I think adoration is a strong word here. They like Etho because he’s personable, funny, charismatic and can take being insulted like a champ. It helps that Cleo has none of the hero-worship most of the other hermits do as they never watched Etho at all, ever. She sees him as a regular dude. And Etho must really like that. Plus Cleo is funny, personable, and can take insults as good as they can give it. They’re a perfect matchup! Just watch any of their TCG matches where they volley trashtalk back and forth. Would love love love to see an Etho/Cleo survival series. Hardcore would be awesome. It would likely be short but I bet they would prefer that. Even better - add Bdubs!

Bdubs IS an ethogirl and is the most adoring of Etho’s admirers. Ever since their very first meeting in Minecraft/speaking to each other during RFTW you could tell Bdubs was SMITTEN (in a platonic way… though he did call Etho sexy completely seriously during an OOGE series followed up immediately by “I’m married”). It was adorable.

As someone who watches Ethos life episodes first I gotta say this is probably the best interaction in all the series so far. @@upisntdownsillyEtho stopped doing PvP to focus on redstone long before the combat changes ever came out, so not only is he not good with the new combat, he also just hasn’t done it in a long time and you know what they say: use it or lose it. He’s terrible at PvP now, but that doesn’t detract from the fact that he used to be amazing at it!

Basically, yeah. He's part of the Yogscast and those were basically their golden age, but some of his more recent fame comes from his Fortnite content
Very very popular, he sang some of the most popular Yogscast parody songs, like Screw the Nether, How Do I Craft This Again, and a few others i cnt think of right now. But he was also in a lot of the Yogscast minecraft videos during their prime. I remember him specifically from that time and I was shocked to see him still active with modern day minecraft youtubers.
