When my Mother heard it for the first time five years ago, she hated it. She didn't hunderstood the meaning and I translated it for her because we are french. When she knews what was the meaning she asked me everytime to let her listen to this music. Today, she died six years ago, and I feel exactly like this for her... My life is broken, I've lost her too early in a kid life (I was 14) and life weren't as good as her after her death... I am 20 now and still broken. Take care of the time you have with your family, if they loves you they are a gold mine that not everyone has the chance to have

29 this year, and remembering how i used to plug my earphones in a bus after tuition and let this kick in hard. Adolescents were lucky back then to have these groups to express all the hatred, mixture of feelings through hard metal rock. Nostalgia to my college days! 10 years later, still vibing to this.

@@trvekvlt7196The main problem I specifically have with DBA nowadays is that Pontus' vocal range is never wide enough to match Jimmie's nor Zandro's levels. Both Jimmie and Zandro were always able to nail higher clean notes live, thanks to their wide range. Hell, Jimmie could even nail them in the studio without autotune.

Yeah. Pontus can do acoustic but his live performances are sub-par. Which sucks. Because I love Pontus. Their songs and recordings are still pretty awesome till this day. But live is another matter. Pontus just needs to work on his vocal range and execution. Live performances are just playback and autotune.

If it's not new age pop music or modern mumble rap garbage, there's no surprise that you're listening to this in whatever year you're currently in. Rock music has never been something done for the current times, where the release date is important and months later it becomes "old". Those of us who are metalheads have no problem going from Zeppelin to Gojira to Slayer to Cradle of Filth to Slipknot to Sabbath to Deicide to Cannibal Corpse to Metallica to Van Halen to Bullet For My Valentine to Pantera to Iron Maiden to Killswitch Engage to All That Remains to Judas Priest to Exodus to Napalm Death, etc etc without even the slightest thought of the music being released in different decades and spanning multiple generations. Our genre of music is so powerful that once a record is released, it instantly becomes timeless art. That's the type of thing that happens when you write genuine material that comes from the heart instead of focusing on creating something that can be guaranteed to sell immediately, since it's identical to the most recent best selling release, but fades into obscurity rather quickly. It's then, when saying "Still listening in 2019" becomes a surprise, when you're cranking "Barbie Girl" or some shit.

It all started back in 2009. I came across this band through a World of Warcraft video and I always find myself coming back to this band. I love that they always stay true to their type of music and it's honestly the only band that wins me over every time. Especially in difficult times every song helps to forget all my problems while listening to them. All love from Austria

Очень люблю эту группу. Но в связи с последними событиями я пришёл в расстройство. Сначала ушёл Йохан, потом Джимми, затем Алекс и теперь уже и Сандро. Я искренне уважаю Понтуса за его тяжелую работу с самого начала образования группы.Без него DBA не были бы такими яркими. Я не знаю что будет с ними в текущем составе, но желаю всем им удачи и творческих успехов. Конечно, для меня самый лучший альбом - это первый. Ну и второй тоже:) Поэтому самый лучший состав для меня был: Джимми, Понтус, Алекс, Йохан и Маркус.

That "All I have is you" just after the 3:00 mark hits me real fucking hard my eyes swell up everytime I hear it & this song has been on my favourites for years.
29 this year, and remembering how i used to plug my earphones in a bus after tuition and let this kick in hard. Adolescents were lucky back then to have these groups to express all the hatred, mixture of feelings through hard metal rock. Nostalgia to my college days! 10 years later, still vibing to this.

@@trvekvlt7196The main problem I specifically have with DBA nowadays is that Pontus' vocal range is never wide enough to match Jimmie's nor Zandro's levels. Both Jimmie and Zandro were always able to nail higher clean notes live, thanks to their wide range. Hell, Jimmie could even nail them in the studio without autotune.
Yeah. Pontus can do acoustic but his live performances are sub-par. Which sucks. Because I love Pontus. Their songs and recordings are still pretty awesome till this day. But live is another matter. Pontus just needs to work on his vocal range and execution. Live performances are just playback and autotune.
all the members that made dba great is no longer there, pontus was the main problem in the group.. He probably would want to call it "the Pontus band"

Those of us who are metalheads have no problem going from Zeppelin to Gojira to Slayer to Cradle of Filth to Slipknot to Sabbath to Deicide to Cannibal Corpse to Metallica to Van Halen to Bullet For My Valentine to Pantera to Iron Maiden to Killswitch Engage to All That Remains to Judas Priest to Exodus to Napalm Death, etc etc without even the slightest thought of the music being released in different decades and spanning multiple generations. Our genre of music is so powerful that once a record is released, it instantly becomes timeless art. That's the type of thing that happens when you write genuine material that comes from the heart instead of focusing on creating something that can be guaranteed to sell immediately, since it's identical to the most recent best selling release, but fades into obscurity rather quickly. It's then, when saying "Still listening in 2019" becomes a surprise, when you're cranking "Barbie Girl" or some shit.
