For everyone hating on this video, these torts are obviously well taken care of and very healthy. They are also well socialized and loved based on how they react to human handling. The food you see is a healthy mash for them, not the dry pellets that are not very good for torts in the long run.

Its amazing how long Tortioses can live. I remember one woman in her close to 60s or 70's who had her pet tortoise since she was a kid and its still kicking. Quite awesome how they can live to 100 years or more. I understand what the fable of the tortoise and Hare means "Slow and steady wins the race"

I think, this vid gives a wrong idea about how to keep tortoises. Everyone who wants turtoises now: please get some more information! They're not easy to keep at all, especially if you live in a climate zone, that's very different to their natural habitate. Think about the costs. Keeping turtoises costs a few hundret bugs and you should do the investment, before you finally get your tortoise. 1. You shouldn't move and touch them if not neccessary. Just keep them in the same safe area all the time, even at night. If possible, let them be outside. 2. It's the best, to feed them fresh herbs and grass. These pellets habe the wrong nutrien ratio for them. Uh, and every future owner: please check out your local shelter. Sadly, it is very common, that people abandon their tortoises.

Once you’ve watched a video of mango worms eating a dog (and various other animals) alive you may want to rethink that statement. I likely would have agreed with you until I knew about the existence of these disgusting parasites. On the whole of course you are correct and I understand your sentiment and commend it; but I cannot fathom the beauty in a mango worm. And once you’ve seen a video of what they can do to a puppy and the like you simply cannot ‘unsee’ it.

Dear humans,us tortoises are wild animals rescued by great people who take care of us and its amazing. They feed us fruit salads and give us nice warm baths what we can't always do out in the wild. We are greatful for the love u guys show towards us. A young girl named Samantha even loves her tortoise so much that she sometimes sleeps with it next to her head on her pillow 😳

Turtles and tortoises are different animals.. turtles only have flippers (since they live in water) and tortoises back legs aren't flippers,they live in land.

For anyone here who wants a tortoise that doesn’t grow up to be giant I would recommend a Russian tortoise, they get no larger than a paper plate (at least mine doesn’t)

@@dovydass7020 see I am live in himachal pradesh. They died 8 months ago in the month of January. The temperature in himachal pradesh that time is 1 or 2 celcius. And they were around two months ago. I tried my best to keep them warm. But the temperature dropped alot so they could not resist the cold. So they died. I tried alot to keep them warm. But they died.

Its amazing how long Tortioses can live. I remember one woman in her close to 60s or 70's who had her pet tortoise since she was a kid and its still kicking. Quite awesome how they can live to 100 years or more. I understand what the fable of the tortoise and Hare means "Slow and steady wins the race"

I think, this vid gives a wrong idea about how to keep tortoises. Everyone who wants turtoises now: please get some more information! They're not easy to keep at all, especially if you live in a climate zone, that's very different to their natural habitate. Think about the costs. Keeping turtoises costs a few hundret bugs and you should do the investment, before you finally get your tortoise. 1. You shouldn't move and touch them if not neccessary. Just keep them in the same safe area all the time, even at night. If possible, let them be outside. 2. It's the best, to feed them fresh herbs and grass. These pellets habe the wrong nutrien ratio for them. Uh, and every future owner: please check out your local shelter. Sadly, it is very common, that people abandon their tortoises.

Dear humans,us tortoises are wild animals rescued by great people who take care of us and its amazing. They feed us fruit salads and give us nice warm baths what we can't always do out in the wild. We are greatful for the love u guys show towards us. A young girl named Samantha even loves her tortoise so much that she sometimes sleeps with it next to her head on her pillow 😳

Turtles and tortoises are different animals.. turtles only have flippers (since they live in water) and tortoises back legs aren't flippers,they live in land.
