  • The bare spot is from the number of neck bridges Mike did in the camp leading up to the fight. It thrashes your hair but is a huge factor in tanking head shots that sneak through or winning the fight for posture in the clinch

    • @@hombre-lobo5673 Kevin Rooney was, at first, a fighter himself but Cus D'amato realised deep down that Rooney couldn't box that well himself but, he UNDERSTOOD the fundamentals of Boxing & above ALL, Kevin Rooney UNDERSTOOD Mike Tyson!! Mike actually listened to him, they had a bond, a respect for each other. Mike Tyson NEVER had a trainer that would stand up to him, they didn't wanna lose that big paycheck!! Mike fired Rooney for saying that "Robin Givens is about as pregnant as I am!!". So Don King wanted Rooney out of the picture as HE was the last bond that Mike had with Cus D'amato. Don King was/is an arsehole, FACT 💯 But lastly, d'you honestly think that Kevin Rooney would have let Mike step in the ring Vs James Douglas in the condition he was? Hell no. Mike's head & lateral movement were virtually non existent at that point. He looked flabby against Frank Bruno in February 25th "1989. So what I'm saying is that once Rooney was gone, so we're the attributes that made Mike Tyson into the fighter he was, period. Also, NO, Rooney didn't produce another World 🌍 Champion but he trained ex amount of fighters over the years, yeah. Rooney Vs Alexis Arguello is a naughty Knockout. THAT'S when Rooney became a trainer & then became Mike's head trainer. To this day I've NEVER heard Rooney publicly disrespect Mike, even after ALL these years. After the loss to Douglas, Kevin Rooney actually wanted to train Mike again. Oh yeah, Rooney helped train Vinny Pazienza, so there's ONE fighter for you. He became head coach & helped Vinny win back his World 🌍 Title. IF you don't know who Vinny Pazienza IS, then you have NO business commenting on Boxing forums & websites in the first place. I'm done folks. Free Gaza & Palestine NOW 💯✌️🇯🇴🇸🇾🇵🇰🇵🇼🇲🇷🇦🇪🇪🇬🇮🇪🇯🇲☪️☪️☪️💯✌️🌍❤️👑

(just like Ali) Ali said, IF ? a Black American, is not considered the equal of a White American, then I not going to fight, and probably get killed, in Vietnam. Correct !!! Ali was sent tp Prison for 3 years. The way Black Americans are treated has still not changed, and probably, NEVER will, particularly by the POLICE.

Tony Tucker was no slouch; 6'5'' ,220, 10" reach advantage, undefeated title holder, etc. You can't ask for a more formidible opponent during that time period. The fights that Tyson did lose were because he was not focused, past his prime, and he didn't have the right people in his corner.

  • I hate these fights. 🦏 vs 🦒 The short guy can't get the best part of his punch 🥊 into the tall guy. The tall guy is always protecting his body, so his longer arms get tired. Tucker twirling his right arm? Mike should have 💥💥💥 him right then. Mike at the end, saying he is a perfectionist was🏆top comment! Best part of vid.

  • Tyson got a lot of criticism for his performance against Buster Douglas but IMO he wasn't here much better. He wasn't the animal we were acquainted with. Maybe it's because Tucker (and Douglas) didn't let him be. But since he got the win no one seem to notice.

    • Mike responded to someone on a podcast that he had started partying and spent the night before partying with a number of ladies. He wasn’t making excuses or bragging. Just telling it how it was.

    • Mike was evading punches here, Tucker was fighting back but was using his defensive skills well to defend and attack where possible. Against Douglas, Mike was stationary walking straight to Douglas without evading anything.

    • Tucker was a Beast and was 48-1 by the Time he went the distance with Lennox Lewis also !!! He was much bigger than Tyson also ! Primed Tucker would've given every single Heavyweight in existence a Run for the money including , Holmes , Ali , Fraizer, Holyfield, Bowe, Mercer, Klitschko Bro's, Morrison, Tyson Fury, Wilder and all the rest of them !!! ! After he lost a decision to Lennox Lewis in 1993 he was finished and by 1995 he was past his prime and lost to a younger Bruce Seldon whom Tyson beat easily !! Lewis fought Tucker older and Tyson fought Tucker in his absolute Prime ! By 1995 he starting adding Losses to that great 48-1 record ! He basically was and impressive 34-0 with 29 KO When he fought Tyson !!!

  • When Sugar Ray said i invented that move and was corrected by the commentator. I lost respect to Sugar and he was one of my favorite fighters. But when you try and claim an Ali move to be his own i draw the line. Next he will try and claim the Ali shuffle which he copied and did after seeing the great Legend Ali do.
