The toughest guy in NFL history crying because he loves his BRO!! I feel that.
Real recognize real. And that was real, brotherly, agape love. The kind of brotherly love that Lombardi talked about. Lawrence showed in that moment what Lombardi and others.talked about. So real.
@@BigBlack81 well said, very real...btw is Philia love....Agape is the love to God, Philia is Brotherly love!!
@@sammymorales6838 My apologies for the mix up. You're right.
Sammy DeGuido make me wanna call my brother 😂
Bro I felt where Lawrence was coming from because me and a teammate had somewhat the same situation
it really hits seeing LT cry, U know something's real when HE'S crying
Greenblood 52 I saw Taylor in person signing autographs in my home state at a sports memorbilia store. He should sue LA DAINIAN TOMLINSON FOR COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can see how he wants to be accepted by Carson and felt extreme sadness at thinking he was mad at him. People who never played the game of football will never understand the amount of respect these guys have for each other even if they hated each other's guts on the field.
@Jessie Jonez Eventually they all will suffer from that.Carson is dealing with it right now and he has a grandson whom he is dead set against playing the sport that made him a household name.
@Jessie Jonez ah so someone being a human being and having emotions is brain damage?
@White Oak Grove Church Low blow!!!!!!!
Man... When Harry Carson said “Everybody calls this man LT, I call this man Lawerence Taylor.” That moment gave me chills...
"I didn't invite him but he came" that is love knowing someone needs you whether they'll admit it or not... being there when it counts
I wish this was like an hour longer. I could watch these guys talk all day.
I agree. I keep watching and watching. Willie Lanier was my hero when I was a kid growing up in KC and each of those other LB's were all time favorites. The brotherhood that these men share is awesome!
Yes, I agree. Their stories are legendary
Me too
Very powerful interview on many levels
On me, me too bro...
Harry Carson has to be one of the classiest players ever. He also deserves a lot of credit for grounding that defense while LT freelanced.
L.T. the G.O.A.T. regardless
One of the most underrated HOFrs simply due to the fact that he play half of his career with LT
Harry Carson became the brains of the defense.
Facts
LT and the other Giant teammates call Harry Carson "The Captain". Super Bowl XXI coin toss - Broncos sent several players as team captains, Giants sent Carson as the Captain. That says it all.
Ray Lewis is one of the greatest and I love how he sits and listens to everyone else’s stories. It’s all respect . He’s a good listener and motivator and leader .
He’s the Goat MLB. Taylor the Goat OLB
I mean ray lewis chose his number bc 5+2 equals 7 and 7 is gods number so…
Ray is the GOAT middle linebacker, but he becomes a kid again talking to these greats.
Bro Ray made them guys play Adalius Thomas Ed Hartwell Bart Scott and others were a shell of themselves after they left us. Ray is just a motivator a battery a guy who's gonna make you know that you can do it… I love all these guys and RIP to Derrick Thomas as the guy up top said…🕊️🕊️🏈🏆
He's also good at killing people
To have LT crying and feeling like that and shedding actual tears (one of the hardest and most harcore/intimidating players ever), shows how much football means and how defining and changing this sport really is. This is one of the most changing and influential things in history. This is why I love football. All day every day.
Andrew Roper I couldn't have said it better myself. Amen
Micah Parsons is a combination of all these guys.
@@gilliammark5083 Stop
@@jakobwedel3168 He’s that now! He will be better in LT in 3 years. LT got high which messed up his career. Watch Parsons next season. BEAST!

A reporter asked Tom Brady, "How do you get Bellicheck to smile?" He said, just mention Lawrence Taylors name. 😂😂
#BigFacts Bellichick loves Lawrence Taylor more than his own family, Brady, and SB rings combined.
OG Bazz this is true
Or Ed Reed
What about Belichick?
I like the nickname that LT said they called Belichick in his early days in NY... DOOMSDAY.
They gotta do a roundtable for every position
I heard thats what they are doing. If this is any indication, it should be amazing
That's a great idea. Obviously would be cool to see the big ones like RB and QB but imagine having 5-7 legendary linemen? Never get to hear from those guys!
James Kanney facts lineman are underrated imo
punter table with pat
James Kanney that would be great
LT: “When did I miss a tackle?” 😂
I keep remembering a story I heard Michael Jordan tell a long time ago about Lawrence Taylor. Both went to North Carolina, and on the weekend there was an outdoor court they used to play basketball on and they were playing. So at some point, LT approached and called next game. Problem was no one wanted to play with Lawrence cause he had earned a rep, he was hyper competitive and played dirty as hell, he'd foul the hell outta anyone, and insist you stayed & played again if he lost, so they told him they were playing just this game then they had to split. So, he says Lawrence stood there staring at everybody intimidating as hell, then he walked over to the goal, & jumped up and pulled the rim & net both down, & said y'all ain't playing no more then you won't be needing the damn goal. So he took it back to his dorm room with him. Mike said we just looked at each other and laughed......
Wow 2 goats
LT a senior, MJ a frosh.
Lol!!!!
Go tarheels!!!
I can confirm this anecdote, as I was there. At the time I was a redshirt senior on the football team, second string placeholder for the kicker. 6'0", 169 lbs and not just an animal in the weight room but a flesh-and-blood inspiration to teammates like LT. Would put up 185 on the bench for 5-6 reps, no problem. Yup. Any event, I had taken an interest in MJ during that time period and was attempting to teach him how to do a fadeaway jumper. He stuck his nose up at me back then but I noticed years later he employed that very move, to the elongation of his HOF career. But, yes, I can confirm this LT-MJ connection, true story.
“It took almost 20 minutes” lolololol
🐐🐐🐐 moment😭
I'm yo 100th like
LT like " I could never get those 20 min of my life back"😅
Never clicked so fast!! The league misses great defense play... all these guys are LEGENDS.
Mahck,Donald,Gilmore,Ramsey. Boy are you stupid or something those very very great actually legendary preformers how about actually watch defensive players instead of talking like their isn’t anything going on.

Marvin Rivas lol I didn’t forget them or anything I just didn’t wanna name the whole defense star list lol.
The fact that LT is sitting at a table with Middle linebackers let you know how good he was. LT had to be at that table in order to make this mean something
The amazing thing about this video is that Ray Lewis embodies all these linebackers. The intensity of Singletary, the intelligence of Lanier, the leadership of Carson and the pure athleticism of LT. It's amazing.
Great observation...
But there's only one that sat there and played the position the best...... Lawrence Taylor.
@@johncummings5350 LT is great no doubt about it. He's on the Mt. Rushmore of LB's. I'd say LT had the biggest impact on the position post Butkus, but Ray might have played the position all around better than LT.
@@johncummings5350 LT was outside LB, the rest were inside LB's
@@johnb.2006 They'd be 1 and 1A for me. Both simply took over games. I grew up in Jersey...watched LT every week.....he's absolutely the best I've seen.....I also saw plenty of Ray Lewis....and if anyone was in Taylors category......it would be him
This was awesome, when LT said that him an Harry Carson fell out and Harry put his arms around him,At that point it was no longer about football it was about the power of forgiveness,It bought tears to my eyes!!!! God bless!!!!
Kevin Jenkins me too
And he could play a little bit 🤣🤣
Lawerence Taylor has a huge heart. You can feel his pain from past mistakes. I know that pain
I love Harry Carson. Class act.
that man is a Gentleman
You can tell Ray Lewis was having the time of his life listening to all these greats.
His tears are genuine that’s friendship right there !!
That moment between Carson and Taylor was something else. That's love. That's friendship.
Harry Carson is the coolest dude ever. He loves Lawrence Taylor 100% unconditionally to the point where Taylor has to bawl up to express it.
That moment with L.T. and Harry Carson brought tears 😢 to my eyes. NYG4Life.

Harry Carson has such a magnetic personality, loved him in this the most.
What also made Harry Carson great was he was consistent throughout his career. I remember him balling in the late 70's before LT on bad Giants teams but you wouldn't know it unless they were on national TV.
Kevin Prima now my generation has Antonio Clown... But my generation has Larry Fitzgerald too!!!
@Kevin Prima For real. For every primadonna in the league today, there are 10 stand up professionals of the same grade and quality. That's fact. This league wouldn't exist otherwise.
Harry Carson sounds like a sensei. I wish I'd had a teacher like him in my life. Each one of these dudes accomplished so much in their pro careers and maybe had an impact for the better in changing some mindsets in our society. Thank you! 🙏❤
Harry Carson said he was going to become a teacher but he got drafted instead he is very educated man

@@dylanstingley5065 Naw, man. Back then, you had to read and watch the weekly NFL Films shows on TV.
To have your mentor talk about your greatness holding your shoulder while you can’t speak because of the grief and regret, was one of the most human moments I’ve seen. Someone who has seen your highs and lows standing up for you during your moment of need is a truly human moment of great significance. I think looking back at things Lawrence was a very hurt and wounded person. But he could only express these feelings with anger, and facilitated this anger on the football field to a point of MVP status. It’s crazy that such an incredible athlete could be so vulnerable emotionally. Really shows the human aspect of everything, he’s just a wild person who can’t express energy and emotion verbally, so he does it physically to great applause from unaware onlookers, who don’t understand the true nature of this wild, but human athlete.
Well said
Them Singletary highlights gave me chills. Monsters of The Midway. 🐻 I almost cried when I saw LT crying. All legends at that table.
The moment with LT and Carson was a beautiful moment and lesson in the power of love and forgiveness - even amongst warriors....
Priceless moment. On par with Magic Johnson and Isaiah Thomas reconnecting. Utterly priceless.
My only problem with this video was that it wasn’t long enough.

Seeing the all time most badass linebacker in the history of NFL cry over his bro gives you goosebumps. This was the best episode
you can tell how intelligent Harry Carson is from just hearing him talk for 30 seconds
Harry Carson is one of the most sincere and genuine guys ever
I totally agree!
Harry is an old-school, but tough gentleman.
The reason LT became emotional, and the real reason behind their falling out is because LT, as great as he was, respected Harry and, on a deep level, needed Harry's approval. When LT was struggling with his demons, he thought that Harry disapproved of him, and that killed LT.
The significance of Willie Lanier is he was the 1st Black MLB!!!! Raised in my Hometown of Richmond VA.... Know him personally... Played with his nephews.... He is the Father of all those at that table!!!!
Melton Bunn Yes they all owe their careers to him someone referred to LT as the Don and that was wrong.Mike Singletary wore #63 in college but was not allowed to use that number in the pro's.
Melton Bunn I met Willie Lanier at football camp in Putney VT. In 1974 when I was 13. He was so nice to me and took the time to really talk to me. I still have his autograph till this day some 45 years later. That was the second biggest thrill for me. The biggest was meeting Larry Little that same week as I was and still am a Dolphin fan. Both were excellent human beings.

Lanier was the guy who came after Butkus that was scarey. 6'1 250. 2 time Ncaa Hwy wrestling Champ. He was a beast.
This LB round table was the best of the Top 100 series. Classiest and most talented group of men. I could listen to these guys all day long.

Chiseled Adonis facts!
Patrick was a beast! Funny how the University of TN didn't want him! LOL

I was a big Patrick Willis fan going back to his days at Ole Miss. I wanted him to be a Steeler to be honest. When he was drafted to the 49ers, I still followed him. With his abilities, I figure he would be part of a team that need a big turn around in a serious way. Willis did his thing and retire for a better future.

Pepper Johnson held it down too!

Ray is an amazing player but his preacher routine is played out lmaoooo

Seeing Lawrence Taylor actually get emotional when talking about his relationship with Harry Carson shows that everyone has a soft side.
Perhaps. But more likely an addict trying to cope with the terrible things he's done to those closest to him--things that had been altogether unfathomable and that remain beyond pardon, regardless of the forgiveness and grace he's received from family and first-rate friends like Carson. That's my bet, anyway.
He's done his best to tease the demonic side of his vices and his personality. And he's alot better for doing that. And that's what makes him a legendary player.
Lot of those guys he tackled and sacked got soft sides now too. lol
Everyone one has a soft side even thugs, we're only human.😂
LT is ALWAYS emotional
Seeing LT cry made me cry.

Massive respect Carson and Lanier. We know ad naseum the others. Few segments ever give us impressions of Willie and Harry.
It's nice to see Harry Carson getting his due for what he did to allow LTs greatness to really come through. I've always felt that Carson was one of a very select club: underrated Hall of Famers.
During Harry Carson's 12 years with the Giants, opponents averaged just 80 yards/game. Very few teams successfully ran on the Giants when Carson was patrolling the middle.
