Joshua Buatsi and Dan Azeez both want to be world light-heavyweight champions; to get closer to achieving that dream, they will have to fight each other, despite their friendship.
The mates sat down with me for a face off with a difference. I want to know their individual journeys, motivations and goals.
No doubt there will be a more heated face off closer to the fight. But, this for the people that want to know the stories of the men behind the punches.

These face offs are best done when their is a real rivalry or dislike between the two fighters, otherwise it just feels like a two way interview. Good luck to both of them, it could be exciting but because they're both friends I'm not sure how far they're willing to go.
When both these fighters are together, it's plainly obvious why one is loved and the other is bitterly jealous of the others nature. I'll leave it to you to decide who's who.

Two fighters who don’t believe themselves, both offered the fight against Bivol but turns it down, especially buatsi look how long his been in the game and he turnt down the money and the shot at all the glory smh
Is Bivol going anywhere? He is 32. He will be around for at least two more years. I think that fight will eventually get made. At a time when either has a better chance
Respect both guys are friends, but it doesn't make for a exciting build up. Hopefully it's a good fight tho.

This is a bout of skills and desires. You know boxing is a sport, not a playground fight? This was on itv news. More coverage than most fights get. People who don't know them have a chance to learn about their motivations. Not cliches lines about knocking someone's head off... True fans can see that

Hold on a second let's not forget both men were offered a world title fight against Bivol both men declined the opportunity to be a world champion. Is Buatsi banking on Canelo beating Bivol in their rematch and he Buatsi the mandatory to a monetary life changing fight. Azzez and Charlo possible banana skins
