  • In 2011 I gave a presentation to a sociology class about how cat and dog carcasses end up being rendered down into pet food, and the class went wild with questions. Literally NO ONE knew about this, but I was able to prove that it's true by presenting an interview from a person at a meat processing plant who admitted to it. The euthanasia drug is sometimes still detected in trace amounts in the food as well. Bobby is the first person I've heard say this since. It needs to be a mainstream discussion but since corporations rule this country instead of well-meaning folk, of course they won't talk about it. Thanks Bobby.

    • In my humble opinion- during the pandemic I don't recall seeing any news agencies or government agencies that explained to people how to improve their immune system. I believe there's a reason why they didn't mention this. People would begin to research their food and see how corrupted actually is. The government allows these companies to poison us. There's a lot of money to be derived from an unhealthy Society. Healthy people do not generate as much $$$ as unhealthy people. We live in a profit over people mentality Society. The fact that the USA still allows the use of GMOs speaks volumes.

  • Would love to see you do a video where you talk about how to choose better options on a tight budget. Unfortunately better options are usually more expensive.

    @sarahhays235@sarahhays23510 ай бұрын
    • It is true that the better food options cost more. I once heard that you will pay for it either way; cheap processed foods now lead to health issues down the road. Pay more in healthcare or pay more for food and have more health. That said, joining CSAs or shopping the farmers market for locally and sustainably (an often organically) grown veggies/fruits/ meats, spending more time in the kitchen learning to prepare meals from scratch (which does not have to be time intensive) and eating out less has saved my family a lot of money. Also, I do not purchase prepackaged snacks - even the healthier versions (like granola bars). They are too expensive; fruits and nuts are great snack alternatives. Growing some of your own food, canning, pickling and freezing, baking your own bread also help. There will be upfront costs to purchase supplies (like a second freezer, or canning supplies) but like anything else, if you use it long enough you will more than make up for those initial costs and begin to save money. Purchasing large quantities of meat (like quarter of a cow) from a local farmer drives the cost per pound down and the meat can be kept frozen for well over a year. Knowing your farmers cuts out the middle man (grocery store) and can mean more $ goes to the farmer while costing you less. Nothing about these suggestions are convenient, which means more of your time will be necessary to reap the benefits. But the benefits far outweigh the alternative. That said, I too would love to see Bobby make a video along these lines. Best wishes!

Our vet said “grain free” was a terrible disservice the dog food industry marketing did to the health of our pets. The rise of heart disease in dogs since this trend appeared was overwhelming, so alarming in fact, She had us read the study U.C. Davis (a top notch vet school) did on the subject. • There are some good YT channels on preparing homemade food gor cats and dogs. One is Lucky Ferals (I looked at this channel's vids for cats since I only have cats). She includes info on adding all the required vitamins and minerals (taurine for cats is super important) to the homemade meats-based, w some veggies, foods. The only thing I was skeptical on in these vids was use of raw store-bought eggs or meat. Think cooked is best to avoid possible bacteria. Maybe run this idea by your vet (if you're interested in trying it, or perhaps you already have tried it?), if you have a good honest one.

  • Where does Bobby find the space availability to film 10-30 second talking clips in a grocery store? The grocery stores in my area are packed with impatient people who will run you over if you spend too much time blocking their aisle. There is also the photo bombers as well, or video bombers in this case.

  • PLEASE do an expose on Stevia in the Raw! The current version at Costco is 95% 'organic sugar" The get away with it because the FDA doesn't require percentage quantities on anything less than a gram and guess what, each packet is .8 gram. A typical sweetener packet is 2gms, consequently the Stevia in the Raw is less sweet and requires more packets per dose. I was using 3 packets a cup of tea and figure I was inadvertently consuming 8 - 10 grams of "organic sugar" daily or 30 to 40 carbs of sugar! That's equivalent to Stevia in the Raw sneaking a can of sugar coke into my Keto regime!? That certainly didn't do my Keto any good! In addition, unlike all other sweeteners, they make no recommendation as to serving size. These people should be sued and put out of business! They are killing diabetics! Another scam food is the new Olive Salad made in Greece. It is swimming in what I assumed to be olive oil. Olive salad, Greece. olive oil right? WRONG! The olive salad is packed in sunflower oil! Going to the the food markets these days is like entering the Little Shop of Horrors. I sometimes wonder what these stores would look like if they removed ALL the unhealthy foods. Think Moscow food markets during the Cold War. But then think what the shoppers would look like. Today's shoppers are 12% diabetic and 38% prediabetic. What a country! You are so right: "Profits over people". Remember, "More doctors smoked Camels than any other cigarettes."

I am sooo happy that I don’t eat meat anymore. I haven’t eaten meat for 4 years. I still plan on watching other health documentaries to learn more about food and all of that. If anyone has any good documentaries to point me to, let me know.

  • So true! We introduced canola oil into our family, and we got Lipomas after that. My cat got Lipomas his food had soy and canola in it and as you said, it’s GMO, sprayed with glyphosphate process with bleach and chemicals, and a fragrance. It is nasty stuff. Watch the KZhead video “how it’s made”. And now it’s being made to be used as a fuel! I wish those companies like ‘beyond beef’ would use olive oil instead of canola! And after drinking soy milk, for eight months, grew lumps in the thyroid, and had to get that removed.😡 so I was also sprayed with glyphosphates and it’s a GMO, a plant estrogen, which cancer loves, and the USA exports tons of it to China and guess what? They have the highest thyroid cancer rate on the planet.
