This playthrough had really powerful elements. You literally needed MAX willpower AND max theology to stand up to the gods. I think this was probably the hardest ending based on those requirements. This was an amazing ending. Thing is though, I probably would have killed Ulrich when I had the chance -- it is the way of the Sith -- You had the Will to become the Master, but then probably would have died at the foot of the pillar.
Oh don't worry, ulrich is going to get killed, I just needed to commit to him this time for the sake of the achievements 😂😂. This really was an amazing ending!!
Well, that was unexpected xD I loved it in a way though. SPOILER for those who haven't watched yet: I do kind of wish though, that the story would continue with options that were not visible previously, where Niklaus emerges from the fire unscathed and people bow before his Will, as the sky clears and the sun shines right on him and pillar's light goes dimmer. Or something like that :P
That would have been SO COOL!!!!! it was definitely unexpected but in the most badass was possible 😂😂😂

This one's SO fun. Congrats on getting it first go!! When you said early on that "unity didn't matter" I was thinking oh nonono mom dying or Gloria running away kills your willpower! But you somehow had the right stats with both Gloria and Stephan to not trigger their secret plots and you naturally prioritized unity over rep or stats because you knew you didn't need them. Bravo! I love this ending. I also have so many questions. You automatically thought the baby in the crib was you -- that seems to be a common belief. But are we sure that the baby in the crib at the end is the player character? Or do we think it's a new baby? Are you now stuck in a time loop, watching yourself forever as The Will? Is that The Twins' ultimate punishment for someone they can't absorb into their Light? Like, what *actually* happened here, do we think?
I definitely got lucky with having the right amount of willpower to be able to do this, I don't think I fully appreciated just how much I actually needed until I was editing the video!! The main reason I'm sure it's us as the baby is because of us putting our finger to our lips which is what the mysterious third figure does right at the start of the game if you choose that after being born. This was a shocker of an ending but it's probably one of my favourites so far!!

Was there a "How you were remembered" and all after that -- You really don't want to skip those -- I think it might have said that you were remembered as a god, a third choice...
No sadly there wasn't on this one, I definitely wouldn't have skipped that! It just went straight from death, to judgement, to timeline of my life. It would have been nice to have seen what happened after!!
