    • He couldnt catch johnson.... when Willis was getting blocked Johnson was getting held up, if ypu couldn't catch him in that instance you shouldn't be a starter

    • @@kalof3l51 in some instances Johnson was in the open field and Willis still managed to catch up coming from being held up. Even if Johnson was held up prior to it, it's still impressive considering that Johnson was in his prime. Most linebackers even the top elite ones are done for once a young 4.1 -4.2 40 young running back gets a little separation. Usuallyit's up to the db's when the linebackers don't get to a fast running back at the line. Even db's get outran. That's impressive for a linebacker. You can't deny that.

    • @@12jmlnv7 no no man im not saying its not impressive at all Willis was better than most any LB definitely. I just mean even if your faster than someone you will rarely catch them from behind unless running a long distance and Johnson was the fastest or at least top 3 in nfl. But watching people like Willis Johnson is a sight to see

    • I'm guessing you didn't see Chris Johnson leave Patrick Willis in the dust on this 81 yard touchdown run, here 3:52, that was called back huh? Yes, Pat Willis was probably the fastest LB in the NFL at the time, but he was, also, one of the best at taking angles and cutting off faster guys, which is actually the case, here, with CJ2k. Don't get it twisted, couldn't match Chris Johnson speed for speed at all.

      @realest1006@realest10063 жыл бұрын
    • @@realest1006 Nobody thinks Willis was faster than Johnson. But I think the impressive thing is the effort on every play. Even when he didn't/couldn't make the play he was the man was still working like he could. 20 yards behind CJ on the play you mentioned & still didn't slow up until CJ crossed the line lol.

They call it deceptive speed because when he is running it doesnt even look like he is really trying, almost looks like a jog.
