  • I live about 45 miles from the base where the majority of the B2s are parked in the US and get to see four or more at low altitude about twice a week when I'm playing golf. Beautiful plane and VERY quiet until they pull the nose up and go full throttle as they climb away. The exhaust is on top of the wing so most of the noise is deflected up and they can be right on top of you before you hear them, even at the altitude they fly here.

This is a B-2 bomber, it has never been shot down, the whole of Russia is cheaper than this bomber🤣The Serbs then shot down a Stealth F-117, and this is a fighter, but they shot it down by accident, although the operation lasted 2 weeks, they followed their flights at an airbase in Italy, tracked their flight route, which by mistake never changed, and when it was approximately over the point where there was artillery, they cleared a large number of shells. And now tell me again how you shot down a B2 that didn't even fly over Serbia🤣🤣🤣

When one of these thing's came down the runway, made a circle and flew over our head's. Dude, that was some bad ass shit right there, talk about goosebumps. Told my boss, "that sounded like pure freedom right there." He said. "Barlow, you got that right." God bless our military forces, and God bless our great nation. 🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍 Hell Yeah!!!!!!!!! It was rolled out on November 22, 1988 at Plant 42 in Palmdale , Ca., with the first flight taking place on July 17, 1989. We called it the "Boeing B-2" back then, as we built the wings, and the aircraft center section, while prime contractor Northrop built the cockpit section.

  • About almost 20 years ago I was in New York City on 4th of July when two of these mysterious planes came by you could see them they look like something from outer space or black one was a small one and the other one was a huge bomber type one the sound scared the hell out of you I'll never forget it it was so shaken up everything I would say they were about maybe 3,000 feet up but anyway it's just amazing how these planes were made in the United States has them they get this video five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🇺🇸💯👍

  • Some time back I was teaching a night class (7-10 PM) at East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park, CA. The class had just let out and I was walking to my car in the parking lot. At that time they had lighted tennis courts very near the parking lot and the street. As I looked up I saw something which surprised me. There reflecting the lights from the tennis courts was the underside of the B-2 turning and banking to the south. What surprised me was that there wasn't a sound from the jet engines. Military jet's engines are not muffled and to see a military jet not making a sound was to me both amazing and thrilling.

    • @@lordzuko3175 you're talking about the german Horten Ho 229 of 1943, Northrop-Grumman engineers probably took inspiration from those early German prototypes, but of course now we're talking about other aircraft and other technologies. The Ho 229 was of mixed construction, with central section in welded steel tubes and mainly wood-based alar surfaces. The wings were made with two thin plywood panels glued with a misling containing, among other things, sawdust and coal powder. If these choices were made to improve the stealth feature (i.e. invisibility to radars), protection against enemy fire, or simply because at the end of the war the Germany had a shortage of metals and the Horten needed to strengthen plywood for transonic flight, it is still a matter of debate. Control of the aircraft was entrusted to elevations and spoilers. The aircraft used a retractable tricycle landing gear, and had a parachute to slow down on landing. The pilot sat in a primitive ejection seat. Over time several similar-line aircraft have been developed by Northrop such as the Northrop YB-35, Northrop YB-49 and Northrop-Grumman B-2 Spirit.

  • It's just one giant air-brake that's taken design cues for the nose from a Swallow(bird). They took the delta wing design and turned it up to 11. The profile from the front makes it near enough impossible to tell what it is from far away too so even if it eventually got shot down, it would be too late as the payload that it has would easily reach the target due to that alone.
