Mark Williams is such a class act. Never saw a sportsman that doesn't give a shit. Would be amazing if he does well.
He gives a ton of shit. He's a fierce competitor, a shark, just like Hendry and Ronnie are. Micheal Holt calls them the psychopaths. he's not wrong
Hes all class, great talent, lovely to watch.
Different gravy is Mark. Nobody quite like him. Was gutted he didn’t make the final again in 2022 when he equalled Hendry’s record of 16 centuries in a single World Championship. He was superb & deserved it.

I don't really like Rob's interview style. Especially when it bounces off someone like Mark Williams but he still can't help himself. Always trying to start drama and spin grand stories when guys like Willo just don't see it that way.
agreed, to me he's an absolute try hard but the players generally seem ok with him
completely disagree, snooker is much more enjoyable to follow and engage with if we get as much personality out of everyone as we possibly can and Rob's enthusiasm is infectious. Anyway I'm not quite sure what else you would have wanted him to ask Willo here? The only thing Williams has to say about the actual game was that he tries his best and doesn't worry about the opponent. There would be no point in interviews if that's all we got. But in this case Rob got a good few pieces of other interesting stuff here with Williams talking about being nervous when he watches Page and plays poker etc.

Not that Mark Williams gives a toss either way but, I like him and I'm sure most people that watch snooker do as well. Probably cursed him now but I'm backing Mark to win it this year.

Mark has got the worst possible first round draw in Si Junhui who is certainly a future World Champion. If he can be beat Si I think he will have a real chance of getting to the final.
