The AntiAsianness within the Black Community

The antiAsianness within the Black community is a serious problem. Just last year, we’ve seen hundreds upon hundreds of videos. This doesn’t mean that all Black people are responsible for these acts. And we should NOT generalize NOR perpetuate hate by blaming the entire Black community. But at what point after hundreds and hundreds of videos do these no longer constitute “isolated incidents” and rather something society should talk about?
When we’re having group-level public discussions on race-relations, we talk very often about the antiBlackness within the Asian community (as well we should). But we never talk about the antiAsianness within the Black community. I have not heard a single Black activist, thought leader, political leader, Black-led organization publicly state that antiAsianness within the Black community is a serious problem that must be addressed. All they’ve said pretty much sums up to “we stand with Asian people against White supremacy”. This is a narrative that people are telling themselves so that the elephant in the room need not be addressed. What’s actually happening is that the Black community has greater political power than Asian people, and that’s why we are seeing this disparate treatment in the public discourse we have about antiBlackness and antiAsianness. I talk about the Wokeism ideology that is underlying this phenomenon, and how according to it, you cannot talk critically about groups that are deemed more oppressed and that this belief system manifests itself in certain ways: that “Black people can’t be racist” or that “Talking about antiAsian racism within the Black community is divisive, when we need solidarity and unity.” We never say it’s divisive to talk about the antiBlackness within the Asian community. I say that it’s time that Black community leaders engage in race-relations dialogues in a more equitable manner, and explicitly state that antiAsianness within the Black community must be addressed.

You're implying that you're looking at the world around you from a bubble, that you have no impact on, or take responsibility for. But actually, you are just as much a part of the world as any other 1 person. If every 1 person would take responsibility for their own actions instead of watching the world go by from a bubble, things would improve. The world simply is made up of a bunch of 1 persons. Stop echoing this negative, non-productive narrative, and find the power within yourself to make the world 'eventually causing' peace, forgiveness and love. (sorry, this isn't directed to you personally, and maybe you are making a difference for the better in your own way)

Ma was hospitalized and died eight months later on Dec. 31, 2021. These people aren't fictitious. These stories aren’t published to push a narrative. • I completely agree. I'm a Taiwanese American, and almost all the anti-Asian racism I've ever encountered has been from Black teenagers. The White teenagers in my school aren't racist to me, and most of the Black adults I've met are very kind and inclusive to all people. I also almost never have time to do anything other than work, so I'm constantly very stressed (although most Asians have it harder than me). All it takes is for one Black person to be racist to me, and I'll be stressed the whole day. Over time, this has built up resentment for Black people in me, especially since I despise any form of injustice (possibly due to my autism, which in addition to my ADD, also make it very difficult for me to focus and work). Even though I know in my head that not all Black people are racist, I can't help but subconsciously dislike them a little. This makes me feel bad for the Black people who are not racist, but are judged by people like me who don't know them. Good luck, Harry! I hope you stop being discriminated. :C

  • As an interpreter who translates between Burmese and English over the phone, I support the message conveyed in this video. Through my experience translating 911 and police calls, I have observed that approximately 95% of cases where a Burmese individual is brutally attacked, robbed, or bullied, the perpetrator is typically a black person. I once translated a call where a Burmese family reported being harassed by a black family to the police. The Burmese family was so frightened that they were afraid to leave their own home. The black family harassed them by urinating at their doorstep, throwing stones at their children when they played outside, and even physically assaulting a Burmese child and stealing his bicycle. The situation has become so extreme that Burmese people living in America have created a derogatory term specifically targeting black people, which is never heard of in my home country of Myanmar. They often make comments like "It's the * again" and "Of course, the attacker is ***," indicating that they have come to expect this type of behavior from black people due to past experiences of prejudice and mistreatment.

    • ASIAN AMERICA Viral images show people of color as anti-Asian perpetrators. That misses the big picture. A new analysis reveals misconceptions about perpetrators, victims, and the general environment around anti-Asian hate incidents. These can have "long-term consequences for racial solidarity," researcher Janelle Wong said. Activists participate in a vigil in response to the Atlanta spa shootings March 17, 2021 in the Chinatown area of Washington, DC.Alex Wong / Getty Images SAVE June 15, 2021, 2:47 PM EDT By Kimmy Yam While news reports and social media have perpetuated the idea that anti-Asian violence is committed mostly by people of color, a new analysis shows the majority of attackers are white. Janelle Wong, a professor of American Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, released analysis last week that drew on previously published studies on anti-Asian bias. She found official crime statistics and other studies revealed more than three-quarters of offenders of anti-Asian hate crimes and incidents, from both before and during the pandemic, have been white, contrary to many of the images circulating online. Wong told NBC Asian America that such dangerous misconceptions about who perpetrates anti-Asian hate incidents can have "long-term consequences for racial solidarity." "The way that the media is covering and the way that people are understanding anti-Asian hate at this moment, in some ways, draws attention to these long-standing anti-Asian biases in U.S. society," Wong said. "But the racist kind of tropes that come along with it - especially that it's predominantly Black people attacking Asian Americans who are elderly - there's not really an empirical basis in that." Wong examined nine sources and four types of data about anti-Asian hate incidents, including from the reporting forum Stop AAPI Hate, Pew Research, as well as official law enforcement statistics, the majority of them spanning the year and a half when the #StopAAPIHate hashtag was trending. She found major contradictions in the prevailing narrative around perpetrators, victims, and the general environment of racism toward Asian Americans during the coronavirus pandemic. She said such misleading conclusions could be attributed to the lack of context around images, the failure to amplify all aspects of the data or misinterpretations of the research. A misread of a frequently cited study from this year, published in the American Journal of Criminal Justice, likely contributed to the spread of erroneous narratives, Wong said. The study, which examined hate crime data from 1992 to 2014, found that compared to anti-Black and anti-Latino hate crimes, a higher proportion of perpetrators of anti-Asian hate crimes were people of color. Still, 75 percent of perpetrators were white. Other studies confirm the findings, Wong wrote. She pointed to separate research from the University of Michigan Virulent Hate Project, which examined media reports about anti-Asian incidents last year and found that upward of 75 percentof news stories identified perpetrators as male and white in instances of physical or verbal assault and harassment when the race of the perpetrator was confirmed. Wong said the numbers could even be an underestimate. "This is really how crime is framed in the United States - it's framed as the source is Black," Wong said.

  • I’m an Asian who grew up in a hispanic and black neighborhood. From kindergarten all the way to my senior year of high school, I was constantly mocked, made fun of, called names, shoved around, and avoided. It was very hard for me to focus in school because I developed a constant fear of being picked on. My PE teacher back in high school also participated in making fun of me, and suffered no repercussions. Because of my experience, I ended up becoming anti-social, and it’s taken a lot of effort to learn how to properly socialize with people now. I wish this problem was covered more often, because I now know I did not need to put up with that growing up.

I know Asians who would say the N word with the ER at the end. But, guess what, how many Asian people are trying to overturn Affirmative Action? That’s actual racism. Trying to overturn a system designed to help Black people who were targeted by the government and denied ability to succeed. And Asians are trying to throw that out.

      @WatchinVidz@WatchinVidz Жыл бұрын
    • @@WatchinVidz First off, I’m just sharing my experiences like many others in this comment section have. I don’t see any issues with that. Second, not everyone was picked on as a kid. Anyone who’s attended a public school knows that’s not the case. In regards to Asians saying the N word with a hard R, of course that’s wrong. However, the same argument can be made for every other race. Racism has roots in every community out there. The issue of racism itself is constantly brought up everywhere but no definitive answer is ever agreed on and worked towards as a whole. So if you think you’ve got an answer you can rally the people to act upon, I’m all ears. Moving onto Affirmative Action being overturned, it’s not a simple topic to discuss. It isn’t just a two-sided coin and you just pick what side you’re on. They aren’t trying to overturn it because they outright hate black people, it’s more out of concern for themselves. My personal thoughts on it are that it’s a misguided way of thinking and I don’t see how overturning Affirmative Action would benefit AAs, because based off my knowledge on the matter so far, it would just be bringing the opportunities of the minorities in question down. And I don’t think the answer is bringing other minorities down. Like I said, it really isn’t an easy topic to go over, and that wasn’t the purpose of this video to begin with…

      @KerriganR@KerriganR Жыл бұрын
    • @@KerriganR yes, everyone was picked on. I went to an extremely diverse school and literally everyone from every background had something to say about each other. even the cool kids got picked on, cause there’s always someone who’s cooler, funnier, etc. And it’s not usually out of hatred, sometimes sure, but usually it’s just kids being kids. Share your experience, fine. But, people are using those experiences to downtalk Black people. As if we have some hatred issue. But you ignore the fact that basically every immigrant community that moves to America looks down on Black people. You know how most immigrant parents or grandparents view African Americans, don’t deny it. And I know how the current generation, deep down, views us too. It seeps out in small ways. Like when discussing Affirmative Action. You see, we can’t just talk about the parts that are convenient for your argument. Because we need to look at the bigger picture. So yes I’m on the side of keeping Affirmative Action. Just like you said, dismantling it is a move that the Asian community thinks will benefit them, and they don’t care how it will affect my community. That’s racism. See, people get it twisted. Making jokes and poking fun, is mean, sure. Prejudice if you want to think about it that way. But, racism.. that’s deeper. That’s maliciously using the system to your advantage at the expense of another community. At the heart of it, Asian Americans think they are smarter and that the “seats” at Harvard are being given to dumb, under motivated people, mostly Black. So, let’s be racist and change the system so we can continue positioning ourselves above them. So, how do you fix that? Because, truth is, I doubt it’s ever going to be “fixed”. Humans are tribal animals, who pick their “pack” of others who think or look like them, and rank themselves against others. There’s always going to be someway we categorize ourselves. And racism is so far baked into society. But, one thing that’s NOT gonna help is overturning laws from the civil rights era that my community literally died for so your community can go to an Ivy League school. You know why Black people deserve Affirmative Action? Cause we literally built these places, from brick and mortar, and were denied access legally and systematically. How can we fix racism if immigrants come over here not acknowledging or respecting that history, trying to change it for themselves, then pointing the finger at us claiming racism.

I'm British with African roots, so I can only understand the race situation in America from an outsider POV. But I will say that overall, you're absolutely right: as much as we collectively point the finger to others, 3 fingers will always point back at us so we need to look at ourselves and reflect. Even if we've been historically wronged, it doesn't mean we are all angels and saints. I think the media should definitely be more transparent bc it lets everyone know what exactly is going on and I think it will help to demolish this "hierarchy/ladder" of oppression as you described. Not all of us are bad, but not all of us are good either - and that goes for every demographic. Highlighting all of our "goodness" as well as "badness" not only helps to humanise us more but i think it also helps us to either socially accept or reject certain behaviours and ultimately make our communities better for those within it and those who interact with it. ☮️🌍

They lived in a white majority area, they cared about school, their grades, the family reputation, were super athletic, super kind amazing people etc. When they moved away to university they tried to make new friends (of all races). Their black friends would always tell them they “sounded white”, “acted white”, seemed “uppity”, sounded like they spoke “too proper” etc. They are all successful, have good professions and are married now. They all married white people, even though they had all dated people of various races when they were single…..it just so happened that they fell in love with white people and married them (they didn’t set out to marry white people). When my friend married her husband, her extended family members (not her parents) said “You’re lucky. Successful, handsome white men don’t usually like darker black women. Hang on to him!” Their reaction when her two brothers both married white women? Anger. Anger that two smart, successful, well off, good looking black men “wasted” themselves by marrying white women. Anger that white women were “snatching” up the “good black men”. The way they spoke, and viewed things was disgusting. They told the white girls (that married the brothers) that they must have “jungle fever”, and that they should “stick to their own instead of stealing the black men”. F’n insane. These people think they’re NOT racist and that white people are (including the ones that married and had kids with their black nephews/niece/cousins…….totally delusional.

They play games with society. They have the power to choose which countries, cultures, or individuals will excel or fail. They say life is what you make it, and that's true... to a point, but at some point in our endeavors, we all need the assistance or approval of a superior authority to accomplish certain goals. That is even true with health insurance chosing which diagnostics and treatments are and are not covered for this person over here and that person over there. We can notice it, but have no way of proving it. Its unfortunate for us but it was designed to be so there could be no argument or recourse from the cattle. It goes so deep.

I thought it was a thing where they would be made fun of, not beaten and killed. I know I'm not part of the African American community (assuming this is going on in America) I'd like to apologise for the pain and frustration that this community has caused. It is hypocritical for this community to refuse any accountability and see their errors. Black people are very racist, speaking as an African British girl. They are racist towards themselves, white people, and pretty much everyone. Many black people don't speak much about the problems going on in their own community, but are ready to jump on the band wagon of hating on other races for hating on them. Yes, we are oppressed, but so are Native Americans, Mexicans, and a bunch of other races. 400 years of bad blood does not give us a free pass.

And I was not wrong because then I went on to being bullied at school for being the only Asian. I never spoke about it to anyone. I think a lot of Asians are taught to endure injustices in silence. I also will not ever forget how left-wing Korean-American activists from Berkeley came down to LA and tried to portray the whole "uprising" (their euphemism for vengeful racial violence) as the fault of white society. They actually tricked some of these surviving shop-owners, many of whom did not speak English, into taking part in a news conference in which they put words in their mouths. I had seen what happened on live tv feed---gang members had actually driven across town to attack Korean business---and I was so disgusted by this propaganda that I ended up having a complete about-face politically. I began reading black conservative authors such as Shelby Steele and came to accept their interpretation of race relations. I suggest you look into some of these authors. • I'd be much more supportive of black people if I hadn't lived around them for almost 70 years in Philadelphia. I've taken a back seat to blacks on many occasions starting with affirmative action in the 1970s when I was told (by a black HR worker) that I was the wrong color to get a job at the local steel mill. I have stood down so that blacks could have more opportunities and I've never in my life hurt or hated anyone, but at this point in my life, I have to say I was wrong, my parents were wrong, my fellow hippie protestors were wrong. In Philly, I worked as a laborer and I worked often in the Asian section, including working with Chinese immigrants. Never did I feel threatened or hated by them, even though language differences sometimes made communication hard. We respected each other and real friendships evolved. Black friendships evolved too, but it was hit or miss, and mostly miss. As soon as a problem arose, the race card got pulled, every single time. To their credit, I was once even involved with the NAACP and they thanked me for being fair and told me the black person who called me a racist was the one who was at fault. Now I'm not sure, I think I may have finally begun to feel real racism because I hate some black people pretty much just hearing them say stupid and hateful things like I hear and see in some of your video clips. I believe God has given them many gifts, including a life in America, but I don't think God gave many of them the gift of higher intelligence, and I believe that is the elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about. It's fine to boasts about being better in sports and music and even acting, but let's not suggest that Asians and white people might be a little smarter on average. Noooooo. Like Chris Rock said , I love me some black people, but you know what, I also hate the same ones' Chris says he hates. God forgive me, but I really do hate them for giving me so many reasons to hate them. And F* that woman carrying the sign that say "it's too late to apolgize!" • Hello Charlie. I dunno what caused YT to recommend your videos, yet after have watched a few, I am glad it did. I would tell you a story to support your argument. I am swiss and white. I grew up in a small village and traveled to work in the city by train every day. Usually the train was packed and I ignore those around me and read a book. Yet, one day, I was heading back home later than usual. The train was almost empty. Yet after a few stops, three men entered. One was white, the other asian and the third one black. They sat down close to me and started chatting in english. At that point I was still learning english, so I quietly listened while they were chatting about some sport event. I assumed from how they looked that the white was a swiss showing his foreign friends around, hence why they all spoke english instead of swiss german. To my shock and internal embarrassment, the white man said good bye after a few more stops and left the train. And that caused the asian looking guy and the black to switch to the thickest swiss german. It made me realize that the white was actually the foreigner and they spoke english because of him. I should have known better than to judge simply because of looks. Many children I went to school with were of mixed nationality and race and two of my cousins were adopted from Sri Lanka. I never thought of myself as being judgemental, yet this little episode taught me a very important lesson. We are all flawed and make mistakes.. and sometimes a misjudgment like what I did could easily drift off into racism. And that is human.. no race or sex or nationality is exempt from that. So yes, racism exists unfortunately. And it exists in every race. Thinking it is not or ignoring that doesn't make it magically 'go away'. And I noticed it here too lately in switzerland. We have a thriving asian community in the city I live. But during the Pandemic, I heard many people shout slus at asian employees.. I never heard that before here. It shocked me and made me sad. I got this theory that there needs to be two underlining effects that happens to make someone into a racist. The one is fear. And that doesn't have to be a reasonable fear.. simply hearing 'this or that group is stealing your jobs' can induce such fear, no matter if it is justified or not. The other, which I experienced in my trains tory is simply judging a situation or a person without knowing them simply by made up assumptions. I hope one day we all learn and grow as humans. But judging by the current state of things, especially, but not exclusively in the US, I doubt we will ever reach that Sorry about the long post. I hope you have a great day and good luck in your studies

  • The absolute hypocrisy is just crazy. I'm an asian, and where I grew up, last year after school, there were always these black kids who lived close to us. They were wild. My friends and I usually hang out together and every time, these guys would just walk up to us and start throwing rocks, mostly at me, and making racist impressions. We tried to ignore them, but one of them hit my friend in the eye, and it was bad. Eventually, after we called the cops, my other friend had taken a video of everything. The 5 of them got arrested, and they got landed in juvenile prison for 2 years. Their parents were nice; they were really disappointed in their children, and were shocked to hear about what happened. They helped my friend afford surgery for his eye, and he is still in the middle of recovering. I just want to say that I am really thankful for my friends for helping me through.

    • Sad truth of reality: there was no proof that the George Floyd situation was racially motivated. The media and the black liberals just took advantage of the situation to silence the cop and cause worldwide hatred towards him without any proof. Because this worldwide hatred spread so fast, the court had to make sure that all the powers inside the court were black so that there was no rational chance of the cop getting out alive as a non racist. I’ve watched all the videos and I think the fentanyl assisted with his death when the cop also applied a bit of pressure on his neck. Was it manslaughter? Yes. Racially motivated? I don’t think so.

  • Black woman here, and thank you so much for bringing this up! The discourse and hypocrisy in our own community is out of this world. I remember how relieved my brother was when he asked me if black people could be racist, and my answer was a resounding yes! He had gotten into a whole argument with a group on facebook who were claiming every social, political, and religious take on why black people couldn't be racist due to a technicality. Like what? This isn't law school where we're analyzing the oxford comma. EVERYONE, regardless of their race, can be racist! Hell, a large majority are racist against their own people! We just call it Colorism. Victimhood is rampant, but that status is only granted to black men. We'll hear about "da white man" this, etc, etc, but we'll RARELY hear about the violence black men commit against black women. A black man can degrade a black woman, abuse her, and kill her, but they still expect her family and the rest of the community to keep hush on it so they don't send "another brother" to the police. They still expect black women to march for them regardless of this. And the crazy part is... WE STILL DO. It's like we're expected to ignore every violent act committed against us because "the whites" are still in power. That being said, at least the women speaking on this in our community are gaining popularity, and ARE able to talk about it to the extent that it is now. I can't even imagine the hurt, confusion, and anger I would feel looking around and having _no one_ say a peep on what is clearly systemic violence. Until you spoke on it, _I_ didn't even know it was to this extent, or what was happening, so thank you for being brave and being one of the firsts to voice it.

"He was too young, he got into the wrong crowd at a young age, his father left his home." But somehow, a BW will catch blame for his own father leaving the family. And for the record, black lives do matter, but it was people in our own community who diminished the message by catering to the crowd too sensitive and too dense to realize the nuance in that statement. And then it diminished even more when the cases of violence against black women by the men we were protecting were silenced and/or straight-up ignored.

  • I'm ½ black/½ white and have received racist comments from some other blacks about liking Asian men. One Kenyan woman I used to know hated Asians, Arabs and Jews but loved white people who weren't Jewish. Ironically, she lived near an area that has a high number of Jews. She expressed to me on more than one occasion that she hated Asians and advised me not to date or marry one because I was ½ black. She said my only options when it came to dating or marriage were black or white men. I finally ended my friendship with this woman and her prejudiced family particularly her sister and niece after six years. It was after I accidentally signed a warrant for her niece's husband's license to be suspended which was left by the sheriff. They then tried to get their family lawyer to use my disability as an excuse to nullify the warrant. They knew I had high functioning Autism before I revealed it to this woman and I just didn't feel like I should be friends with people like that. I just wished I never met this woman back in 2012 or attended that class I had no interest in at the community college where we first met. Another time a black Muslim woman who was African American and her husband was Afro-Cuban told me to only date southeast Asian men and not East Asian men. She claimed a person of East Asian descent may date me, but won't introduce me to their families because I'm ½ black. She also used the term "colored woman" when describing how a southeast Asian man is more likely to date a black woman. In her mind, it's still the 1960s. 🙄😒 I felt sorry for her daughter who's only two years older than me because she liked Asian guys specifically Japanese men. But, if she were to date an East Asian guy, her mother would disapprove due to her own prejudices. 😠 This experience has taught me to make better friends. I do agree with the overall message of this video. I've also learned not to think about my mixed race heritage too much. It's not important and I definitely do not agree with the one drop rule. I feel like American society cares way too much about race. Asians in particular are being used as either political pawns or the scapegoats in the face of toxic identity politics. The progressive liberals regardless of race are so quick to jump on Asians because they're seen as "the other whites", which is completely untrue. Blacks and hispanics, depending on their race, are seen as a protected class and underprivileged. This is why the progressives regardless of race are more likely to excuse blacks whenever they do something wrong. I personally feel like the left and right are two sides of the same coin. Politics have gotten so bad in the US over the years that you'll be called out for every little thing that's considered offensive. Even to the slightest degree. Divisive politicians on both sides want to keep division alive and well. It's something I will not be apart of. Sorry for my rant here.

Whenever I would stand up for others in those situations, the hate would immediately be turned on me, but I have never been afraid to mix it up and be combative on behalf of the downtrodden. Charlie, you have my utmost respect for doing what you are doing. It is difficult trying to stand up for those who cant, especially when it makes you the new primary target. Stay stubborn brother and dont ever turn your back on your convictions. -love from the South

    • Yeah and I always remember all the anti-blackness other Asians had towards blacks. Especially in their households. Calling them all kinds of names behind closed door then make money off them.

  • as a black and korean person this is an opinion i have had for a little while, not too long since im only 13 but the black kids at my school are 10x more racist to me than the white kids are. Calling me ching chong, the c slur, telling me to eat dog, eat cat, go back to korea, you cant say the n word your not black i have been literally RIPPED away from my own black culture and it just makes me so mad, during track the track was all dusty and got in our eyes and a kid ran by me and said “i cant see i feel so asian” so i yelled “IS IT BECAUSE IM ASIAN?” idk why i did that but i did ig and he said “btw your not asian ur korean” in this video he talks about how people LOVE to talk about anti blackness in the asian community but once its anti asianness in the black community they dont turn a head, multiple people hear that kid being racist to me and i tell all my friends hes racist to me and they still turn around and stay friends with him as if he isnt racist to me till this day

I have shared your video within my limited social circle. I hope more people will do the same. A small pebble can cause a great ripple. May God blees you and bring peace to your community. 🙏❤

  • As a white person with an Asian partner we have talked about this a lot. Its an awkward conversation because I feel like I'm not allowed to have an opinion on it as a white person, but it makes me so upset to see because it ISN’T being discussed.

    • U are allowed an opinion because in Europe Blk ppl are ending the lives of multiple different groups simply because of race. There is anti non Blk slogans all over the walls in Europe and a lot of faked hate crimes the other way round. Everyone sees it many groups talk about the truth amongst each other that Blk ppl are the most racist but when there is a camera in our face or a woke person that could get us fired cancelled and destroy our entire life we say white ppl.

    • Bruh you are 100% allowed to have an opinion on anything, just like everyone else, you and everyone are entitled to your opinions. I feel sorry for you that you ever believed or felt others controlled your ability to have thoughts and express them. Seriously don’t even give an inch to anyone on this shit, the moment you forfeit your right to freedom of expression you are being enslaved.

  • I once had an Asian friend (im black) and we were talking about bullying in schools and racism. She always talked about how much she hated being an Asian and she should be a white girl and that shes more white than Asian and being white suits her. I used to always talk to her and tell her not to hate herself bc of what others say and that there is many things to be proud. She complained about how shes uglier bc shes Asian and ppl make fun of her eyes and bullied her. I told her i was bullied alot in school too. I don't remember what exactly I said, but i made a reference to feeling out of place around white ppl (my bullies were black, not white tho). I assumed her bullies were white bc she was wishing to be white, but she cut me off and said "They were Black." There was an awkward silence because i knew exactly what she meant.

      @skyeEngene@skyeEngene Жыл бұрын
    • @@skyeEngene She believed being white suited her fashion sense and style more. She liked to dye her hair red and lived with white ppl. I dont think her wanting to be white was a product directly of the black bullying. The bullying fuel her already not liking that she was born Chinese. She had smaller boobs which she complained about and attributed to being Asian aswell. So its just alot of things about being Chinese she hated. But im sure the bullies fuel it. Also I guess it can go both ways but being bullied by a race might make u intern hate that race and not wanna be one of them? Idk, but even outside of things regarding her past, she always expressed that she was a white girl in a Chinese body. Its sad. Funny thing is, i also had a Swedish friend that would swear that she wish she was Asian XD

    • @@ellisjackson3355 yeah, I think shes doing better last i heard from her. I dont think she hates black ppl as I was her friend and the reason we aren't talking right now has nothing to do with race, rather we tried dating and it didn't work out but we've spoken since and its all good.
