This is Ryobi brand angle grinder restoration video. The machine is very old, stuck and no longer works. I bought it at a thrift market and had the idea of ​​​​doing a restoration. So i'm very happy to receive your feedback, advice, suggestions to improve myself.

  • I had a lot of old pipes and rebar to cut up and from what I read kzhead.infoUgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBhp-3 this would be the tool for the job. Since I had never used one, I watched a couple of youtube videos and I'm so glad I did. Some really good safety tips, which I followed, and this tool did a splendid job. One good thing to know is the weight of the tool puts just about the right amount of pressure on the metal I was cutting, so I didn't have to use a lot of pressure, which is more likely to jam the tool. It made fast work of my job.

  • Any time you can refurbish an older power tool, it is a great thing. You get to use the newly refurbished tool and it doesn't end up in a landfill... Thumbs Up!

Выглядело, как будто "для галочки". > А что это за состав на винтах, крепящих статор к корпусу (18:48)?? Смазка?? Тогда это - верх дилетантства - винты при вибрации ослабятся или вообще выкрутятся - с этим нежелательным эффектом конструктора борятся как могут.. Фиксатор резьбы? - Только если лёгкий - чтобы такую длинную и тонкую резьбовую пару потом при повторном ремонте можно было раскрутить. Надеюсь - это не смазка... хотя по виду очень похоже на тот состав, чем был набит подшипник (22:00)

  • Товарищ, прежде чем вытаскивать эту часть электро инструмента, надо прежде было вытащить щётки и открутить от механики электрику, тогда бы и корпус ломать не пришлось бы.

    • Thank you for watching the video and asking me questions. From your description I think the cause of the heat is the rotor and stator rubbing against each other. You should check the bearings or the bearing housings, they may be worn

  • You damaged the Mini pignon. Should not use Hammer just open the little screw closing on the little pignon
