I have watched lots of self-cut tutorial videos, and so far, yours are my favorite and by far the best ones on KZhead IMO. As one of your viewers commented, you don’t over complicate things. Your voice-over instructions are easy to follow and straight forward. In fact, I just finished cutting my hair with this newly-released video and it turned out really nice. I can’t wait for your next video. Thanks!
Instead starting with six can I start with one or no guard on bottom then go up with higher guard...this way I don’t have to do too many strokes...
Thanks for the tutorials man. I used your videos for guidance & motivation. I did a very decent haircut on myself. Nothing too special but it’s something to be very proud of
Sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my account password. I appreciate any help you can give me!
@Zayne Grey instablaster =)
I like how he goes straight to the point. He doesn't have a long intro doing unrelated stuff.
If You're a bald, then there are a lot of unrelated stuffs😂😂

Don’t think I’m ever goin bak to my barber. Been cutting my own hair with ya videos since March. Saved me 130$ did the math lo
Nice!
Saved 28€ per month. So totalling at 150€ so far, including tips. 😊
where are these people live them commodities prices like fortune lol
@@100schlingensief6 ik for me it's just £10 a month
Cut my own hair for 26 years. Just use mirror for back.
I’ve watched your videos on and off for a few years now, almost getting the courage to do this but not quite there. The news that my barber would be unavailable for around 1-2 months with my hair already reaching beyond comfort made me try. Your technique of reassurance and demonstration made me feel much better about the first few passes. By the time time I got to the first side, I did as suggested and started with the thickest clip and worked down to comfort level. While I didn’t follow the same lengths as you, I did have a fantastic result. Thank you and looking forward to many more trims.🎉
I have been telling/asking/begging stylist how I wanted my hair cut for years and they just did not get it. YOU DID. Thank you, I am now giving myself the best haircuts ever and I get the compliments to back it up.
This by far the best "SELF HAIRCUT" video i have seen......
😂😂😂😂😂OMG you people are crazy af
Marco jj Doro why are they crazy?
@@BobRoss-wm3lc are u really!??
Marco jj Doro no dumbass I asked you a question.... Let’s try this again. You said these people are all crazy and I’m asking you why you said they’re crazy....?
Dude! Trimming back to front on the top made my hair have the exact length I wanted to have. I never saw that tipp before and I never felt quite ready to use scissors. So very happy with all your videos. Especially the top hair tipp! 👌😎
Really it worked?
It does work very good. I used to cut my hair with clippers and it looked great then I started with scissors and it looks like crap but this week I'm getting clippers so back to looking and staying fresh :)
Assume you use a #8(1 inch) clipper guard on the top, by using this method, what length will be after the cut?
worked for me too!
@@HumbleBearcat I’ve heard cutting with the grain is usually double the length it would be cutting against the grain-so a #8 would result in about 2 inches
You're a legend, mate! Cut my hair thrice watching your videos and it looks as good as a professional barber's work. THANK YOU!
Open your eye, this cut sucks a lot I think as people like you they're never seen a good cut in your entire life
How many times is thrice
Chaim Weingarten 3x. Once, twice, thrice
luckily, after a simple tutorial you don't become a barber and you can't even imagine the blood that needs to be spit behind, you are sure that this is a good cut, and that there is no longer a need for a barber!? Then after you get ruined, you get lost, shut this channel and stop screwing people..."look good as a proffesdional barbere"shut up and stop it whit this bullshit
Chill the F out, mate. We've heard you once and ignored. 😂😂
With this COVID shutdown, all barbers shut down, I did it myself. Can't believe I've been wasting $ on haircuts all my life. It came out awesome! Thank you! :)
I watched your previous videos and cut my hair twice somewhat successfully. But I always had a hard time using scissor to cut the top by looking at the mirror. My hand just weren't steady enough and I lost the sense of depth somehow through the mirror. Thanks for this great tip using clippers on the top, I will give that a try... on my son first!
Cut my hair for the FIRST time this weekend (following your instructions) and it worked. A friend of mine said: I don´t see the difference between this cut and the one your headdresser makes. Since then, I´m thinking, "actually no need for the headdresser anymore". THANK YOU MATE.
Thanks dude! By far the best haircut instruction, I've watched many. I bought thees clippers after watching your last video but I have been holding off because I am the last person on the planet you want cutting your hair. After watching this and out of desperation I got up the nerve and it worked out well, I'll give myself a B for my first one. Clippers are totally worth it.
Its funny to think any time he wants to make a video he has to wait for his hair to grow😂
Dunno what’s funny about it 😐
that's funny to you?
Thanks
Ikr - that’s shoot funny as hell baby giro
It's funny on how you wait for him to make another video as well. 😆
Your other video allowed me survive this pandemic. Liking this one too!
This is the most helpful self haircut tutorial I have seen yet. Came from your other 3 minute beard trim video. You're putting a lot of value, definitely subscribing
Thanks for this video, by far one of the easiest to follow I have found. Plus in the description you left the guard sizes and open vs closed. I just got done with my first self haircut it’s not perfect but much better than I anticipated. Thanks
I just cut my hair and beard watching this video and some of your others as a guide and was very pleased with the results especially for a first time. Good job explaining everything! I might try cutting my own hair from now on.
Best videos on this for sure! Big thanks, I've not been to a barbers for months and don't think I'll ever go back!
His instructions worked well for my hair! Some take away thoughts for newbies like myself: 1) Unless your hair is identical to his, you will need to adapt his instructions to your style. 2) Like he mentions several times in at least the two videos of his I watched, START with the larger numbered guards first, until you are confident in your cuts. 3) Take your time, practice your movements before you actually cut. I actually cut my hair in two days, my spouse mentioned that I didn't do the fade correctly on the first try. So I went back the next morning and finished that using this video. The key is that you will develop your technique on your own. I don't cut my hair everyday, but over time I will get better and better at it and learn new tricks. Have confidence, hair grows back! Also, take a picture when you are done (using the wall mirror and selfie mode) so you have a reference photo for next time.
Excellent tips! Thanks for the help. I'm watching all your videos so I can keep my boyfriend looking good in quarantine.
I cut my own hair for the first time today. Your excellent and easy to follow instructions gave me confidence to give it a go and I'm very happy with the results! I purchased your clippers too which worked perfectly. Thank you!!
You are awesome!! I have learned greatly from your videos! I told my hubby and my little guys that they will no longer step foot in a barber shop! Because of your videos I am saving a ton of money and men look awesome!!!
This is by far the best self cutting hair tip video i have watched. Thank you for sharing
Tried this for the first time yesterday and it came out great! I surprised myself actually how easy this was. Never going to the barber again 🙏 thanks!!
Thanks for the tip on how to cut the hair on top!
Thank you for this video, you made this process super easy to understand and not mess up. I did pretty well on my sides and top for a first time self-haircut, the back was ok but I know that will take practice. 😅
Thanks for the tips dude! I was able to cut my own hair and it came out great. I wasn't able to keep the top that long, but it turned out pretty good!
This video deserved to go viral. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Those are some excellent tips for cutting the top with clippers. Thank you so much once again!
Thanks for a well explained video. Your vid took the mystery out of the process and gave me the confidence to try this after only ever managing to do a buzz cut all over before. It was a bit tricky using the mirror and I almost gave up to begin with but it came into shape in the end.
Such a helpful video....thank you so much. I've cut my husband's hair after watching your tutorial and you've explained everything so easily. I watched hundreds of videos before but yours is the best.
I appreciate your easy manner of explaining. Tomorrow im taking the chance and feel quite confident. Thanks
This is one of the best video for beginners, I really enjoyed seeing this video and doing by myself.
+1 for getting straight to the point. Excellent video my man. From Caveman to Model!
I wish I had these nape cowlicks! It's so original!
Really great video. Step by step and very nice and easy to follow. Ive done it the first time came out pretty nice and ready for a second cut soon.
This is an awesome video. This man is a master educator. Thank you!!!
Can't wait to try this! Been cutting my own hair since June and getting better and better results. Would never have tried without your encouraging videos!
Also, I'm having a blast. It's fun to take a risk and try something new.
My man this is awesome. I bought some taper guards, an this technique of going with the hair on top is gonna save me so much money in the long run!.
This was very useful and good one with only trimmer and no scissors I was looking for this type and it came up so well with all these instructions
This was very helpful, thank you!
Thanks, man. Well explained, I'm gonna try this.
Thank you so much for this video! This is exactly what I was looking for to give my husband a haircut. Your explanation was simple and easy to follow. I hope I can achieve this on him! The cut looks amazing!
Hey, TFC! I really liked your videos; very helpful, especially concerning using clippers on top. Everyone else on KZhead said use scissors on top, which made me uncomfortable. I have been cutting my husband's hair during the pandemic, and since watching your videos maybe from now on I will do it right!!!! Thanks for easy to understand videos which were not interminable (unlike everything else on KZhead...). AND you and your wife are so cute!
That top with the clippers trim worked awesome 😎 thanks
EXCELLENT VIDEO!! Thanks to you I now cut my hair by myself. Keep the videos coming!
i come back to this video every few weeks, thank u man
Really helpful. I wanted the hair shorter so I confidentially cut the top of the head on the opposite direction on the highest trimmer level. And my head is not a ball just looks very nice short hair style which I can arrange with gel. Thank you!
This is a very good tutorial for a beginner. Didnt exactly get the best look on the top. Will explore the tutorials with how to use a scissor on top.
Great vid brother. I used longer clipper guards and went against the grain on the top but same result. Never paying for a haircut again!! 👍
Many thanks to you. It is really a great tip to go in directions that hair grows! Wonderful!
Thank you so much! This is an amazing tutorial and now I have an amazing haircut)
Wow, great tutorial! Thanks for sharing!
keep this video up bro, i like watching this as a reference every time im bout2 cut my own hair. 2 cuts deep rn & ive saved at least 50 bucks so far. this is a clean tutorial fasho
been cutting my hair based on your info for over a year now 🙏
Nice work tips for clips looking foward for more vidoes
Yeah thanks bro... You and I have a similar haircut and I just bought some new trimmers so it helped out man thanks
I followed this video and it was AWESOME, your method is so simple! I was hoping you would spend a bit more time on cutting the top of the hair but hey your video is still awesome!
The one that works. Great instructions with on-screen blade settings. I keep fooling friends and family saying I went for a haircut without a mask! 😎
I love this channel, thanks for excellent tips
Excellent description!
Thanks man, I learned a lot. Keep it up!
Great job ! I have tried this once before and thats a clean cut !!
Haven't had my hair cut since Dec 2019, and I decided today that I'm gonna take care of it myself. Your videos have been a huge help! My clippers come in tomorrow!
How did it go?
@@thinkman5700 It wasn't as easy as the video made it seem, but I've been cutting my own hair pretty regularly since.
Best video on self hair cut,on youtube thankx for it
Awesome tutorial looks great 👍
Nice cut! Thanks for the tips!
nice - you have the same type of hair like me - so glad I found this.
Great video thank you with your suggestion of cutting your hair in the way it grows ‼️
ill stop always at the number 3 for the moment im not like, that confident with my skills, the first tip u gave for the upper part of the haircut was amazing, thanks bro!
That's how I started 3 months ago, now I'm doing bald fades. Fresh cut every week.
@@_Mario_PL_ can you recommend me any self cut bald fades tutorial? Would really appreciate it
@@bornagain3625 I must have watched them all. Don't just look for self cut videos, any bold fade videos will help. You'll just have to do it yourself. Just practice over and over again. I even went as far as buying Babyliss Pro FX clippers, really love them. They come with everything you'll need for a fade and they can be zero gapped, which I already did.
thank you buddy! hopefully I'll be able to do it too.
You did a nice job. I prefer a shorter top, but for longer hair it looks great.
Very happy for my first try, thanks a lot mate
about to give this a go. great video, no nonsense :)
Awesome as usual. Glad to know I should go with the flow. Could have been a disaster. Sometimes the simplest things are counterintuitive.
did my first self cut based on your video and was surprised how well it came out. my friend looked at it and said it was better than my barber! lol i guess i won't be going back
Best hair cutting video in youtube well done bro
Super clear and helpful, thanks!
Heya: just bought Wahl clippers for my super-long Covid hair (ponytail length). First try, while not salon grade, is not too bad (well, maybe a teensy bald spot in back of head... Ooops!!) Thanks for videos!
Woah this is really nice and easy. Thanks a lot bro.
Very helpful. Wish I''d found this and ditched the bowl earlier.
Awesome tutorial!
Professional Nice self hair cut
Very good demo. Looks like my method, with many tips!!!
Looks so nice! 👍
Broo I literally typed this title in the searched bar yesterday👍💥💥
Great instruction!! Thanks!!
I like your technique, thanks a lot. Needed something for my son he likes it longer on top.
Most helpful video ever 👍
Wish I had watched this BEFORE I just gave myself an undercut 15 minutes ago hahaha. My crappy old tiny clippers didn't help. But I'll definitely use these tips next time. Thanks!
I always go back to this video. Tip for long hair that stick up in the back. If you do the #6 in direction of your hair and you go over those hairs in back at top of your crown, it will cut them down easier (was hard to do with #4 clip)
You remind me of the nerdy guy from dazed and confused.. I loved that guy! Lolol.. I've been cutting my hair forever but you have the same type of hair as me so I had to watch the video
Amazon! Just did my first self cut and love it!
Thank you.
You make it look do easy. This is going to take me some practice, lol
I am not going back to the barber until 2021 at least, i just want to cut it by myself, thank you for your video and explanation.
Very nice hair!!!
Thank you so much bruh. U are the real hero ❤️🤭
I really appreciate how you cut your hair without the need to use scissors. Steps are well-explained and easy to follow. Is the lever required? My hair clipper at home does not have one. Can you also do a video where you use a hair clipper that does not require the use of the lever? Thanks!
boy sure wish I watched this before trying on my own. LOL.. oh well luckily hair grows back
