  • Almost all of those things I can do, but I'll never have a cold shower in the morning. I just cannot bring myself to do it.

  • Coach, this is great advice, I have been on the 8 hr calorie intake (eat 6am -> 2pm) for 3 years and it works. I wasn't a fat bastard to begin with but here in the US at 182 lbs I was considered skinny...today I'm at 163lbs and have never felt better. I have been a cyclist for over 20 years starting at age 53....I'm working on the need to follow your advice on the type food, btw I dropped alcohol a few months back, I regret not dropping it earlier. I hope all the subscribers see this video.

  • Gave up the booze 17 months ago, sleep regular, swim in Loch Insh ("the dook") almost all year round (it freezes at times)...back on the kettlebells.... I'm going back to keto/IF though, and weaning myself off of caffeine... In the last 2 weeks well planted back in the world of Z2, 3 x 3hr rides a week and staying well lower than the "Z3 Fanny" trap, but now it's time to get on the Sufferfest (MAP focused) for 2 x 1hrs a week and hit the intervals indoors

  • What would you recommend for night shift worker .I have no fixed shift pattern .

    @ronnietaylor9377@ronnietaylor93779 ай бұрын
    • It’s tough but you can do what is best for sleep and then really dial into nutrition and hydration. Research shows that shift workers may fall into ‘social jet lag!’ (Crap term) but just means that the so called experts reckon that you’ll eat shit because of your irregular sleep. Prove them wrong. Just control the variables that you have full control over.

  • Great vid. I really think holding my breath in the tub when I was a pre-teen with my casio watch really taught my body how to deal with O2 more efficiently. I got up to 4 minutes.

    @brianlockwood3588@brianlockwood35889 ай бұрын
    • That is cool. You should try holding your breath now after giving the Wim Hof method a go. Bet you could do 5 minutes after a little practice.

    • I do eat healthy. Enough carbs etc. 4-5 meals a day. I find that if i dont eat before bed after a nightshift i can't sleep because of hunger. What i struggle the most with is day time work. Insomnia before the first shift in the cycle always.

  • I've always believed that if you stoke the fire a little at a time it burns longer, that's how I eat. I find a big meal just makes me tired, have you heard of Moringa leaf?
