  • Hand painted for that price? That's actually really awesome. Also personally I find it much more difficult to cut using short short Katanas like these. Maybe I just don't have enough experience with them. Feels like the extra weight of a longer blade helps it bite and hold on a little easier (in my experience)

    @Rocky-oq9cy@Rocky-oq9cy Жыл бұрын
    • Physics say the extra weight will help. You’re able to generate more force.

      @Notretarded1@Notretarded1 Жыл бұрын
    • @@Notretarded1 short people can have long blades. If anything, having a long blade would HELP you reach your target if you're short. You could have a 20 foot long Blade of Excalibur

      @Rocky-oq9cy@Rocky-oq9cy Жыл бұрын
    • @Rocky117 how the hell can i unsheath it then(also I'm not short as in I'm below average, it's cuz i haven't stopped growing yet.)

      @Notretarded1@Notretarded1 Жыл бұрын
    • Shorter katanas have less curvature. The curve is what helps the katana glide through the target in a slicing motion. So a shorter katana with a more linear blade takes the force more head on and blunts a majority of that force on contact. Unlike a curved blade, which allows the katana to move along the target maintaining a lot of the force behind it. At least I think that's how it works I could be wrong haha

  • I think that by putting the paint directly over the sharpened blade, they made it so that using it for high-impact cutting tests (tatami mats) ends up either knocking off incredibly small chips of paint to expose the sharpened edge or (in a more thematically anime way) the edge cuts through the paint layer to expose itself.

  • I like the genuineness this guy presents, he's fully aware that he can be honest and is honest, he also makes it fully clear that the katanas were sharp pre paint stage, and i also like how he pointed out that a lot of people will be less likely to be hurt by this because there is guaranteed to be people who buy the sharp katana version for looks and to play around with it

  • The intro makes this gold, but you know what would make it platinum? Fullmetal Alchemist and Gurren Lagann-esque eyecatches! That would be totally sick, during transition periods, it cuts to a still frame of D with a sword with a voiceover going "Sword Judgement Man." and then it cuts to a different still frame and goes "Sword Judgement Man!"

  • If you want a colored blade, I’d suggest Ichigo’s Zanpakuto, the blade is entirely black while still being sharp. The tsuba is kinda bad with it being so oddly shaped, and the chain hurting if swung too hard, but it is a good blade. I know it’s good because even me, a beginner, with no prior experience and just getting one recent, with arms on the weaker side with poor edge alignment, can still cut REALLY well, I kinda just went and tore through tall and sturdy weeds with no problem in the slightest.
