Market research, perhaps? Due to the M67 being designed with the L322 Range Rover in mind, the engine block has a starter motor flange on the right side of the flywheel for RHD models (M57 and M67 Training Manual).

Maybe must to be change head gasket/ gaskents. Now it is a problem. I will use an automobile till the end. And after when engine stops I will make a capital repair

@@Stoweded I am from Ukraine and in my country is very popular chip tuning of disel engines m57d30,n57d30,but no any information about m67.May be somebody have information about HP and tourqe limitation? I am owner of e60 535d, stage 2 370 HP and 760 torque.

Diesels tend to last longer for many reasons including diesel being a lubicant rather than a solvent like gasoline. So 400k on a diesel is like 200k on gas engine. With that said, the higher compression ratio on diesels will give you more blowby then a gasser but doesn't seem to bother the engine too much

@@brarautorepairs even though still sound of knocking might show that there is inner wear on camshafts or something related to piston rings, it still pulls but sounds like crap. Thats my point.
