  • I discovered Breaking Benjamin in my 5th grade. Later as I grew older, I liked serenity more, moved into acoustics and RnB, in more pops and jazz. Might as well claimed all metal and rocks are pretty much trash. This, my childhood, brought me back after a decade. Love

  • For all of you who think this song is about a "sex diary" no it's not it shows in the music video. The guy loves the girl but the girl is depressed and lost. She doesn't even know who she is or how she feels about the guy and keeps pushing him away and it's killing him. The girl ends up committing suicide. (hence the grave at the end) and the guy doesn't know why she did it or how she fully felt if he loved her or not. He finds her diary and try to figure it out, while asking her what to do, and even considers killing himself (if I had to, I would put myself right beside you) He's trying to "find his place" in her life, her heart, her diary. Finally, he gives up with the diary, burns it (as I burn another page) and tries to forget about it (as I look the other way) but still can't get it out of his head, (still I try to find my place...) as in it'll eat at him forever

  • I discovered this song when I was around a month away from turning 13 years old this is a song that actually got me into metal. Now at 21 years of age and after a little bit more than 8 years of listening I actually understand what is the song about. It is actually about a breakup in the beginning lyrics describes the eerie feeling you get when you're indecisive about the hate or love that you have for the person you're with and you can't understand do you want to hurt them or not. Later on as he sees that something's getting in the way and that their relationship is about to break he still wants to stay in her diary(memory or in her heart) during the bridge heartbreak gets stronger and he wants to feel the love towards another woman that is not jane or any woman and he thinks to himself what did he become, why is he so desperate to feel loved again. As he realizes that the relationship is over and she's not coming back he burns the page of her(burns his own memory of certain moments, or moves on) he still hopes that he is the Diary of Jane(in Jane's memory and that he isn't forgotten or looked upon as just a bad memory)
