Well a herbivore villain (water buffalo) took over the savannah and the lion (carnivore hero) saved the day! Too cool .
Potentially a metaphor for nature taking back what humanity has stolen from it. Good job.
Also, I've heard of water buffalo before, but that's just ridiculous.

Beautiful animation. I loved especially the moment when the lion realizes that the dead forest consists of animals turned into trees and how everything starts to grow again after the water starts to flow freely again.

Simba's aboriginal granddaddy! I loved it. :-) My cat sat on my desk and watched it with me. I am not sure if it was the music, or the movement that got his attention, but he was ears up, clearly staring at the screen.

Excellent video. You could see it as a sort of re-telling of the Lion King, but I see it more as a visualization of the adage " All it takes for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing." I love the animal print trees in the beginning, a hint that things are not what they seem. I love the tribal patterns in the shadows, that is a great detail. The music and sound design are both excellent. The lighting is superb, really bringing everything to life. Textures were very good, shading is very well done.

Talent at it’s very best, cooperation of all living things
That's not talent, that's skill. Talent implies they can do this naturally. It usually takes a few years to learn how to do 3D animation like this as well as a team working on lighting, modelling and all the other complicated programs required to make an animated short.
