destruction anyway and has been for a long time. Everyone is seeing the pandemic as an opportunity to reset. Problem is, no one wants to reset if they're doing fine. Solution: shut everything down, causing ruin and dependency
Oh relax muffin
@@owenbenjaminshapiro6285 .
It was a sensational match. I think it was Nadal's highest probable chance at the title, had he somehow qualified for the semifinals after this win last year. It was a miraculous turnaround in form after a dreadful first rubber, then played better but barely survived the 2nd rubber with a bit of luck, then turned up to play his best match of the week in this final rubber against eventual champ Tsitsipas who was running on joyous abandon and a "nothing to lose" wave from start to finish in the tournament.
I thought this is from this year, but then I saw the audience ...
Sensational. 🙌
What a match!!!
....what?! Amazing highlights, yet I feel 100% bamboozled....
Brilliant Tennis. Absolutely top shelf. Both players winning points and making shots rather than letting errors dictate who wins crucial points. The most amazing thing is that Thiem was actually able to prevail against this version of rafa the day prior. Rafa is the king.
2020 Thiem> 2020 Rafa
I didn’t see the title said 2019. I was wondering how there was a packed crowd with kids bringing towels😭. Good times
So psyched for today's game! And boy, it's not the same without the crowd, is it?
You will never see federer and nadal give up in a match or tank unlike novak. But isnt novak the most mentally strong of all timr? Hes had a history of tanking
This was a good match!
Can't believe players like tsitsipas have won this tournament and Nadal hasn't... like I know indoor hardcourt isn't Nadal's strongsuit but come on! I really hope he wins this year, just like I do every year haha
Hopefully today's match will be like last year....
Won’t be unfortunately
@@bijelib7035 it was. No fortune needed.
The best game!!!!
8:03 " from the world No -1" 😭😭😭
Beautiful!!!:)
John McEnroe would love some of the volleys that Nadal played in this match. Nadal might be the most reliable net player in the world, and it's not even his style. Tsitsipas played well and was in the match all the way. The quality of tennis was extraordinary.
I was so worried that I missed this for a second lol.
wonderful game!☺️☺️☺️🎉
Rafa the king of Tennis
King of clay 👍🙏☺️

@@Phurngirathaana COME OUT OF THE CAVE,YOU HATER!
I must probably overlooked this match a little last year (and it was probably obscured for me by the insane Thiem vs. Djokovic one, the Federer masterclass versus Djokovic, and the epic comeback against Medvedev). My god was Nadal playing on a different level here. And with what you don't see often: lots of net points, loads of volleys and much shorter rallies. No wonder he finished at no. 1 last year.
Great highlights, but I wish the thumbnail didn’t show the winner
Crowd ❤
How many fans are there? Sounds like a decent amount and made me realize how much I miss fans :(
In 2019 ATP FINALS ,There were Many Brilliant Games.
I realised this is from 2019 after the camera panned on the crowd

You may hate Nadal but you’ve gotta admit that almost all his matches are exciting to watch.
Because he always tries so hard and is ready for a battle.
I like nadal, its exciting to watch him play.
Nadal went beast mode here.. bravo Mr Nadal bravo..
Haven't seen Nadal play at the net so much for some time now. His volley has always been the second cleanest next to Federer (among the big 3)
Watch him these last 4 years. He’s been coming to net a ton
Nadal must be the Benjamin Buttons of tennis. The older he gets, the more bullish he becomes.
are you supposed to return the ball if they hit it in the crowd?
Same result in 2020 😂 GOATdal ate him for breakfast.
Rafa made so many great net points to compensate the absence of Roger😃
I like many others was bamboozled and then I heard the crowd 30 seconds in 😂😂
hope to see the same score today :D
Ahhh😳😳😳 2019
Which is the origin of the surname nadal?because in italy with have a lot of nadal in the region of Veneto,as a tipical surname, maybe is he original from there?
I thought this was from this year! Why would they post something from last year?

He was in survival mode in this match. Mark of the beast!

2:32 I like her passion A LOT
Interesting post in the middle of 2020 finals...
Definitely Nadal is playing better this season...and with 10x improved serve..it's crazy how these gods keep on improving at this age
He is also well rested and played less match this year which is an added advantage especially at his age.Playing less meaning he is not fatigued and has alot of fuel left in his tank towards the end of the year.
