    • I normally do that shot on a 4-1/2 x 9 pool table without the soaker reds to steer in near-misses. I'd never seen it done on a snooker table before. The only one commonly missed is the corner ball off the three-rail follow-up. The rest just find their way home if the setup is done correctly. Pretty awesome to see on a 12-footer.

    • I think when he lost his dad and hunter in the same year he never fully recovered. He was probably playing the best snooker in the world circa 2002-2003

  • seems silly that being blocked by the jaw of a pocket doesn't count as a snooker officially, is there a reason for that? wouldn't that mean that if there's no easy escape you could lose the frame for missing too many times?

    • It only affects if your opponent leaves you blocked by a jaw after a foul because it wouldn't be a Free ball for you, yet you can always ask him to play again from the final position.

    • If being blocked by a jaw is declared 'officially snookered' from now on, you would not get any advantage when it's hard to escape. You think it'd help, but it wouldn't.   • If someone is snookered, can they deliberately hit the white to move it to a place where the other player is snookered, but have no intention of hitting a red - i.e. they know it will be a foul but they want the other player to foul too so they get another chance? Or is that a foul?
