@@abdihassan7208 bc they played in 3-4 (4 backers, 3 lineman) schemes instead of 4-3. In 3-4 the outside linebackers are mainly pass but one may still drop to cover flats depending on the call., and the other 2 linebackers control the coverage behind whatever rush they bring

Because he was the GOAT. LT was another level to Ray Lewis, another level to Aaron Donald. When you watch the footage of him playing run defense or pass defense he looked like a lion hunting its prey, its hard to describe the speed and intensity of pursuit until you see it on film.

Junior Seau was the reason I started watching football as a kid. Representing us Island boys to the fullest. One thing he did not get enough recognition for his pass rush. Junior could have been at least a top 10 pass rusher if they gave him more chances. Rest in Paradise #55forever

Bellichik is a real football history mind. You can tell he enjoys talking about the players from the past and the how the game has evolved. I think he is a good guy at heart, but is just an intense coach who has to do what it takes to win with the players he has. I'm not a Pat's fan at all not a big Billichik fan, but I do like hearing him explain the game and evaluate players from the distant past to the present.

LT is one of the best 3-4 players of *all time* , forgot position or defense/offense. He is streets ahead of any linebacker who every played. He flew around like no defensive player who has ever stepped on the field. Freak athlete, incredible instincts, remarkable tackling fundamentals and a tolerance for pain that was legendary.

Lawrence Taylor is the best football player I’ve ever seen. I’m 52 years old so I’ve seen a good amount of them. I’m also a Cowboys fan so I still remember the fear we would have facing him. He was like a damn terrorist. You didn’t know when or where, but he was going to absolutely wreck something when you played him. Jerry Rice might be the greatest offensive player imo, but if I could pick any player from any position in any era, I’m taking LT all day and twice on Sunday.

Ray Lewis was one of the last of a dying breed of NFL player, a player who suited up in the last era before the league became one big yellow hankie party. The “defenseless receiver” rule was just coming into focus toward the tail end of his career.

Coach has shown another side to his personality. When it is time for business, it is time to work, but when it is time to have fun and relax it seems he can do that. I know people in my life who were difficult to work with because of their intensity, but when you spent time off work or see them with their families they become another person. It is refreshing to see.

Dome Patrol. Saints used to hold training camp in my home town. Got to meet Sam Mills, Rickey Jackson among many others. Don't think I've ever seen another LB group more responsible for a playoff birth.

Ted Hendricks = most underrated LB of all-time. The guy was insanely smart, instinctive and tough. He was so versatile, he would block kicks on special teams like nobody who ever played the game. He cover pass plays as well as he could blitz. Just a truly amazing and totally complete football player.

Dome Patrol. Saints used to hold training camp in my home town. Got to meet Sam Mills, Rickey Jackson among many others. Don't think I've ever seen another LB group more responsible for a playoff birth.

I could listen to Ray Lewis talk football forever. I'm Not even the closest thing to a Ravens fan but they had a lot of great players , Ray being one of them.

Ted Hendricks = most underrated LB of all-time. The guy was insanely smart, instinctive and tough. He was so versatile, he would block kicks on special teams like nobody who ever played the game. He cover pass plays as well as he could blitz. Just a truly amazing and totally complete football player.
