I've watched a lot of videos related to IELTS test and for the first I'm really inspired by a candidate, she spoke very well and as an English Learner I honestly think that I want to sound like her , I want to have the same fluency, the same calm and being able to use a lot of advance vocabulary just like she did , the level she has is definitely the level that i want to reach

@@SahifaYousofi-dv6bp yes, what info do you need? If you need a general advice from me, I took the review seriously by allotting 5 hours straight in the morning and 5 hours at night. I was so scared of failing that's why I did intensive self-studying.

Classes helped me with the grammer and movies improved my listening and speaking skills. I also had some foreign friends to talk to and practice.

@@alima.mederk Hello, sure. In task one there were some pie charts and in task two I was supposed to talk about sport facilities should be for all people or only top athletes. The speaking experience was pleasant, I had barely any stress and that was why I managed a good score, I was asked questions about being a student and video games and famous people in first part, in second part I had to describe an important journey in which there was a delay and the last part was mainly about transportation.

Your speaking mock videos are extremely beneficial for me because I always answer questions first and then I listen to the band 9 respond. Hi Chris, I just wanted to say thank you for your speaking videos-they really made a difference in my IELTS prep. Before watching them, I thought I had to use fancy words and idioms to do well. But your videos showed me a different approach. I stayed relaxed and didn't stress about using big words. I ended up with a 7 in speaking, although I was hoping for a 7.5. I would like to mention one thing, my exam was on 9 march and honestly that day whole exam pattern felt very tough. However, I got a band score of 7 on my first try, which I'm pretty happy about. Your videos were a big part of my success.

Thank you for sharing this Speaking quite easy but but it is very difficult to speak it in front of a stranger especially examiner😢.
The more prepared you are the less stressed you’ll be. Start off practicing by yourself, then someone you fully trust, then someone you know well, then do it with a stranger.

😢 normally if i speak like this to my teacher he will only give me 6 in overall. Like I've watched so many videos with people scoring band 9 and i can tell that i speak with the same level like them. But i guess my teacher just want to lower my score by some means. Now feeling like he would do the same to writing so I'm confused
Two possibilities: 1. You think you’re much better than you really are. 2. Your teacher isn’t as good as you think they are. Most of the time, it’s both. If unsure, hire the best teacher possible who you’re sure has real examining experience.
Based on your speaking in your asmr videos, I believe that you are much more better than a band 6 so you should hire a higher skilled teacher I guess
I think you should change your teacher if you don't want to feel nervous about this
She's very good, she just speaks slowly and with pauses but I think that's absolutely normal, I speak like that in my own language, imagine in another language. I think her pronunciation and vocabulary are very good, and her accent as well.
As far as your comment is concerned may be there is something wrong with the tutors or you, but beside this you also have to know most of the teachers give little bit low marks to encourage the learners to do more. The case is that if they mark the high marks then students may not care too much about his practice so. For example if some students is giving an answer of band 8 then the teachers may give him 7.5. However, if the students is saying 8.5 band answer and teachers give 6.5 then this is totally unfair.

Hello, Chris! I would like to thank you for all of your content. I had my IELTS exam last week and my result is 7.5 The thing is, i didn’t really practice writing, reading or speaking. My insecurities made me fear to see if i was doing well or not it mock tests, so i avoided the full quality practice and was just listening to your videos and doing a lot of little tasks instead. I was surely risking my band by not embracing my fear. But now I gained a score that is satisfying to the whole global educational system despite all of my escapism and all thanks to your advice. I guess I could even have an 8.0 or 8.5 if I studied harder.

Ever since, I was tought to speak with more advanced vocabulary,speed and soon,however when I became one of the members of IELTS advantage, I knew what things I should do and what things I shouldnot. Thank you Chris. But I have question. When I'm in the exam I tend to be calm and speak in the same pace kinda boring and my teacher told me that I should show off my self and make the examiner happy. What do u think, should I do that.
After a 2 week prep equipped with only your free videos and the free mock tests from British Council, got a band 8. I could've gotten a better score in writing with more time but still pretty happy with the score that I got. Thank you.

I had my IELTS speaking test 2 weeks ago. I keep forgetting to leave a comment when I saw my result. I listened to your advice on the speaking test especially the part where you advised that test takers should speak naturally and I got a band 8.0 in speaking. I never attended any IELTS classes or read any book prior to the test. I only watched this video the morning of my test.
