I don't see deals changing until every champ refuses to fight until demands are met. it's difficult in a sport like MMA, but collective bargaining is the strongest way to position oneself into a fair contract. I hope as many fighters on the roster as possible see what Francis is fighting for, and join in that fight. can't wait to see you back champ.

I can tell you one thing, Francis got the right people around him. Everyone is ready to go back to training for more big things in 2023. I work in the Film industry (VFX) and when I hear Francis talk about his contract, I FEEL it. I live it but instead of fighting, I work 110hrs a week to get screwed over by the company I do nothing but help. I am happy Francis chose freedom, one day if I have money, I will too. I do get that what I do is nothing in comparison to fighting, sleep deprivation & trying to work out why assets are so far from 0 point that I am getting round off errors is relatively simple, MMA is not at all simple and I am just meaning contractually, I get it. It is easy to see why fighters take crappy contracts, just like VFX artists, we see the bright lights and more so, the $$$.. When you have always been nothing to nobody your whole life a decent bit of $$$ and some bright lights will make you ruin your life before you are wise enough to see what you did. I am from NZ so a big Izzy fan and I am blessed to be alive in the time of the THREE KINGS!!! Salute Francis!
