In today's video Nils Ögren and I take on a little joint project. We decided to try and forge a medieval style axe as an experiment. It ended up quite nice in the end!

It was nice that you speak.
Hi Mr. Ahman. Thanks to your videos I have a way to calm myself down. I got ADHD and sometimes it can get really bad. I stumbled upon your video a few months ago, and somehow I felt better. Now I'm a big fan of yours and have a huge respect for your work.
That's great! Thanks.
There's something soothing about incredibly hot metal 🔥
Sounds like you'd like blacksmithing. I know when my brain feels like a bunch of bees doing stuff helps
Am I the only one that keeps forgetting he can speak? :D
:)
+- in that beautifully soft spoken southern english accent of his
@@torbjornahman "Leaving some mass in the middle that can be drawn out", eh?
@@IngvarMattsson Indeed!
Personally, I'm excited to see you collab and experiment like this. Even though the video format is a bit different but your style can still be seen; in my opinion.👍
What a fantastic collaboration. I could watch you guys forge all day long.
Very well done, my nordic friend! Beautiful axe.
I love the '90-ish camera style. It kind of shows that you had fun.

stunning work as always, I would love some videos with your commentary on your creations. As someone just starting to smith I love any and all advice or reasoning on why something was done.
Yes, it turned out pretty nice!
Such a privilege to watch you work. The axe is simply beautiful and a piece of art.
I like the old format. It's what we have come to expect and appreciate from you .
Absolutely, but we didn't have time to focus on making a nice informative video this time.

Thank you for the link to Nils, and for mentoring the next generation.
Another fine piece of art my friend.
Perfect thing to do collaboration with other blacksmith for viewers but for sure for honing own skills the best way. Spoken ideas are bonus every time. Thank you for sharing.
Exquisite work and great art
Don't feel bad if you have a quiet voice. Society doesn't always let men express themselves how they really are. Mean and tough doesn't work for all situations. Quiet respectfulness is a perfectly dignified way to live.
Awesome collaboration with 2 blacksmith experts. Quite amazing. This You tuber likes and appreciates this format. One speaks excellent english. Thank you!!!!
Excellent work guys!

Un maestro!!! Saludos desde Argentina!!!
This was the most you've talked, awesome. I love your other videos when you take time out with your great kids, working in your green house and garden. I've learned a lot in the way you've showed a technique with out complex explanations. I will be getting back at it soon here after my shoulder surgery. Yah, it's my hammering arm so with all these months I've got lots of ideas from your tutelage and skills. Keep up the great work you have done so far for all us amitures out here.
Thanks. Good luck with the shoulder!
