  • 'Built Fast': nothing exaggerated :) It looks great. Can't wait to try it on the field!

  • I really appreciate all your hard work. You’re a talented airframe designer for sure. But, you know what I appreciate more? Listening to the joy in your voice when you’re talking about and flying your fun creations! Your joy is contagious! 👊

    • Thanks! Nothing better than having a design fly well.

  • That looks like fun software. Too bad it's rental-ware.

  • How good an artist are you especially with an air brush ? I think that's all that is missing right now colors

  • Love the design and building I use fusion 360 and you've inspired me to give something a go. Looking forward to seeing how you design the inside. I have an old 64mm edf foamie that needs the gear taken out. What easy print fun 64mm have you done...?

    • Dude this cartoon Viggen! I’ve been flying the 50mm for a few days and it’s the most fun I’ve had. I’m currently scaling it up to 64

    • I think the set up I have is 4s not that should be OK.... Dying to see how you do the inside lay out etc. What's your site that you will, load the 64mm Viggen to....

  • Hello. Thanks for sharing. Do you mind letting us know what is the airfoil profile you are using for the wings?. And do you always use 3 degrees wash out. Thanks

    • Sorry I can’t share my custom airfoils. I use different washout every plane. I also change the washout depending on the airfoil type and shape

  • Great design! How did you come up with the airfoil you use? Did you use a program like OpenVSP or use airfoil tools?

    @SDesigns2023@SDesigns2023Ай бұрын
    • I custom make all my airfoils 😁

    • @@hotlapkyle So more about feeling and just what looks and feels right? Keeping it simple! Nice! I've studied a lot about different airfoils and airfoil design using xflr5, airfoil tools etc. Looks like a great airfoil for the job!

    • @@SDesigns2023 thanks! I’d love to learn to use the airfoil simulation tools online. It would help!

  • How do you make sure everything is centered and measured right?

    @Aerospace_Engineering_Noob@Aerospace_Engineering_NoobАй бұрын
    • I do everything with the mirror function. I only build one side then mirror. If I can’t use the mirror I use axis planes

    • @@ollutv3415 Ok thanks , i am only familiar with blender 2.8 .i will have a look ,my friend Mark @3d aeroworks he uses blender 2.79 .b for the 30 plus designs he has completed i am ,working on a 1400mm DH98 prototype he designed on rc groups currently, i like that shapr3d shows a measurement of how big the part is you are designing , will have to try it
